Kind,Professional and timely Communication.
I communicated with the tour operator through WhatsApp messages. She responded to all of my inquiries promptly and always took the time to explain anything I didn't understand in a clear and friendly manner. Thanks to her support, I felt completely at ease throughout the booking process and was able to trust the tour company with confidence.
During the tour, our professional driver made every effort to find all the animals we hoped to see and brought us close enough to enjoy amazing views of them. It was truly an unforgettable experience, and I will cherish these memories for a lifetime.

Top Notch Operator - Best Planner and Drivers
Shanjoy - 5 stars all the way! Our safari started with the meticulous planning from Rodah. She was amazingly responsive, offered ideas to customize our itinerary that covered Mara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro crater by road. Shanjoy was able to secure some great lodges at better prices than direct booking. She worked very hard to make this a great trip, including finding us two amazing guides that fit our desires to maximize time in the bush. Thank you Rodah!
Stephen, our Mara driver was amazing. His vehicle was clean and well maintained. Stephen was great at finding unique ways to explore the entirety of Mara in 3 bush days. We saw the Big 5 on our first arrival game drive and the rest was all bonus finding the animals hunting, feeding, and up as close as the roads would allow. Stephen knew just where to position the vehicle every time for the best photos. He was very active with the other guides to find the best spots. Stephen was kind and always sought ways to share his knowledge. Highly recommended!!
Elly, was our guide in Tanzania. We covered lots of territory to find the great migration and found it! Elly was always willing share his knowledge and be patient waiting for the scenes to unfold. He made sure we were taken care of at every camp and spent nice full days in the bush. He knew just how to plan out our days with sunrises in the morning drive and sunsets arriving at the lodge. Not a minute waisted. So many animals even elusive leopards!
Shanjoy was top notch! Our groups experienced ranged from newbies to those with 3 countries and 3 safaris under their belt and all around 5 star rating!!!

The best tour operator across all aspects of a safari.
I travelled to Kenya and Tanzania with my husband and teenagers to experience a safari operator by Shanjoy and our expectations were surpassed. I have done many safari's and this was the best. Right from the start Shanjoy out perform others. We communicated with Patrick and Beth many times to plan a lengthy safari and they were very responsive to our requests and communicative. Shanjoy are also very trustworthy and the recommendations that they provided were fantastic and they were not trying to lead us into arrangements that were easier for them. Overall this company if highly ethical and wants to provide a wonderful and memorable safari to its clients.
They are a company that is passionate about wildlife and Africa in general. The company is very experienced within the Safari sector and this experience is to the travellers benefit. The staff are continually visiting and appraising safari lodges and ensuring that quality is maintained over time.
One of the best elements that Shanjoy has to offer is their experienced guides. If you are travelling in Kenya I highly recommend Kim as a guide. He is the ultimate veteran and professional. He has decades of experience and when you drive into a park he engages with huge enthusiasm for all wildlife and nature. It is as if he is seeing it for the first time and as he says it each day offers something different. His knowledge about all animals, including birds is superior and he is also skilled at understanding the landscape and finding animals. He is also one of the nicest people ever.
Our guide Kim knew staff at all lodges which was very advantageous when I needed to see the lodge nurse and he had her direct number! Kim made sure that everything was in place and going well for us everyday and paid attention to all the details that made our holiday a smooth experience, and is the standard provided by Shanjoy.
After several safari's I can't recommend Shanjoy enough and would definitely use them again.

Amazing and Shanjoy made it a trip of a lifetime!
Everything from start to finish was excellent. Shanjoy worked very closely with us to customize the perfect trip from start to finish. From customizing accommodations to the ones we wanted (even specific preferences as to rooms), while on the game drives taking our preferences as to animals, timing etc. into account, to helping with boarder crossings/VISA information to make sure the whole trip felt effortless and we could just enjoy! They made everything perfect. Shanjoy's communication was excellent and always made us feel like their main goal was for us to have the exact trip we wanted. Beth and Rodah were amazing. Our guide Kim was also amazing with a wealth of information and was a true ornithologist at heart! We would wholeheartedly recommend Shanjoy to anyone (and already have to friends and family!)

An Unforgettable Safari with Shanjoy – Highly Recommended!
We had a wonderful tour with Shanjoy. Even before the trip, communication with Rodah was excellent, she answered every single question and prepared us perfectly for the safari.
Our guide in Kenya, Rio, was fantastic. He speaks English as well as German and Spanish, and he was extremely reliable, guiding us brilliantly throughout the Kenyan leg of our safari. With him, we saw the Big Five up close, and he shared a wealth of background information along the way. The safari was truly unique and absolutely worth experiencing. We always felt safe and well taken care of.
The border crossing into Tanzania went smoothly too, and our new guide, Haji, was already there to welcome us. He also guided us wonderfully through the national parks, and we got to see so much.
We felt completely at ease with Shanjoy and with both guides, Rio and Haji, and we can warmly recommend Shanjoy to anyone. Many thanks to the entire team!

The experience was beyond our wildest dreams.
Shanjoy tours went above and beyond making our Safari the best experience ever. Our guide Steve was not only extremely knowledgeable, but seriously fun. For us he was perfect. He found all of the five animals we went to see and also many more. The accommodations and food were great, neither of us had any issues . Steve made sure that we got to see not only the animals, but our visit to the Masai village left me with a deep respect for these wonderful people, and a time that I will never forget

Strong customer focus, attentive to detail, and adaptable
We had a wonderful experience during our nearly 2 week trip to Kenya. Everything was thoughtfully planned by Rodah, who was fantastic to work with - kind, attentive and very easy to work with. She organized the entire trip perfectly, responded quickly and adapted easily to almost every request.
The trip itself was absolutely amazing. Kimani was our driver throughout the journey and he was incredibly flexible and accommodating our needs, especially as I was travelling alone with two children. He made the whole experience smooth, comfortable and stress-free.
We absolutely recommend Shanjoy and Kenya. We will travel back with them again.

Excellent Kenyan/Tanz Safari!
We just had a great 11 day Safari with Shanjoy Tours and Safaris in Kenya and Tanzania. Good people and very responsible.
They took excellent care of us and worked with us for some changes we made along the way and did a great job taking care of us and working with us and staying flexible. We felt safe, saw lots of animals, had some good adventures and met interesting people. I would highly recommend them and we hope to use them again. Special compliments to the various guides we worked with; Patrick, Diana, Oliver(?)David, Patrick, Samuel, and all were great.
I would HIGHLY recommend the Balloon trip over Masai Mara; That was fabulous and well worth it. See some pictures below.
