Budget operator that doesn't discount on service
Maybe due to time difference, the web chat function on Jocky's website is unresponsive, however, the email communication is prompt and informative. The quoted price is competitive, and names of all the accommodations were given in the quote so if you're not satisfied with them after researching into reviews you can pay for upgrade. Our guide, John Walter, is very knowledgeable and experienced. We saw pretty much all the animals, big or small, and had the unforgettable experience of elephant herd passing right in front of our vehicle, lions mating, and up close with giraffes and zebras. Highly recommend without hesitation.

Lovely experience overall
We have just said goodbye to our driver Evans after a 7-day tour. It was a really enjoyable experience. We covered 5 national parks during the week, so quite a packed programme. Evans is an experienced driver and spotter of animals and we felt safe in his hands. He's not very chatty, but he answered our questions when we had any. The communication with Jocky Tours was easy, they were very quick to reply. Would definitely recommend!

Very professional, easy to communicate with and overall amazing
I had THE best safari experience with Jocky Tours, all thanks to our sweet, amazing, and skillful guide, Julius.
In just half a day, we managed to see all the Big Five of the Maasai Mara! Julius told us, “Ten minutes make a big difference here in the Maasai Mara,” and he was so right! If we’d been just 10 minutes later, we might have missed the beautiful leopard and black Rhino but thanks to Julius, we made it just in time. It was truly the best experience ever.
Excellent
We had a great time especially because of our guide Joseph who was excellent.

Very good and reliable
It was a once in a lifetime experience exploring the wildness in Kenya and our driver/guide Fransis truly went out of his way to make it memorable.
We did a safari for 5 days convering masai mara, lake nakuru, hells gate and ambosoli. Each had thier unique charm and we saw tons of wildlife, infact saw big five two days in row.
I would happily recommend Jocky tours and safaris for travelers looking to visit Kenya.

Reliable
We had an amazing three-day safari with John Faru as our guide. From the moment we met him, John was professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife and landscapes. He always knew the best spots to find animals, and thanks to him we were able to see the Big Five and so much more.
John was also very patient and attentive, always making sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment. His explanations about animal behavior and the local environment made the trip not just exciting but also educational.
We felt completely safe and well taken care of throughout the journey. If you are planning a safari in Kenya, I cannot recommend John highly enough. He made our trip truly unforgettable.

Perfect Itenerary and excellent guide
Excellent value for money and a perfect itenerary (5 days: Masai Mara, Nakuru, Naivasha).
We haven't researched the trip too much and we didn't have to. Just completed left ourselves for Joseph to take care of the whole trip: travel, guide for the game drives, food and accommodation all included. Just stress free and you only need to know what time you are waking up the next day.
The accommodation and food were decent and healthy.
No need to review Masai Mara, or Nakuru or Naivasha as they are unbelievable natural wonders. Joseph made sure we saw the big five and much much more many many times.
Incredible experience overall!

Decent
We recently returned from a 7-day safari in Kenya and had a great experience overall, thanks in large part to our guide, David. From the moment we met him, he was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. He made sure we were comfortable, answered all our questions, and had a great eye for spotting wildlife.
David went above and beyond to make our days enjoyable – from early morning game drives to sharing insights about the local culture and environment.
The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is not because of David, but due to some of the accommodations along the way. While we understood some might have been 3-star lodges/camps, a few were below what we expected in terms of cleanliness and comfort.
That said, the last accommodation – Manjaro Tented Camp – was absolutely amazing. It was clean, comfortable, and had a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. A perfect way to end the trip- 100% recommend!
If you’re planning a safari in Kenya and have the chance to request David as your guide, do it – you’ll be in good hands!
