Incredible once in a lifetime experience
We had an amazing time on our safari with our wonderful guide, Inno. Everything was very well organized and each day was adapted to our needs and preferences, thanks to Inno's attentiveness to our group. We saw tons of animals, but Inno even paid particular attention to the more "unique" species we hoped to see and was a treasure trove of information about animals, plants, and Tanzania in general. Service at all of the hotels was excellent, and the itinerary was well thought-out to give us an incredible experience. June was the perfect time to the the migration in the Western Serengeti, and weather was great the entire trip. Our contact at Gosheni, Marline, was also very helpful and responsive whenever we needed something before and during the trip. I would highly recommend Gosheni Safaris to anyone!

Thanks to our amazing guide, Michael. He was incredibly responsible and attentive, always helping us solve any problems that came up. Michael drove carefully and professionally, making us feel safe throughout the journey. He constantly engaged us in cheerful conversations, which kept the atmosphere fun and lively.
What stood out most was his detailed and vivid explanations—everything he shared was easy to understand and brought the places we visited to life. On top of that, Michael has a great sense of humor, which made the experience more enjoyable. Thanks to him, our trip was not only smooth but truly perfect. Excellent local Safari Tour Operator and best Tanzania Safari Guide
When we planned our safari, we did some research on some local safari tour operators and global ones, and we decided for Gosheni Safari. That was the right decision, Gosheni is a local reliable Safari Tour Operator. From the moment we inquired for a safari program, William provided us with professional Sales advice, our itinerary was practical and accommodations were well selected. When we were on our one week Safari in June 2025 in Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro, everything went perfectly, Laban, our safari guide took a great care of us. He is a very competent safari guide. Apparently, he’s one of the winners of the Best Tanzania Safari Guide year 2024. His hospitality and deep safari knowledge made our safari experience special and memorable. Apart from the big 5, birds and various wild animals, we got to see a Cheetah, black mamba and the wildebeests migration crossing a river in June! That was incredible. Thanks Laban!

Gosheni Safaris was top knotch!
Gosheni Safaris gave us an incredibly memorable experience. Calvin, our guide, paid attention to the little details that made a lot of difference. For example, providing extra charger when ours didn’t work or washing the windows clean for the next day safaris. He was a good communicator ensuring we knew what was on the itinerary and what to expect. We learned much from Calvin as he talked about the animals we saw and about the really cool Hadza and Masai tours. Calvin was a safe driver. It rained one afternoon and he drove through competently giving us a safe comfort in the trip. He cared about us have a fantastic experience, was safe, and was he was great.

A Once-in-a-Lifetime Safari with Gosheni – Absolutely Unforgettable!
We recently returned from a safari with Gosheni Safaris, and I can wholeheartedly say it was one of the most memorable trips we’ve ever taken. From the very beginning, the experience was seamless and personalized.
Our coordinator, Norah, was absolutely phenomenal. I had quite a few specific requests and questions, and she worked closely with me through countless emails to create the perfect itinerary. She was always quick to respond, incredibly helpful, and had fantastic recommendations. Thanks to her efforts, we enjoyed excellent accommodations and a well-thought-out itinerary that fit our preferences perfectly.
Our guide and driver, Calvin, truly made the safari special. He was not only highly knowledgeable about wildlife, but also so thoughtful and accommodating. For example, he brought a stool to help my mom comfortably get in and out of the vehicle—just one of many ways he went above and beyond. Calvin's driving was calm and confident, even in the most challenging terrain, and we always felt safe in his hands.
We enjoy a pole pole (slow-paced) safari experience, taking our time to observe and photograph wildlife, and Calvin respected this style completely. Our family, full of scientists, asked a lot of questions—about animals, ecosystems, plants, local culture—and he answered them all with enthusiasm, insight, and often a touch of humor. He was personable, engaging, and incredibly well-versed in everything from tribal customs to animal behavior. He was the perfect guide for us.
One of the highlights of the trip was celebrating my mom’s 65th birthday with a surprise picnic on safari. Gosheni went above and beyond to make it special—complete with a birthday cake, while watching elephants and baboons in a stunningly serene setting. It was magical.
I chose Gosheni after extensive research, in part because they are TATO-registered (Tanzania Association of Tour Operators), which signaled professionalism, safety, and high standards—and they exceeded all expectations.

Great experience
We went on Safari with our driver Barik for five days.
Barik had incredible wildlife knowledge. He had keen eyes and with his help, we managed to see all the animals of the big 5 on this trip alone, and even a leopard.
We enjoyed it a lot.
Michael was an excellent guide who took great care of my family!
“The trip of a lifetime” for my husband and I and our 3 adult children. Gosheni provided an unforgettable experience with luxurious accommodations, delicious food and unmatched hospitality. Incredible experience with Michael!
I cannot speak on behalf of the logistical aspects of Gosheni, but I can speak on the tour and our incredible guide, Michael! Michael was professional, kind, funny, patient, and knowledgeable. He was flexible and catered the experience to what we were hoping for. Michael always had a smile on his face and never complained, even when we were late (everyday). We were lucky enough to see the big 5 thanks to Michael knowing the parks so well. We will miss Michael and are so grateful to have had him as our guide!
