On our 13-day Kenya and Tanzania African safari, we traveled during high season in August. We’re experienced frequent travelers from the USA.
The sales team, led by William, provided exceptional customer service. Charles Kataro, the Kenya country manager, personally met with us on the morning of our trip from Nairobi to send us off.
During our trip, we had three different driver/guides as we traveled from Kenya to Tanzania and back to Kenya. Since the game drive park guides must be properly licensed in their respective countries, we had to switch guides at each country border.
From the perspective of the delivery team, the style and personality of the driver/guide make a significant difference. Our standout guide is Thadey Anthony, our Tanzania guide. If you go to Tanzania, request for him. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the animals and the park roads we’re traveling on. He’s also very efficient in optimizing our game drives, ensuring that we get to see and experience the wildlife in each area that we visit. He has eagle eyes and has a great talent for spotting hard to find animals like the lions, cheetahs and leopards. On four distinct occasions, we were the only vehicle on the spot and after we leave, he shares the locations to other guides as we encounter them. We were able to enjoy the viewing the wildlife quietly and without competing for space with the other vehicles. What’s more, he’s punctual and never keeps us waiting. He’s also very accommodating, always adjusting to our schedule rather than the other way around. He’s been a pleasure to have as our guide during our trip, and the perfect fit for our needs.

Exceptional safari experience with Hassani
Our 5-day safari was an incredible experience from beginning to end! The organisation was excellent, starting with Norah, who was very helpful and professional throughout the planning of the trip.
Our guide, Hassan, truly made the safari special. Thanks to his impressive knowledge of the area, wildlife, and plants, we were able to experience some unforgettable moments, including witnessing the wildebeest migration and seeing an incredible variety of animals such as cheetahs, leopards, lions, hippos, rhinos, and many others.
Hassan was extremely patient and always took the time to find those special wildlife moments. His knowledge and passion were clear, and he also drove very safely, which made us feel comfortable throughout the entire trip.
The lodges were great as well, with beautiful locations, comfortable rooms, and excellent service.

An Unforgettable Safari with Gosheni Safaris
We had an absolutely incredible experience with Gosheni Safaris — truly a trip of a lifetime!
A huge thank you to Norah for the excellent organization and for suggesting an itinerary that we absolutely loved. Everything was very well planned, and the choice and quality of the lodges were fantastic. We had the chance to enjoy some breathtaking sunrises and sunsets from the lodges, which made the experience even more special.
Our safari was made unforgettable thanks to our guide, Hassani. From the very first day, we were incredibly lucky to witness three wildebeest migrations with zebras, and it only got better from there. We experienced so many incredible moments, including a lion hunt, and we were fortunate enough to see all of the Big Five!
Hassani was an excellent driver, extremely knowledgeable, and always attentive to what we wanted to see. We really appreciated his flexibility and his ability to adapt the game drives according to the wildlife and our wishes. His experience clearly made a huge difference in the quality of our safari.
From the incredible landscapes and wildlife to the beautiful lodges and the exceptional service, everything exceeded our expectations.

An incredible safari experience with Hassani!
This was our first safari experience, and we’re so grateful for the incredible 10-day Tanzania adventure with Hassani!
Hassani is an experienced and knowledgeable guide who knows the parks extremely well. He knew where to find the animals we wanted to see, and thanks to his expertise, we were able to see the Big Five and experience the Great Migration twice!
One crossing required a six-hour wait, while the second was already happening when we arrived—what an incredible blessing! Hassani also shared so much interesting knowledge about the animals and their behaviors throughout the trip, making the experience even more enjoyable.
A big thank you to Herman as well for being so responsive and for helping us customize our itinerary. Adding an extra day in the Northern Serengeti gave us more chances to see the Great Migration, and it was absolutely worth it!
We highly recommend Gosheni Safaris to anyone looking for a trustworthy and professional safari company. We had an unforgettable experience and created memories we’ll cherish for a lifetime!

Breathtaking safari experience with Huruma
Our safari with Gosheni was truly one of the most unforgettable experiences of our lives. We had an absolutely fantastic week, and that was largely thanks to our incredible guide, Huruma.
From the very first moment, Huruma made sure everything was perfect. With more than 20 years of experience as a guide, his knowledge of the wildlife, nature, and local stories was simply outstanding. Every game drive was fascinating, and we learned so much while creating memories that will stay with us forever.
We were amazed by the number of animals we saw. We spent long days out in the bush, from early morning until evening, and every single moment was enjoyable. One thing that made Huruma so special was his ability to create the perfect atmosphere. Sometimes we would simply sit in silence, taking in the breathtaking landscapes and watching the wildlife, and it never felt awkward. Other times, he would share fascinating stories, explain animal behavior, or answer every question with incredible passion and expertise.
Huruma has a rare gift: he knows exactly when to let nature speak for itself and when to enrich the experience with his knowledge and sense of humor. His professionalism, kindness, and genuine enthusiasm made this safari far more than just a trip—it became a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Also the accommodations were amazing and well-picked for our 7-Days safari tour to see as much as possible from this beautiful tanzania. Also the communication and service with and by gosheni was excellent, from the first request to arriving in tanzania.
We cannot recommend Gosheni highly enough, and if you have the chance to go on safari with Huruma, consider yourself very lucky. He is truly the best guide we could have wished for. Thank you for giving us a week we will never, ever forget!
Excellent First Safari
We had an excellent experience with Gosheni Safaris for our first safari trip. From the outset, Norah was wonderful to work with in planning our trip. She answered our (many, many) questions patiently, helped us find the right fit for our itinerary and was clear and upfront about pricing. The vendors and hotels she chose for us were excellent, especially the balloon company in the Serengeti. Our guide, Hassan, was an excellent spotter. He knew exactly where to look and how to position our car for the best view. He made sure we saw everything we wanted to see and was very skilled at getting us a bit off the beaten path and away from the crowds, even in high season. Unfortunately, we never got the opportunity to do a proper sundowner but all in all, a wonderful trip.
