Jared is an incredible guide!
My 19 year old daughter and I had the most fantastic time! The experience was amazing! Couldn’t recommend this company more from the planning to The Safari. They are so knowledgeable and helpful!

Beautiful 5 days Safari
The whole Safari was perfect, we saw the big five and a lot of other animals. In Serengeti we saw the animals almost next to the car, we had to use the binoculars just in a few situations because they were so close to us.
Our guide: Melita. He has a really nice personality and he knew every spot where we can see the animals the best. He is well organised and helpful, he knew everything about the animals and he has a very big experience.
The Suricata Boma Lodge has a really high quality, a world wide level of accomodation.
The Karibu - Tansania Bush Camp
Serengeti Tanzania Bush Camp-Simba: the manager Steve and his team had big experience and did everything for us to have the best staying in their lodge, we really enjoyed the time there, I can wholeheartedly recommend them!

Best Safari experience in Tanzania
We had a five-day safari tour with Suricata Safaris, and it was the best decision we could have made. They are a very well-organized company, kind and flexible. They also took the time to inform us about everything on day zero, before the tour even started.
Our guide, Mellita, is extremely experienced and knows exactly where to find the animals. I had the feeling that he knows every single tree in the national parks. We were able to get very close to the animals, and he always found us the best spots for taking photos. He has extensive knowledge and told us a lot about the animals, their habits, and many interesting facts. He also knows a great deal about Maasai culture, and we even had the opportunity to visit a village.
The accommodations were amazing. The Suricata Boma Lodge is a true paradise, and in the mornings I enjoyed my coffee on the balcony while zebras were running around in the garden. At the Serengeti Bush Camp, we could hear the animals at night, and they have the best manager in the world—thank you, Steve.
The food was excellent, and the staff were very kind and welcoming, always doing their best to fulfill every wish.
Thank you, Suricata Safaris, for this unforgettable adventure.

An excellent safari experience with an extremely knowledgeable guide, kind staff everywhere, comfort
We did a 5-day safari during which we visited 4 national parks. We saw an incredible amount of wildlife and were lucky enough to see all members of the Big Five in the wild.
Communication was excellent, and everything ran smoothly from our arrival until the very end. We were always expected, picked up and transferred without any hassle.
We spent the first two nights in the company’s own lodge overlooking Lake Manyara – a truly luxurious place with beautiful rooms and a pool. Our night in the Serengeti National Park was unforgettable: listening to lions roaring at dawn from the comfort of our bed was simply magical.
A huge thank you to Mellita, our tour guide, who knows the national parks like the back of his hand – thanks to him, we were always at the best spots to photograph the animals. Special thanks as well to Steve, the manager of our Serengeti accommodation, who together with his team did everything to ensure our comfort.

Knowledgeable, professional operator delivering an unforgettable Ngorongoro safari
I had an incredible day safari in the Ngorongoro Crater with Melita. From the moment we entered the crater, it was clear how knowledgeable and experienced he is. Melita has a deep understanding of the park, its wildlife behavior, and the best areas to explore at the right times.
Thanks to his sharp eyesight and excellent instincts, I was able to see all of the Big 4 along with many other animals up close. He often spotted wildlife long before others did, positioning us perfectly for amazing views and photos.
What really stood out was how he explained what I was seeing—sharing details about the animals, their habits, and the unique ecosystem of the crater—which made the safari even more enjoyable and memorable. Melita’s professionalism, calm driving, and passion for the park truly elevated the experience.
I highly recommend Melita to anyone visiting the Ngorongoro Crater. It was an unforgettable highlight of my trip.

Fantastic
We spent four amazing days with our guide and driver, Luther. The day before the safari, we flew to Arusha, and Suricata Safari provided us with transfers and a hotel overnight stay with breakfast. The next morning, we met our guide and hit the road. The jeep was comfortable, with each passenger having a window seat. We made a couple of stops along the way for drinks and bathroom breaks. Our first stop was Tarangire National Park. This was our first encounter with the amazing world of animals and birds in their natural habitat. We saw zebras, giraffes, elephants, mongooses, and antelope. Our guide, Luther, deserves a special mention. He was excellent at spotting animals at a distance and pointing them out to us. We drove very close to the animals that were nearby, always finding the best photo positions. We also had lunch in a designated area in the park and then continued on. After completing the excursion in the park, we arrived at the lodge near the lake. A stunning hotel with private cabins and a fantastic view of Lake Manyara from the pool (be sure to bring a swimsuit). Dinner at the hotel was delicious and varied. On the second day, we headed to the Serengeti National Park. Words cannot describe its splendor; it must be seen. We traveled in January and witnessed the Great Migration, where thousands of herds of zebras, antelopes, and gazelles migrate to the Serengeti! Our guide answered all our questions, shared interesting facts, and made stops for photos and observation. We didn't feel rushed or uncomfortable at all. In the park, we saw lions, leopards in the trees, cheetahs in the grass, zebras, giraffes, elephants, various antelopes, and other wildlife. The sunset over the Serengeti capped this action-packed day. Once again, our wonderful guide chose the best spot for observation and photography, waited while we enjoyed it, and only then did we head to our overnight accommodations. We spent our second night in a tent. But! This isn't a tent; it's a fully-fledged hotel room with a shower and toilet, located in the middle of the savannah. All night long, you'll be haunted by the sounds of insects, birds, and animals under a star-filled sky. This experience is definitely worth it, and we want to thank the organizers again! On the third day, we traveled through the Serengeti again and saw a pride of lions (2 lions, 4 lionesses, and 8 cubs) within arm's reach (Luther, thank you so much). It's hard to describe; the photos tell the story better. Then we went to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and visited a Maasai family in their village. We were greeted with a welcome dance, shown how to make fire, invited into their home, answered our questions, and then taken to a local school, where the students sang, counted, and read. It was all amazing! We spent our third night in a hotel in a village near Ngorongoro. At 5:30 AM, we set out for the Ngorongoro Crater. We watched the sunrise and saw pelicans, flamingos, rhinoceroses (which isn't always the case due to their shyness), and other wildlife. That's where our amazing trip ended. A huge thank you to Suricata Safari. You do an incredible job! Thanks again to our guide, Luther
