Knowledgeable and professional
We had an amazing 5-day safari in Tanzania. Our guide, Mkwanda, made us feel safe throughout the entire trip while still getting us incredibly close to the wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hippos. He is an outstanding guide who knows every corner of the parks and always seemed to know exactly where to find even the most elusive animals.
We also really enjoyed our stays at Olea Farm Lodge and Land of Nature. I highly recommend finishing the trip with a stay at Aya Sophia Wildlife Villas—it was a wonderful way to end an unforgettable family adventure.

Best trip I will never forget
Our seven-day African safari was absolutely perfect from start to finish. From the pre-trip arrangements (a big thank you to Florida for always responding to my questions so quickly) to everything after we landed, every detail was exceptionally well organized.
We were incredibly lucky to have the experienced Adam as our guide. On our very first day in the Serengeti, we were fortunate enough to see a leopard, cheetah, serval, lions, and even witnessed a leopard hunt! Our trip to the Northern Serengeti also went smoothly, and we were thrilled to see the Great Migration.
Throughout the entire journey, we had complete confidence in Adam’s expertise. He was incredibly dedicated and professional, making sure we saw all of the Big Five, along with so many wonderful and unexpected surprises along the way.
It was an unforgettable week and a memory I will treasure in my heart for the rest of my life.

A perfect African safari anniversary trip
My husband and I went to Tanzania for our 25th anniversary. We chose Lion King for the numerous 5-star reviews. From the emails and WhatsApp calls to customize our trip to the fantastic team members at the lodges, everything was professionally and courteously handled. Even when we didn’t know if our bank transfer would get there in time, we were reassured by the owner Jim that everything was going to be fine. Our guide Youssef was phenomenal with his friendly demeanour and extensive knowledge of the wildlife. The accommodation was luxurious, comfortable, with great staff and amenities. I would highly recommend them to anyone planning on going to Tanzania. Asante sana Lion King.

Lion King Adventures: The one to trust for your dream safari!
Our group of four highly recommend Lion King Adventures. They were easy to communicate and work with, even helping to arrange activities during our stay in Arusha such as the Maturnuri waterfall activity which we highly recommend and the Arusha city tour. Our Safari Guide named Good Luck is wonderful! You should request him as your guide! He is very experienced, professional and knowledgeable. He is an excellent driver, which is very important on the Safari roads , took the time to explain culture, answer all our questions and worked very hard to make sure that we saw all the animals that we came to see. The abundance of animals we saw was amazing! We saw lots of elephants , giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, warthogs, many others plus lions, cheetahs, a leopard, white rhinos and even a black rhino. We saw three Mara River crossings, which were amazing to watch. We also enjoyed learning about the Masai people and visiting their village. We felt the trip was a good value and also enjoyed the food and accommodations. They were able to accommodate the vegetarian and gluten free persons in our group. We always felt well taken care of and safe . This was an amazing adventure!

Faultless
Lion King and our guide Adam were absolutely faultless. The booking process was seamless and really helpful. Once we arrived we were treated with the best hospitality I have ever experienced. We had an amazing time with Lion King Adventures! From the first message, the communication was easy and quick, and the team was always helpful whenever we had questions.
The whole safari was really well organized, and everything went smoothly. Our guide, Saleh, was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and great at spotting wildlife. He shared so much interesting information throughout the trip and made every game drive enjoyable. We saw so many incredible animals and learned a lot along the way.
One of the things that really stood out to us was the warmth of the people we met. Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming, and you could really see how proud they are of their country, culture, and wildlife. Their passion for sharing Tanzania with visitors made the experience even more special.
Traveling with our 16- and 11-year-olds, we really appreciated how enjoyable and engaging the experience was for the whole family. Saleh was wonderful with the kids, making sure they were involved, answering all of their questions, and helping create memories we’ll all cherish.
I would definitely recommend Lion King Adventures to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania. It was an unforgettable trip, and we’d happily book with them again!

Fantastic, beautifully done
Amazing tour. The guides, Gilbert and Yusuph, were spectacular naturalists, with eagle eyes spotting everything. We saw the entire gamut of animals. They were flexible in accommodating our large group but also gently guided us to preferred times, and encouraging patience when watching animals. They had a great sense of what was going to happen before it did, and often our patience (waiting and watching) was rewarded by novel behaviors. The price was great for our group size and all the camps/hotels easily accommodated our dietary needs. Lion King communicated exceptionally well before the trip and all the pickups/dropoffs were flawless. But the highlight was our two guides, who made the trip so memorable.
