Wonderful, amazing service especially from Richard.
The trip is well organised, no pressure for anything, the tour guide, Richard, one in a million. I guess its his lifetime mission for us tourists to experience the best out of the Mara experience. He truly is the best, i highly recommend him for any of your tour safaris. I had the best time of my life so far.

A well-organized safari with an expert guide Eric and unforgettable, authentic wildlife experiences.
3days/2nights safari. A fantastic safari. We saw all the Big Five and many more, thanks to our guide, Eric, who was excellent at spotting animals, positioned the car in the best position, and knew the park. the overnight stay in the basic camp was fine. the food is modest but tasty. Thank you and we highly recommend it!

Best experience ever!! Very well organised
Absolutely amazing safari experience from start to finish. We were lucky enough to spot the Big Five, often from very close up, which made it truly unforgettable. Our tour guide Kevin was highly experienced and shared valuable educational knowledge and insights throughout the safari, while also being incredibly friendly, kind, and patient and made the trip evenbetter. The accommodation and food were excellent, and everything was perfectly organised from pick-up , journey to the park, during the safari, through to drop-off at the hotel. We couldn’t fault a single thing, hands down one of the best if not the best experiences we’ve ever had and would highly recommend Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris to anyone.

Without question, the best safari guide I have ever had.
I am a very experienced safari traveler, having been on safaris across Uganda, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Zambia, South Africa, and more. Because of that, I have high standards — and Khalifa didn’t just meet them, he exceeded them in every possible way. He completely set the bar for what a world-class safari guide should be.
With over 20 years of experience, Khalifa’s knowledge and instincts are extraordinary. His ability to read the plains, interpret animal behavior, and anticipate movements is nothing short of remarkable. He consistently found wildlife in places I would never have noticed on my own. The results were unforgettable.
We witnessed incredible, rare moments: multiple lion prides, including one that took down a buffalo — and we watched them feeding on their kill early in the morning in the Masai Mara. We also saw a leopard moments after it pounced on a gazelle. I have never experienced so much wildlife action on any safari before.
Throughout the tour, we saw everything I hoped for and more: lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, kudu, black and white rhinos, and massive herds of elephants crossing the road with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background. I truly believe Khalifa’s expertise is the reason we saw so much — this was not luck, but skill and experience.
Derrick, who was training under Khalifa, was also excellent — knowledgeable, attentive, and a pleasure to learn from. Hearing about the Maasai people and culture through Derrick’s personal stories added a meaningful and personal dimension to the experience. Having two outstanding guides truly made this safari exceptional.
Before the tour even began, Monika was outstanding as a communicator and planner. She was responsive, clear, and incredibly helpful throughout the booking process. Monika patiently answered all of my questions and helped me choose the perfect itinerary that truly catered to my needs, travel style, and expectations. Her communication skills and attention to detail made the entire planning process smooth, stress-free, and reassuring.

Incredible
We have had such an amazing time on this tour with Kevin, he is very friendly and professional. I have been on several safaris previously, in Tanzania, Zambia and Namibia but this had the most drama. Kevin always had us in the right place at the right time.
Very good value for money, the accommodation were very good so was the food. Staying at Lake Nakuru Lodge is a must, such an amazing view with game coming up to the fence line.

100% recommended. I travelled solo and chose to do the 5-days Masai Mara/Nakuru/Naivasha group shared safari with Axis. Initial communication was with Lucie. She provided options for me to choose, answered to all my questions, and customized the itinerary as per my requests. Communication was smooth, prompt and explicit. Our driver/guide Amos was the best we could have. He is a very careful driver and made us feel safe at all times. He was friendly, communicative, and created a nice atmosphere among the group of strangers that we were. He was in constant vigilance to spot the animals and provided valuable info. He gave us enough time to see the animals and take photos. We saw the big 5 and many more. He was very accurate and adhered to the program. A well-organized safari without a single unpleasant surprise. Thank you Axis and personally Lucie and Amos who made this life time experience unique.

Knowledge and fun with Axis
We had a magical 7 days safari with Axis Africa Safaris. Everything was arranged with care and according to our needs from Philip, from accomodation to food (flexible for vegetarian too). Communication was so smooth and easy. Sammie Hinga was the most perfect driver and guide we could ever expect. He is so knowledgeable and trustworthy, we always felt safe in his hands.
Totally recommend a safari with Axis!!! We can't wait to enjoy another adventure with them. Thanks Sammy and Philip for making it so special.
