The most reliable and professional company!
Our experience with Lion King Adventures was nothing short of incredible. They were highly communicative and reliable from the first exchange until our final day. Rose and Maria were so helpful for planning and support. Our guide Suleman was AMAZING - professional, fun and so knowledgeable. We would recommend Lion King to anyone and hope to use them again in the future.

An unforgettable safari with memories to last a lifetime
Our recent adventure with Lion King Adventures was nothing short of a dream come true – a trip of a lifetime that exceeded all expectations! From the moment we began planning, their responsiveness and dedication were truly exceptional. Every question was answered promptly, and every email felt personalized. It was clear they put a lot of care into planning our adventure. In my research of different safari operators, I found that Lion King had the best value for money.
We were so lucky to have Mwita as our guide. He has an incredible eye for spotting animals, and his knowledge of their behavior was impressive. What really stood out was how knowledgeable he was about the entire ecosystem, explaining the intricate relationships between the animals, the land, and the people who live there. Being a Serengeti native, he clearly has a deep connection to the land. We really appreciated his genuine enthusiasm. Even though he's seen these animals countless times, he was just as excited as we were when we encountered lions, rhinos, and thrilling chases. It made the experience even more special.
The lunches were a definite highlight. Lion King Adventures served delicious, fresh-cooked meals, served family-style, with a variety of meats, vegetables, rice, and lentils. It was a real treat compared to the boxed lunches we saw other companies offering.
The accommodations were all excellent, with Nyota Luxury Camp being our favorite. Falling asleep to the sound of lions roaring in the distance was a dream come true. We wish we could have spent more time there!
We highly recommend Lion King Adventures to anyone looking for an unforgettable safari (and particularly Mwita for a guide). They truly go above and beyond.

Lion King adventures met all our expectations to a very high standard.
We had an incredible safari experience with this company. They ensured prompt communication and booked a trip tailored to our needs and preferences. Staying at their resort in Serengeti (Nyota luxury camp) was the highlight of this trip, and our camp had unexpected visitors such as lions, buffalo, zebras, and wildebeest during our stay. Our guide, Salehe, was very efficient and friendly.
Overall, it was a memorable trip!!

World class safari
The most exceptional experience of my life thanks to our amazing guide Salehe (kwanza) and Lion King adventures. Living with Crohn’s disease and traveling to another country can be intimidating to say the least. All my fears were taken away from the minute we met Salehe. He took me straight to the grocery store to pick up lactose free milk and assured my mediations that had to stay refrigerated were well taken care of for the duration of our trip. He assured we found spots for my frequent bathroom trips. His wealth of knowledge about Tanzania, the culture, the Massai, and the animals were that of a world class expert. I learned more from him than years of school. I asked a thousand questions and he was able to answer every single one. His expert attention to looking for the big five turned into success and we saw everything a person could hope to see. From the many prides of lions to cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, elephants, zebra, wildebeest, hippos, rhinos, monkeys, baboons, hyenas, birds. He made us feel safe no matter where our adventure took us. Salehe is an amazing human being and a person you would call a friend by the end of the trip. In a world where our busy lives take over and don’t allow us to take a breath, sit back or relax. Salehe truly changed our lives and my perspective on so many things that life has to offer. We should appreciate the small things in life and be thankful for humans like Salahe that can show us what the true meaning of being thankful means in a place called Tanzania.

Superb from the beginning till the end!
Lion King lived up to and went beyond our expectations. The initial booking process was seamless and Lion King was always prompt and in touch with us, accommodating our requests and tailoring our trip the way we wanted it. Once we landed in Kilimanjaro, everything went according to our plans. Our guide Goodluck was friendly, punctual, patient, knowledgeable, a thorough professional and provided us with exemplary service throughout our adventures in Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. With Goodluck guiding us, we were fortunate to see all the amazing wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, rhinos, buffaloes, elephants, the African ‘ugly’ 5, countless other inhabitants of the plains and the highlands, innumerable species of birds…the list is endless. Thank you Lion King and special thanks to Goodluck, for helping create cherished memories for our family that will last a lifetime!

Great Experience with a Great Guide
We had a great time with our guide Suleiman. He was extremely knowledgeable about plants and animals. He knew where to go to see most animals and was quite personable. The Land Cruiser was comfortable and a great viewing & travel platform. Only downside was how much travel there was, but it is unavoidable given the vast distances to be covered and provided the opportunity to see more of Tanzania. Overall, highly recommend and would do again.

Our family travelled with Lion King Adventures, and the experience exceeded our expectations in every way. The entire trip was extremely well organised and ran smoothly from start to finish.
The planning and coordination were handled with great efficiency and promptness. Caroline and Naurey deserve special recognition for their exceptional attention to detail and clear communication. They were proactive, responsive, and ensured that every aspect of the itinerary was carefully thought through, which made travelling as a family completely stress-free.
The accommodation arranged for us was very good. We stayed in comfortable and well-maintained lodges in Tarangire National Park and Serengeti National Park. The lodges were clean, pleasant, and ideally suited for resting after full days of game drives, adding to the overall quality of the safari experience.
Our guide and driver, Fredrick, was outstanding and played a major role in making this trip so special. His knowledge of the parks, wildlife, and birds was excellent, and he shared it generously throughout the journey. He was consistently punctual, kept the vehicle clean and comfortable, and always ensured we had enough water, soft drinks, and beers available during the drives.
Fredrick’s dedication truly stood out — he went out of his way to ensure we had the best possible sightings and a memorable experience. His professionalism, work ethic, and genuine enthusiasm made this safari one we will remember for a very long time.
We highly recommend Lion King Adventures to anyone looking for a reliable, well-organised, and high-quality safari experience in Tanzania.

A wonderful safari with our guide Enock
Right from the start Lion King were responsive and professional. I contacted a few other safari companies but Lion King were the ones that made me feel like they would give us the best safari. They listened to what we wanted from our safari and came up with initial proposal. We wanted to make a few changes and our sales agent Nickson Anderson duly responded with suggestions for the tweaks we wanted to make.
Once the safari was decided on we liaised with Nickson Obedi, part of the logistics team, who booked the accommodation and made sure we knew all the logistical details to make our safari go smoothly. Before we travelled any questions we had were quickly responded to and they gave us all the information we needed re, visas, vaccinations, where we would be picked up and when etc, to make sure we knew what we needed to do and where we needed to be.
For our 5 night luxury safari Enock was our safari guide. Enock was an excellent guide with an engaging smile and relaxed nature. It was great to learn from him and he was always happy to knowledgably answer our questions. My husband is a keen photographer and Enock always managed to get us into a good position for photos and patiently waited for us to get the shots we wanted.
Enock went out of his way to make sure we got to see everything we wanted to. We saw Leopards, Cheetahs, lots of lions, Elephants, Black Rhinos, Hippos, Giraffes, Zebras and Wilderbeast on migration and so much more.
We visited Lake Manyara, Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengetti National Park and stayed in 3 different accommodations. The accommodation that stood out for us was Nyota luxury camp. From the warm welcome to the luxury tent with a terrace from which you could see giraffes amble past, this camp was fabulous. We would have loved to have stayed longer than 3 nights here.
Everyone in Lion King that we dealt with did an excellent job of giving us a safari to remember. I would thoroughly recommend using them.
