A true partner in our holiday

I admit to initially being nervous booking our Safari holiday with a non UK operator. However with a little research we found African Family Safaris and started to explore our holiday. The team were just super, their knowledge was local, they knew every camp we looked at and helped us navigate so many options - all with no pressure or frustration with my [lots] of questions. The price was brilliant, so much better value than I'd found with UK providers. They provide an app which was bespoke to our tour and itinerary, very useful to keep us on track. When we landed in Botswana, two of the team set up a WhatsApp group with them and us so we could reach them at anytime if there were questions or issues. We didn't have any issues, but Lisa & Nadine were there with us the entire holiday and helped out out with a few small changes we wanted to make.

I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this team to help you plan your own Safari. First class.

Our first experience in Africa was unforgettable, Lisa and Nadine understood our needs and expectations, providing a 9 day full itinerary through South Africa, where the dedication could be felt with every selection they made , from accommodations to restaurants and activities, no detail was left unchecked!

From pre-travel talks and guides, to working with serious and established providers during the trip, they were able to adapt to budget needs while delivering a world-class experience,

The frequent check-ins made us feel safe and supported in case anything went sideways, fortunately there were no occurrences, due to their good planning.

Excellent Safari Experience

When planning my vacation in Southern Africa I came across the 10-day Botswana Safari offered by African Family. As it fitted my itinerary I pursued the inquiry with them. I was very pleased with the information provided and attentive communication by the team. At all stages of the booking process and throughout the trip the communication was flawless.
As the Safari, 3 x 3 nights at different lodges, started in Maun I arrived a day earlier and individually booked a guesthouse in Maun. The pick-up was then done from there. In retrospect it gave me an extra night in Botswana and time to wind down before the safari started (also in case there were flight issues etc.).
The selected lodges were all different, but great in their own respect. The transfers were all executed as planned.
I had a great time, excellent bird and game sightings, and met a lot of very nice people.
I can wholeheartedly recommend African Family Safaris.
