Incredible experience thanks to the Suricata Safari team
We had an incredible 4-day safari! It was a magical experience: the beauty of the animals, the magnificent landscapes, and the lovely people. Our guide Amiri and chef Salim were fantastic throughout the entire trip. Our guide, who knows the animals and the environment perfectly, allowed us to see a huge number of animals and witness unique displays! The meals prepared by Salim were delicious!
The organization was perfect, and our guide Daniel, who led the briefing and debriefing, was also excellent.
I highly recommend Suricata Safari!!

The safari was exceptional. We spent four days completely disconnected from time, immersed in the safari experience and surrounded by animals. We saw every animal imaginable in the savanna, in their natural habitat. The team, consisting of our guide Amiri and our cook Salim, who accompanied us throughout, was simply fantastic. Amiri showed us the best spots, and we ate incredibly well, enjoying local dishes every day. Even the briefing and debriefing at the hotel, conducted by Daniel, were excellent—very clear and attentive.

Amazing safari experience
An incredible experience with suricata, our tour guide Felix was super knowledgeable on the animals, he answered every question we had and taught us a lot about the animals and the masai culture. He show us how to be respectful of the animals during the safari and with his expertise we managed to see all of the big 5 in a close range. Before the safari started Daniel gave us a briefing at a hotel which helped us know what to expect from the safari. The tour also had a good value for money.
The lodges we stayed at were a great experience as well. The suricata lodge was amazing the rooms were spacious and the environment was great. All the staff members have been super kind and helpful during our trip. I would definitely recommend this experience.

Amazing experience
4-days mid range safari.
I traveled with my family and a friend family. We were total 6 and didn’t really know what to expect. We had a great experience, much better than what we could imagine. Everything was well organized starting from the pick up at the airport.
We had our arrival briefing with Daniel who also offered us an interesting city tour (especially the view of mount Meru and sunset from the top of a building in the city center) and helped us to rent binoculars that we forgot to bring from home.
We visited Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. We were lucky enough to have a very knowledgeable guide in Felix. He drove safely all the way and he always took the time to explain us things and answer to our questions. We could see he knew where to go to spot animals and he finally managed to let us see the big 5 but not only.
Accommodations were good, clean and comfortable. In particular Suricata Boma lodge was outstanding but also the Tanzania bush camp was a good experience with really friendly staff.
We had hot meals every day. Some days better than others and maybe a little repetitive towards the end, but it was better than the cold lunch boxes or sandwiches I was expecting.
Overall we had a great experience with Suricata that I can strongly recommend.

Life changing experience
Suricata Safari is the best!
We had a fantastic 5 day camping safari.
I actually don't have words to describe the feelings I felt and how sad I am to be back home.
A dream became true- to see the animals in nature....the landscape..their behavior....just impressive. Our tour Guide and driver Golden- what a legend! He made it all possible-even the BIG 5!!! Also he told us so many interesting facts about the animals, he is super friendly and also a very safe and careful driver!
The camps were fantastic- also the bathrooms always clean, tents spacious....and the food! Wow! So delicious!
I cried when it was over...my heart is still there. Great company with perfect organisation. Everything 5 stars!

we were absolutely satisfied with the whole trip. the accomodations, especially the Suricata Boma Lodge, were amazing as a 5star hotel. the staff was very polite and cheersful everywhere. our guide, Felix was also very kind and well-informed, Daniel, the operator was nice and helpful.
ps: wear slippers during the game drives, because you can have a better sight if you stand on the seats (without shoes ofc) and it is easier to take the slippers than the boots on and off.

Great service and safari
We arrived in Zanzibar late november and had talked about going to the mainland on safari. After talking to alot of companies we nearly gave up on the safari drem, but then we came i contact with Suricata Safari and within 24 hours we had a safari planned and booked. During the booking Suricata was very helpful with answering all of our questions and made sure we felt safe during the whole process.
During our safari tour they kept checking in and making sure everything was fine. During the safari we had a very good guide who made sure we got alot of information about the animals we saw and the national parks we visited. Overall a great experience with nothing to complain about.
Safari experience with the best team
Very well organised, best staff!
They were super involved to give us the best tour. Caring for all members of our group (allergies, special needs…), you feel taken care off for the very beginning till the end. They always give you all the information and recommendations you need. Very kind and friendly staff, always with a smile, you can tell they are very passionate about their job and experts in what they do.
Food was something else, delicious, varied, local, everything that we can ask for. We had an amazing chef.
The guide and driver (Luther) was always looking forward to give us the best view of the wildlife and find as much animals as possible. He knew perfectly where to go to spot them, and gives a lot of explanations for us to understand what we are watching. Even if the roads are crazy, we felt super safe while he drove all along. He created a really nice environment in the jeep and gave us an unforgettable tour.
And you can see other drivers of the company are also doing the same thing.
The Safari was incredible, we were so lucky because of the season, but also because of the staff experience, and got to see many things, including the big five.
If you are hesitating to do a Safari, go for it! And if you choose to do it with Suricata, that’ll be the best choice for sure: Local company, great, passionate and experienced staff, best food, well organised, a very complete experience to enjoy.
