An unforgettable safari experience with Suricata Safaris
Our 5-day safari with Suricata Safaris was absolutely fantastic and exceeded all of our expectations. We visited Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, the Serengeti, and the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater. Every single day was filled with unforgettable moments and incredible wildlife sightings.
A very special thank you goes to our guide, Luther. With his experience, extensive knowledge, and warm personality, he made this trip truly exceptional. He had an incredible eye for spotting animals and ensured that we experienced many spectacular encounters. At the same time, he shared his passion and knowledge about Tanzania’s wildlife, nature, and culture with great enthusiasm.
The entire trip was perfectly organized. Everything ran smoothly, the accommodations were excellent, and the food was always fresh, varied, and delicious. Everyone at Suricata Safaris was friendly, helpful, and made sure that we felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout the journey.
You can truly feel the passion and professionalism behind Suricata Safaris. Thanks to the entire team, and especially to Luther, we created memories that will stay with us for a lifetime.

Melita is a kind and knowledgeable tour operator. He eventually helped us after for a nice dinner
There are some trips that feel special while you’re still in the middle of them, and this safari was definitely one of those. From the first day, everything had such a good rhythm: early starts, beautiful landscapes, exciting drives, relaxed evenings at camp, and plenty of moments where everyone was just looking around in silence because the scenery was so impressive.
Camping for 3 nights made the whole experience feel even more real and adventurous. It was simple in the best way, but still very well organized. The food was also a big surprise. Our chef was friendly, always smiling, and somehow managed to make breakfast, lunch, and dinner taste great every day.
Melita was exactly the kind of guide you want on a safari. He was calm, funny, easy to talk to, and clearly knew the area incredibly well. He didn’t just point things out; he explained what we were seeing and made the animals, tracks, and surroundings much more interesting. He also paid attention to the group and made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves.
By the end of the 4 days, we had seen so much wildlife, including the Big 5, which was an unforgettable bonus. But what really made the trip stand out was the combination of Melita’s guiding, the relaxed camping atmosphere, and how smoothly everything was arranged.
A fantastic experience from beginning to end, and one I would happily recommend.

Everything lived up to our expectations. We booked few days in advance and everything was even better than we thought. Absolutely worth your money! Good accommodation on arrival and campsites were an experience we won’t forget! Seriously good.
We had an amazing 4-day safari with 3 nights of camping, and Melita was truly a fantastic guide. Thanks to him, we were able to see the Big 5, which made the experience unforgettable. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the animals, nature, and the surroundings, and explained everything in a fun and clear way.
What made Melita extra special was how involved he was with the group. He made sure everyone felt comfortable, took the time to answer questions, and really went the extra mile to give us the best possible experience.
The camping experience was also excellent. The chef was super friendly, and the food was delicious for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Everything was well organized, and the atmosphere was very relaxed.
In short: a fantastic safari, an amazing guide, and an experience we will never forget. Absolutely worth 5 stars!
Felix was absolutely the best guide ever!
Wow, what a Tanzanian safari adventure! From the moment Felix met us at our hotel to our final goodbye hug we could not have asked for a better more experienced guide. Felix’s knowledge of the animals, plants and culture of the area was immeasurable. His thoughtfulness, kindness and joy was authentic. He made it easy to just relax and enjoy every aspect of the trip. We highly recommend Felix and will definitely request him as our guide the next time we book our safari with Suricata.

The Guide Behind the Safari of a Lifetime
We were incredibly lucky to have Luther as our guide during our safari, and we honestly could not have asked for a better experience.
From the very first moment we met him, he was friendly, welcoming, polite and professional. He immediately made us feel comfortable and throughout the entire safari he constantly looked after everyone in the group. He was always thinking ahead, making sure we were comfortable, had everything we needed and were enjoying ourselves.
One thing we especially appreciated was his communication. Luther always kept us informed about what was happening and what to expect next. Whether he was collecting park permits, planning the next game drive, driving to a new destination or organising lunch, he continuously explained the plan and what we were going to do. This made us feel relaxed, informed and completely taken care of throughout the safari.
His knowledge of the wildlife, nature and parks was outstanding. He shared fascinating information about animal behaviour and answered every question with patience and enthusiasm. We learned so much from him during our journey.
What truly impressed us was his incredible ability to spot animals. Thanks to Luther we experienced sightings that we never imagined we would see. During our safari we saw all of the Big Five, including a leopard and the rare black rhino. We also saw a cheetah with her cubs, a cheetah that had just caught a newborn gazelle, lions, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, countless antelopes and many beautiful bird species.
Some moments were simply unforgettable. We had a male lion and a lioness right next to our jeep, watched elephants feeding only a few metres away and witnessed incredible wildlife encounters throughout the trip. Many of these sightings would never have happened without Luther's sharp eyes, experience and dedication.
Beyond being an excellent guide, Luther is simply a wonderful person. He is kind, respectful, patient, funny and genuinely passionate about his work. It never felt like he was just doing a job. It felt like he truly wanted us to have the best safari experience possible.
We would also like to compliment Suricata Safaris on the accommodations. Every single stay exceeded our expectations. Suricata Boma Lodge was fantastic, with beautiful facilities, excellent food and incredibly friendly staff. The Tanzania Bush Camp experience was absolutely magical. Sleeping in the bush while still enjoying so much comfort was something we will never forget. Our final accommodation was equally impressive and provided the perfect ending to an unforgettable safari.
What surprised us most was how much comfort and service we received throughout the entire trip. The staff at every accommodation were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. You truly receive far more than you expect.
A special thank you as well for helping make Camilo's birthday such an unforgettable day. Celebrating a birthday surrounded by Tanzania's wildlife was already special, but Luther helped make it even more memorable.
If you are lucky enough to have Luther as your guide, you are in the very best hands. He is a true professional, an exceptional wildlife guide and a wonderful ambassador for Tanzania.

Great Expierence - super well organized!
So, we did a 5 Day Mid Range Safari and it was a very very great Expierence.
Everything was well organized and the Lodges and the Camp were so great.

Luther and Suricata were amazing!
Luther helped make this the trip of my dreams! We saw an incredible variety of wildlife, including the Big Five. The parks were breathtaking, the meals were fantastic, and every part of the experience exceeded my expectations.
