An Unforgettable Safari with an Outstanding Guide!

Our safari in Nyerere National Park was an absolutely fantastic experience that we will remember for a long time! Everything was perfectly organized, and our guide was simply outstanding. He has an incredible knowledge of wildlife and nature, and he shares it with such passion and enthusiasm. We felt safe and comfortable with him throughout the entire trip.

We saw so many animals, and he did everything possible to make sure we had the best experience. He never spared time, effort, or fuel to help us discover more wildlife and get the most out of our safari. It was clear that he genuinely cared about our experience and wanted us to leave with unforgettable memories.

On top of being extremely knowledgeable and professional, he is also a wonderful, friendly person who made the whole adventure even more enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide!

We highly recommend him to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania. If we ever return, we would love to go on safari with him again. Thank you for an unforgettable adventure! Asante sana! 🐘🦁🦒

An Amazing Safari

In July 2026, we booked a 7-day private safari through Reinie at Travel with Deo Safaris. It turned out to be an unforgettable experience.

A detailed itinerary had been prepared for the seven days, but Reinie had already explained to us beforehand that the itinerary could still changle depending on the movements of the animals. In fact, just two days before our departure, some accommodations were changed and the itinerary was adjusted to give us the best and most unforgettable experience possible.

Our itinerary included visits to Tarangire, the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater, with a hot-air balloon ride in between.

After our flight to Tanzania, our driver picked us up at the airport and took us to our hotel. It was a lovely hotel, although it was a shame we only stayed there for one night.

The following morning, we were picked up by Steven, our dedicated driver and guide for the next seven days. And I can honestly say: he was an absolutely fantastic driver and guide.

While driving, Steven took plenty of time to tell us all about the animals we saw and the incredible landscapes around us. There was also plenty of time for laughter and jokes. Steven truly made sure that we created some of the most special memories of our safari.

Our overnight stays at the migration camps were unforgettable. We were welcomed with so much warmth and kindness and were incredibly well looked after. It was a truly special experience. Sleeping out on the savannah was definitely something we would not have wanted to miss.

After seven days of safari, we ended our holiday with a few days in Zanzibar. It gave us the perfect opportunity to relax and look back on our amazing safari while staying at a wonderful resort.

This holiday was made even more special thanks to Deo Travel, who arranged and planned everything for us. We were completely taken care of and all we had to do was relax and enjoy every moment.

A 2-Day Magical Escape from Zanzibar – Absolutely Unforgettable! We booked a quick 2 days, 1 night fly-in safari to Nyerere National Park from Zanzibar, and it exceeded every single expectation. If you think two days aren’t enough to experience the true African wild, this trip will prove you wrong! From the moment our bush plane landed at the Mtemere Airstrip, we were immersed in another world. After landing we met our guide and started the game drive, our guide tracked down a pride of lions resting under an acacia tree, followed by huge herds of giraffes, zebras, and elephants. Because Nyerere is so vast and beautifully uncrowded, we were the only jeep there—a beautifully private, authentic experience.The absolute highlight of the trip, however, was the boat safari on the spectacular Rufiji River, drifting quietly alongside hundreds of pods of grunting hippos and massive crocodiles sunning on the sandbanks and the Maasai village. We stayed at Selous River Lodge, the view was stunning and got our meals from the restaurant lodge which we loved.

I had an amazing 2-day safari in Nyerere National Park, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. I was the only guest in the safari vehicle, which made the trip feel very personal. My driver and guide took such great care of me the entire time—they were friendly, knowledgeable, and always made sure I was having the best experience.

I was also incredibly lucky to see so many amazing animals, and every game drive was exciting. A huge thank you for making this trip so special. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Tanzania!

This was amazing! Travel with Deo Safaris communicated well leading up to the safari making sure everything ran smoothly. The flight to the mainland was quick. We were able to see a lot of animals including lions up close! Monkeys climbed onto our truck which was a great photo opp. Lunch was provided and it was delicious. The only thing I would suggest is updating the trucks because the bolts came off our tire, but our tour guide quickly problem solved and ensured that we finished the safari safely. 10/10 recommend overall.
