Mikumi National park -Good
Mikumi national park is huge but there are not too many see as I expected , it was rainy ,clean, staff was extremely goog, friendly , punctual, anyway I enjoyed it
Excellent 1-day Safari
This review is for a 1-day Safari in Mikumi NP from Dar es Salaam. While it was a very long day, the seamlessness of the trip including all the transfers made it easy. Kihindo picked me up at my hotel in Dar, drove me to the train station, then picked me up in Morogoro and drove me to Mikumi. The actual game drive was 6+ hours including lunch in the park. Salaniki was a great guide and found me 3 of the big 5. Very knowledgeable and friendly. If you only have 1 day to do a safari, this is a good choice.

My friends and I signed up for a 4 day safari of Mikumi and Ruaha National Parks with Kihondo. We were grateful to be assigned Michael and Nuhu as our guides. Both of them were accommodating, exceptionally knowledgable and eager to answer any questions we had throughout the trip.
They were tireless in their efforts to ensure we had the best possible experience. While spotting animals in a safari is not guaranteed, both Michael and Nuhu were constantly communicating with other guides and exploring new areas so that we could catch the more elusive animals, such as lions.
More than just an animal spotting trip, Michael and Nuhu also gave us a unique peek into the cultural aspects of Tanzania, openly sharing about their lives and the tribes around East Africa. We even had the chance to visit a Maasai tribe’s village which was one of the cultural highlights of the trip!
All in all, we are grateful to the Kihindo team for the magical safari experience (at a very affordable price)!

It’s was absolutely amazing !! Everything about the tour!!
We had Nohu who was our guide for a tour and he was absolutely amazing !! He was so knowledgeable about the animals and made sure we saw all the animals we wanted to see. Our visit to the maasai tribe was amazing and felt a very unique experience that everyone should experience!! We stayed for 2 nights and the service in the lodge was outstanding everyone couldn’t do enough for us. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone from start to finish we had an amazing and unforgettable experience!!

Good tour to see chimps
We had a great trip to Gombe to see chimps and do trekking in the rainforest. Airport pick up and drop off was all well organised by Kihindo as well as the boat to and from the park. We could also use the boat to go to differnt parts of the park to improve chances of seeing chimps which was really helpful. The food the chef made was great and he was able to do good vegetarian options too.
In comparison to othet tour operators i found the communication on payment a bit unclear and not as transparent was the only negative.
Also to be aware compared to other safaris there are a lot of people to tip on this trip. As it is already and expensive trip this adds up as there is the guide, the chef, the tracker, the ranger and two boat drivers. This was not a problem as they did great work but just nice to know in advance to plan your budget.

He also provided a lot of information about the animals,
and thanks to him, we spotted many animals, it was amazing.

Wonderful tour with friendly and professional guides
We really enjoyed the tour to Mikumi NP. Well, at first, we needed some courage to take the local train , but all the staffs from Kihindo Safaris helped us to get back and forth safely.
We saw lots of animals, and the tour guide Patrick asked us our favorite animal, which is elephant, and showed us many elephants in the park. Of course other animals too, but it was like I was dreaming :) He explained many things about animals, so we learned a lot of knowledge as well. Patrick knew many interesting things about each animal. We could feel his passion as a tour guide and could see his love to animals. We were happy all through the tour. The weather was also nice, so it was unforgettable moment.
The food in the safari was also great. We enjoyed the food and drink there. It was excellent experience to eat while watching elephants and giraffes.
We thank to Michael, Mesiah, and Patrick . They were so kind and friendly.

Amazing
I went to Khino Safari in Mikumi. This place is a perfect safari for people that don’t want to go to a safari that far. The people working at Safari where very welcome, clean rooms and good service. The Safari went very well with different animals like lion, sebra, elephant, girrafes. The food at the resort was excellent. It’s a pool at the resort and the design at the resort is very Safari and African it was lovely. It was really good activities, i would recommend this Safari to anyone.
