Unforgettable 4-Day Safari – We Saw the Big Five and So Much More!
My sister and I did the 4-day group camping safari in March 2026, and we can truly recommend it from the bottom of our hearts. Everything was very well organized from start to finish, and the whole experience was simply unforgettable.
We were picked up on the first day of the safari and also brought back afterwards, which made the whole trip very easy and stress-free.
Our guide Filex was absolutely fantastic. He was extremely dedicated and always tried his best to show us as many animals as possible. You could really tell how experienced he is — he always seemed to know exactly where to find the animals. Thanks to him, we even managed to see a leopard, which is usually very difficult to spot, as well as several rhinos, which are also quite rare to see. In just four days, we were lucky enough to see all of the Big Five, plus many, many other animals.
During the safari, you go on many game drives, which means you really get lots of opportunities to see wildlife. We were amazed by how many animals we saw over the four days.
The food was also great. Fresh meals were prepared three times a day. If you have any dietary restrictions, allergies, or if you are vegetarian, that is not a problem at all — they take this into consideration and prepare suitable meals.
For the camping itself, we would recommend bringing a quick-dry towel, soap, and toilet paper, as these are not provided at the campsite. It is also a good idea to bring enough cash for tips.
Overall, this was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We felt safe, well looked after, and very welcome during the entire trip. We would absolutely recommend this safari to anyone considering it.

Tanagire Park day safari
I just completed a day safafri with guide Steve Francis today and it was very rewarding. Despite being tge start of the rain season, we were fortunate to see several animals including, several very colorful species of birds, wart hog, giraffe, dik dik and larger size antelope. Steve also spotted a herd of elephants and drive our jeep to interecept them just as they crossed the road right next to us, which was a thrill to be able to see them so close. The highlight of the day occurred when we encountered a leopard with a fresh antelope kill up a tree close to the road. The leopard scrambled up the tree and began to feed on its kill while we all got to watch. That was very cool and apparently very rare to see. I think we were very lucky to have seen that. I look forward to the remaining days of our Safari, with Steve as our guide. It should be a blast!

Amazing
It was truly an amazing experience, and the Suricata team made it even more special. Aizak was not only an incredibly knowledgeable guide, but also a genuinely nice person who made sure we had a fantastic time throughout all three days (we saw the big 5 and much more) Chef Tito was equally impressive, preparing delicious meals each day. Highly recommend this team for an unforgettable adventure.

Absolutely incredible
Did the five day mid range tour with Suricata. On e of my best travel experiences. Organization was top notch. From the pickup to Accomodation to food and the tour itself. There was never a minute where we lacked information. I think we got the best tour guide in all of Africa. Freddie deserves a Nobel price. His expert knowledge of the animals is second to none. Plus his jokes and very very warm nature. Highly recommend

Unforgettable Safari Experience
This tour was absolutely perfect! Everything was so well organized and it was just smooth! They handled all the admission fees, transportation, accommodations and meals. We were picked up from and dropped off at our hotel by Daniel and he was funny and great and it felt like we made a forever friend. He was so accommodating with the multiple stops we needed and super chill about it. We did the 4 day group camping and had such an amazing time. We only had 4 other people in the car with us and never felt like we struggled to take pictures or videos. Our guide was Luta and he was absolutely amazing! He was friendly, funny, patient and just a pleasure to be around. He worked so hard and helped make a dream come true. We got to see The Big 5! Our chef was Jeremiah and he was absolutely incredible! From preparing our breakfast to making and packing our lunch and handling dinner every day! He was friendly and helpful and patient! All the food was delicious and well organized. The entire crew made the atmosphere just so fun and relaxed. The camping was definitely an experience but I wouldn’t change it because it gave us once in a lifetime memories. Honestly I would say this is best for anyone looking for a real adventure without any chaos! Highly highly recommend this company!

Amazing Safari experience
just finished an excellent 5 day safari with suricata. Our guides Melita and Cheddy did an outstanding job, showing and explaining all about the dozens of different animals we saw. Accomodation, particularly at Suricata Boma Lodge, was amazing. Every single staff interaction was incredibly friendly and hospitable. Plenty of delicious food also for vegetarians. Overall easy 10/10.

Amazing experience! The communication was always very clear and quick and transparent in response. During the safari the guide explains and knows so much, going from animals, to culture, to geography and volcanoes. Also the food was amazing! Always daily prepared, local food made by the crew.
