Great team at African family safaris

Lisa and Nadine or a dynamic duo! From start to finish, they offered the gold standard of customer service. All the details were dialed in. They were flexible and proactive, we communicated daily. The choices of lodging & tour drivers offered first class service in a genuine opportunity to spend time and get to know somebody they were professional and personal. It was clear that they were looking to build a Customer for life. I look forward to returning to Africa and working again with this team my son and I had a trip of a lifetime and you were a huge part of making that happen. Thank you.

My wife and I (both in our mid 60s) had an amazing experience on our two safaris. Rhino Post accommodation, food, staff, the safaris were awesome and Nottens Bush Camp was a step up again. Both were exceptional experiences with too many highlights to list. (We saw the big 5 numerous times along with much much more) Everything from the team at African Family Safaris worked well from the start of the initial chat and recommendations along with the associated booking process until the end of the last safari and being dropped off at the airport. Both drivers were very good...punctual, engaging and very safe. Much appreciated.

We have traveled extensively, but this was our first time on a safari. Lisa and Nadine were awesome from the get go!! Trust is built on prompt and professional replies. Lisa communicated during the week and over the weekends from start to finish. We looked at two other tour operators. Neither one responded to us as timely as Lisa. She asked, then listened to what we were looking for. She then gave her recommendations. We gave her a “10” on the two lodges she booked us in. The hotels in Cape Town in the beginning and Johannesburg at the end were in great locations and we felt safe at all times. Do not try booking hotels in these locations on your own. Nadine then stepped in and confirmed our travel arrangements (two in country flights) and had our seven transfers all waiting on us. She was aware when we landed and confirmed the drivers name. Talk about a felling of trust knowing someone was there for us. Lisa and Nadine are “can do” and “will do” people. An awesome tour for the money! Again thanks to Lisa, Nadine, and African Family Safaris.

A true partner in our holiday

I admit to initially being nervous booking our Safari holiday with a non UK operator. However with a little research we found African Family Safaris and started to explore our holiday. The team were just super, their knowledge was local, they knew every camp we looked at and helped us navigate so many options - all with no pressure or frustration with my [lots] of questions. The price was brilliant, so much better value than I'd found with UK providers. They provide an app which was bespoke to our tour and itinerary, very useful to keep us on track. When we landed in Botswana, two of the team set up a WhatsApp group with them and us so we could reach them at anytime if there were questions or issues. We didn't have any issues, but Lisa & Nadine were there with us the entire holiday and helped out out with a few small changes we wanted to make.

I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this team to help you plan your own Safari. First class.
