The real African wilderness north of Jo-burg
For the second time a perfect safari experience with Tailor Made Safaris. Two years ago we went to the east coast, this time we drove north of Johannesburg towards the Botswana and Zimbabwe borders. Well-equipped with our tailor made self-drive pack we visited the Black Rhino Game Reserve near Pilanesberg National Park, Madikwe Game Reserve, Kololo Game Reserve, the Mogalakwena River Lodge, Leshiba Wilderness Game Reserve, Kruger National Park and the Panoramaroute. A lot of safari parks we thought in the beginning. But it appeared to be a perfect mix of parks in which each park had it's own attractions and charme. Of course we saw a lot of game (we only missed a leopard, but that was by far compensated by cheeta's, wild dogs, lions, etc.). But the different types of landscapes and various atmospheres of the lodges made every park a new experience. The main strength of the concept of Tailor Made Safaris is that the parks are not located too far away from each other. It took us about half a day to drive from one park to the next and we stayed at least two or three days in each park, so we had the feeling to really get acquainted to each park. We had an unforgettable holiday and are looking forward to our next African dream. Most probably again organised by Tailor Made Safari´s. The big question remains the destination: Namibia, Botswana?

A perfect journey, which was organised in an excelent way
Everything was organised very well. Before the trip we received a beautiful photo book with our complete trip. With information of all locations. GPS coordinates, tips for shopping ,eating etc. And also TomTom and phone with prepaid card. All locations and game drives were very nice and well organised. Unfortunately our flight was delayed for two days, the late arrival was also handled very well.
I recommend to use tailor made for organising your african holiday.

Tailor Made Safaris brought us beautiful accommodations and a nice program during our stay in SA
Tailor Made Safaris made us a beautiful tour through the East coast of South Africa, starting in Johannesburg, Drakensbergen, Imfolozi, St Lucia, Kosi Bay, Mozambique, Tembe and Swaziland. All accommodations were beautiful and on beautiful places. A GPS system and a nice travelbook helped us to get where we wanted. We could always rely on the help of our travel assistant during our trip due to the telephone in our travel package. We really enjoyed our tailor made trip.

We had a wonderful 3 weeks in SouthAfrica. TailorMadeSafaris was very helpful in translating our wishes for our family (with 3 children) to a variated programm that brought us all sides of SouthAfrica. Wildlife, spectacular views, local life, and friendly people everywhere.

Trip of a lifetime
This was one of the greatest experiences of my life. My husband and I have traveled all over the world, this by far was the most organized and humble company to work with. The attention to detail surprised me everyday and left my husband and I often bragging about what a wonderful company we booked with to other travelers we met along the way.

The best experiences ever! Mind blowing
We had a fantastic selfdrive journey to South Africa. We went for 4 weeks to Capetown, Gardenroute, ElephantCoast and Drakensbergen.
The organistion was super. If we had a question Angela was always there for us.
The nature, people,animals and the accommodations were amazing.

Awesome custom made holiday in South Africa
The staff and the communications were excellent. Everything was prepared for us to make our journey as smooth as possible like a cell phone with a South African SIM, navigation with all locations on forehand programmed and a book that included everything we needed to know.
Even if we know it would be great it was even better. The locations they picked for us were superb.
The locations varied from lowland safari game, mountainous game drives to the Drakensbergen including great guides and awesome wildlife.

Every day we talk about our holiday to South Africa super organised by Tailor Made Safaris. Hartwarming, surprising accomodations made us feel very welcome. Our personal guidebook showed us our choices what to expect that day and possible variations to make. At any time or any question we contacted our personal quide from T M S and received quick a good answer. Recommended by T M S to travel in this order, every day was more spectacular! the guides of the game drives introduced us in the colorful world of flora and fauna with patience and humor. After admiring and taking enough photo's he continued churching other wild life.
Our holiday was a time of discovering, admiring a new continent,driving to see the variety of landscapes in a relaxed way. Tailor Made Safaris listens very well to the desires you have and organises very carefull a relaxed holiday to make all your dreams come true.

When can we go again, please?
TMS was excellent in their communications, service and information. The book they send us before departure was perfect and gave us a lot of information to prepare our trip. It was nice to have a good GPS and cellphone during our trip. Seen a lot of the beautiful nature of SA and we didn't have to sit in the car for days and days!
