An Unforgettable Experience with Meru Slopes
We had an absolutely incredible experience on our 6-day safari organized by Meru Slopes (6-Day Private Big 5 Mid Range Tour Safari in Tanzania).
From the very beginning, our contact with Jerome Hotti was outstanding. The itinerary was designed quickly and efficiently, and the price was extremely competitive compared to other operators. Communication was excellent throughout the planning process, with very fast responses via WhatsApp and great attention to our questions and requests. We felt confident and reassured from day one.

Upon our arrival, we were promptly picked up by a company driver and transferred to Arusha. Water and soft drinks were provided during the journey, a thoughtful touch that was very much appreciated after a long trip.
The following day, we met Iddy, our guide for the entire safari. What can we say? Simply outstanding. His driving was impeccable, his communication excellent, and he always knew exactly what to say at the right moment. He has extensive knowledge of the parks and wildlife and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible animal sightings. We also appreciated his respect for nature and the environment throughout the trip.
10/10 for our guide!
The accommodations were excellent throughout the safari, but our absolute favorite was the Sightseeing Luxury Tented Lodge. Spending two nights in the heart of the savannah and hearing lions roaring near our tent was a truly unique and unforgettable experience.
Overall, we highly recommend Meru Slopes without hesitation. The organization was flawless, the team was professional and welcoming, and the memories we made will stay with us forever.

Outstanding and very attentive to special requests
MeruSlope provided us with an unforgettable experience and was exceptionally attentive and accommodating when it came to our special requests. We would especially like to thank Leonard, the safari organizer, for putting together such a truly memorable safari.
We opted for the five-day tour starting in Arusha, taking us through Tarangire National Park, the Serengeti National Park — including its somewhat remote northern regions — and the Ngorongoro Crater and its rim. We spent four nights in outstanding, exceptionally comfortable lodges.
We would describe the entire journey as a truly breathtaking experience, not only because of the extraordinary wildlife and the overwhelming beauty and abundance of nature we were able to witness, but also thanks to our driver and guide David. He took us to places where we could observe animals in their natural habitat from much closer than we ever expected and, throughout the entire journey, shared his extensive knowledge and fascinating insights into the local tribes, wildlife, and landscapes with us.
His expertise added so much to the experience as we travelled through landscapes as diverse as the vast plains of the Serengeti, the mountains and volcanoes around Ngorongoro, and the surrounding forests. His knowledge, professionalism, and genuine passion for the region made the safari an unforgettable experience. No question remained unanswered, every wish he fulfilled with passion an pride.
We are extremely grateful for the wonderful memories and would highly recommend this safari experience to anyone looking to discover the incredible beauty and wildlife of Tanzania.

The BEST Tour Operator
Meru Slopes is the real deal. They had everything organized from booking up to my departure from Arusha. Ignas has been very helpful and patient when I was booking the tour, answering all my questions and being transparent about everything - what is feasible to do during the trip, how the camps look like, what I need to bring etc. The package they sent was very clear on details and payment, that you know youre with a good company that has been in this business for more than a decade. Shoutout to Ignas for the extra effort he gave to orienting me the day before the tour and also showing me around Arusha the day after. You're a gem, Ignas!
A major thanks also to Heli, our tour guide and driver who really made sure we were safe, comfortable, and had fun during the whole tour. And we will not forget Yohani, who served us the best meals in the camp (I didn't expect to be served pizza in the bush!)

Outstanding Safari with Meru Slopes!
I highly recommend booking with Meru Slopes Safaris. From start to finish, the service, reliability, and value for money for a mid-range safari were exceptional.
Planning with Gift Tembo was seamless. Communication was quick and easy via both email and WhatsApp, which was great! His flexibility was paramount to our trip; even after flight changes and schedule adjustments, he adjusted our itinerary effortlessly and without complaint, including when I wanted to add a birding adventure directly from the airport at 8am!
Our guide, Ombeni, made the tour itself unforgettable. As avid birdwatchers and wildlife lovers, we greatly appreciated his patience and deep knowledge, whether stopping to check if a bird was an eagle or a vulture, or tracking wildlife. His patience paid off when he positioned us in a prime spot for a Great Migration river crossing. He also found us a male lion having a water buffalo breakfast near our lodge, a kill the lionesses had made the night before right outside.
Every accommodation was lovely, comfortable, and a fantastic value. Meru Slopes delivered a trip that exceeded our highest expectations!

Exceptional Safari Experience with MeruSlope!
I highly recommend MeruSlope Tours and Safari! I initially found our tour itinerary on Safaribookings.com and was connected with our travel coordinator, Gift Tambo. Gift was incredibly accommodating throughout the planning process. When we requested to add a night in the Northern Serengeti to our original itinerary, he arranged it immediately. He even managed a last-minute request for an Arusha City Tour on short notice.
Our guide, Patrick, was exceptionally professional and brought over 10 years of experience to our trip. His eagle eyes spotted so many animals along the way. We saw a huge variety of wildlife, including the Big Five, many types of birds and three different species of mongooses! To top it off, we got to witness the Great Migration in the Northern Serengeti, which was an absolute highlight.

Very well organized and systematic
We had booked a 7 night / 8 days package with meru slopes, the itinerary was very well planned & relaxed. The coordination for veg food as per our request was also very well managed. Our tour included tarangire, ngorongoro crater and serengeti national park. Our tour guide and driver Mr. Moody was very informative and fun. All the accommodation provided was very hygienic & comfortable. The trip stood true to it's value for money. Mr. Leonard from meru slopes was very cooperative and helpful. The service was truly top notch. The entire tour was nothing short of magical & wonderful. You can definitely trust Meru slopes to plan your holiday to Tanzania.
