We do private safaris, fly-inn safaris, tailor-made safaris, small group tours, luxury safaris, scheduled tours from 5-15 days, and self-drive safaris. We have our own fleet of custom build 4x4 safari vehicles and excellent guides.

An Unforgettable 16-Day Safari from Windhoek to Victoria Falls

We just completed a breathtaking 16-day journey from Windhoek to Victoria Falls, and we owe much of its success to the incredible team at Blue Crane Safari.

First, a big thank you to Jamie, our tour operator, who crafted the itinerary and accommodation to match our wishes perfectly. Every detail was clearly communicated and flawlessly arranged. We were even provided with a brand-new 4x4 vehicle—fresh off the lot—and had the honor of being its first users!

But the true heart of our adventure was Markus, our tour guide and driver. His dedication, professionalism, and genuine care made this trip unforgettable. Markus kept the vehicle spotless every day, drove with exceptional skill—always avoiding potholes—and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout.

What truly set Markus apart was his extraordinary knowledge of birds and wildlife. His ability to spot birds from incredible distances was astonishing, and he never hesitated to stop the vehicle so we could take photos whenever we encountered birds along the road. These spontaneous moments became some of our favorite memories. His passion for nature, paired with his eagle-eyed vision and insightful commentary, turned every sighting into a meaningful experience.

Markus wasn’t just a guide—he was a companion, a protector, and a walking encyclopedia of the African wilderness. His presence elevated our trip from great to exceptional.

Our family of 5 (kids between 11 and 15) was perfectly taken care of right from the initial planning through to organisation and execution. The communication through Jamie Carew was excellent and the execution of our tour through our tour guide Frank was outstanding. The tour was tailored to our needs, our tour guide was so knowledgeable and attentive to our family requirements. Perfect mix of culture, nature and information. Frank facilitated for our special wishes where possible, was super knowledgeable and reliable and gave us always enough space to enjoy our privacy as a family when needed while always being there for us. Couldn't have wished for anything better.

In evaluating our trip, we determined that the entirely of the trip was the best we have taken. Of the 29 foreign trips that were have had the privilege to participate, Namibia was outstanding. And Blue Crane Safari provided an literary that was varied, nicely paced with lovely lodges. The variety of activities and their memorable experiences we recommend Namibia and in particular Blur Crane without reservation.

We had an incredible trip through Blue Crane Safaris. With Moses as our guide--he was extraordinary! Highly recommend. All the lodges and experiences they booked worked out perfectly. We saw animals galore, experienced the Namibian people, culture and cuisine, and enjoyed every aspect of our trip. Awesome scenic flights. HIGHLY recommend the hot air balloon ride. Working with Derek and the blue crane team was so easy and really made our trip stress free
