Fantastic experience with all Big Five
It was truly one of the best experiences of our lives.
We saw all the Big Five in 4 days of safari.
A special thanks to our guides, David and Kiva—they were absolutely brilliant.
They were so knowledgeable, answered all our questions, and truly made the whole experience fantastic.

Good safari and excellent driver, but we lost trust in the operator
We did a private safari tour in Tanzania in June 2026 and, in terms of the safari itself, it was a good experience. The lodges were comfortable, the locations matched the program, and before the trip the operator was very responsive and answered all our questions in detail.
Our driver‑guide was excellent: safe driving, very good knowledge of the parks and animal behavior, he really tried to show us as much as possible and adjusted to our wishes. We would gladly recommend him personally.
Unfortunately, our overall impression of the operator is very negative because of what happened with the airport transfer that was included in our package. On the last day nobody came to pick us up for the airport, the operator did not answer our messages, and we had to order a taxi ourselves, wait for about an hour and almost missed our flight (we were only saved by a schedule change).
After the trip I wrote to the operator and explained the situation with the missed transfer in detail, but we never received any reply or apology.
Before this incident we had already recommended this company to several friends, but after such a serious failure and complete lack of reaction we no longer trust this operator and cannot recommend the company to others, even though the safari itself and the driver were very good.
Reply from Migration Venture Africa
Posted on Jun 23, 2026Dear Olya
trust this email finds you well. I'm Amos Lufumbilo, the managing Director of Migration Venture Africa. On behalf of the company, I would like to apologise for all what happened with your drop off on the last day. I was not informed by Francis until I saw your review; that's when I asked the logistics team what happened with your drop-off. The appointed driver for the drop was late and failed to communicate with the office which was unfair and unprofessional. We have taken measures, but I know any apologies won't make the difference since you had a very bad experience with the airport drop-off. We are fine with paying an amount to cover your airport transfer. I have also notified the logistics team about the late response to your email regarding this matter and take measures to them to the late response.
Once again, I apologize for what happened. Also, rest assured that all the clients you recommended will have the best experience; it's the first time we've come across this kind of experience
With Kind Regards
Amos

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Unforgettable 7-Day Safari with the Perfect Guide, Karim
We had an absolutely amazing 7-day safari experience with Migration Venture Africa!
A special thank you goes to our guide, Karim, who made this trip truly unforgettable. He was incredibly reliable, always punctual, caring, and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire journey. Karim has an excellent sense of when guests want privacy and when they are interested in learning more, always giving us the space to enjoy the safari exactly the way we wanted.
His knowledge of wildlife was outstanding. He was exceptional at spotting animals and explaining their behavior, habitats, and characteristics in great detail. Thanks to his expertise and dedication, we were lucky enough to see the Big Five during our safari!
Another huge advantage was having a guide who is also a mechanic. Along the route, Karim was able to assist other travelers who experienced vehicle issues, which gave us even more confidence in his abilities. Combined with his very safe driving style and friendly personality, he was simply the perfect guide.
We would also like to thank Migration Venture Africa for the excellent organization. The booking process was smooth, communication was always quick and uncomplicated, and the itinerary as well as the accommodations exceeded our expectations.
We can highly recommend Migration Venture Africa and especially Karim to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania.
Asante sana, Karim, for an incredible adventure and memories that will last a lifetime!

We recommend Isack as your guide!
We went to Materuni Waterfalls & coffee experience, it was one of my mums favourite parts of being in Tanzania. The boys from the village were lovely, we had a lovely lunch and they sang a song for my sister who couldn't make it to Africa! They were so sweet.
While walking through the village I expressed an interest in plants to our tour guide Isack Ibava, specifically foraging & the uses of plants for medicine. Isack was able to name different plants used for things like tea or teeth-cleaning. He answered all our questions & he has such a vast amount of knowledge on a lot of different topics and told me he is always expanding his knowledge. I would highly reccomend that you ask for Isack to be your guide- he also does Safaris!
Isack is very considerate & even insisted he carry my bag and water and checked to make sure me and my mum were OK while hiking. He went at our pace and waited while we swam in the waterfall :).
Denis was our driver. He took good care of us and waited for us at the car while we were hiking.

Until the end of the savanna - we will meet again
This safari exceeded every expectation. Every moment felt like a scene from a movie.
Huge thanks to our guide Peter. He wasn't just an expert tracker (he spotted lions cuddling in a tree, a leopard's jump into tall grass, and even found a baby lion nursing), but he also became our friends. He carried our luggage, kept us calm when our vehicle got stuck in the mud, and made sure we always had a smile on our face.
If you're looking for a local operator that truly treats you like family – look no further.
Asante sana!

Amazing adventure
My girlfriend and I went on the private 4 day safari visiting Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. We had a great guide, Kareem. He knew all the best spots and we managed to see all the animals we wanted. Ngorongoro was really a highlight! Fantastic scenery. One downside was that the timeline was maybe a bit tight, and one more night in Serengeti would have been good.
Going in February/March was really nice with really green nature and not too many tourists. It rained a lot but we were lucky, so it only rained at night.
Migration Venture felt like a good company and we hade lunch boxes every day and good accommodations. staying over night inside Serengeti was really cool.
One complaint is that the Safari car lacked seat belts in the back seat. During the game drive that was fine but we felt a bit unsafe on the mountain roads and the normal highways outside the natural parks.

Very professional and helpful.
My wife and I signed up for Migration's 8 day safari/Zanzibar and we loved it.
Only caution i would have is to double check with them for any documents like the Zanzibar insurance in hand. I messed up and didnt ask for it, and when we landed I had to cover it out of pocket (thats on me though).
Our driver for the safaris was Alex and he was amazing. He was super professional, gave us plenty of info about the parks and animals and was a highlight of the trip. When we were in the parks, he always got us to the best spots to see the animals and handled any obstacles quickly and professionally.
For Zanzibar, we had Haru, and he was great and professional as well. Even with needing to leave for the airport at 3am on the last day, he was on time and got us to the terminal with plenty of time to spare.
The accommodations they booked were all good and the included food was very good.
Overall we loved our experience with Migration Ventures and we would definitely reccomemd them if you are looking to book a safari.

Very well organised safari with an experienced and knowledgeable guide
We went in 3 persons to a 2day safari in Tarangire and Manyara Lake. We enjoyed every minute of it with our fantastic guide Israel. He was super nice, extremely knowledgeable about the Masai, about the culture and traditions in general, and and about wildlife in the national parks we visited. He went above and beyond to make us happy and take the best experience of the safaris. We spent the night at the Tarangire Inn place, we enjoyed it there too. Totally recommend SafariBookings!
