A once in a life time adventure
5/5

Four of us took a 16 days safari trip with B2C and had a wonderful experience! We visited Masai Mara, Central Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, Amboseli and Lake Nakuru. It was a dream vacation for us. We stayed at luxurious tents/lodges and the food and service was great! We had three guides during the trip and they were all very knowledgeable and hard working. We were able to see the river crossing, flamingos, let alone countless of lions, elephants, and etc. I highly recommend B2C for Safari trips.

Right On
5/5

I looked around the internet to find a good tour. From the beginning Jackson (owner) worked with me to put together the perfect trip. 4 parks in 10 days, 4 different lodges. He was always available for questions and we made several changes along the way. The trip turned out perfect and the guide wonderful. The lodges got nicer and nicer, the food better and better as we went. The game drives always produced a diversity of sightings and Nixon the guide had a lot of knowledge and experience. We definitely picked the right company. Everybody involved was wonderful and helpful.

Amazing African Adventure!
5/5

My wife and I talked about going to Africa over 25 years ago. It was one of those "what do you want to do before we have kids"? conversations. Well, life happens, and we never did it. For our 25th anniversary, I wanted surprise her and my now 13 year old son with a trip of a lifetime. I fly a lot so the airfare wasn't a problem, but I needed an expert to help me sort out all the differing opinions, provide local guidance and knowledge, and generally help me focus on what was important and what sounded good on paper but likely wouldn't be worth doing.

I stumbled on Bush2City through this web site, and feel like I struck gold. I was a total over-planning, paranoid pain in the ass , but Maliwaza Kazimoto could not have been more pleasant, patient and knowledgeable. She helped rework the trip 10 times, literally, to accommodate our flights, limitations and requests. She asked the right questions to help refine what we really needed to do, and gave us multiple options and costs so I could make informed decisions.

The camps that she recommended were amazing. We use the word 'tent', but it's not what you think. They are tents with zippers, but that's only so you get closer to the animals and nature. I'm not sure I've ever slept that well, even when a hippo woke us up eating his midnight snack 20 feet from where we were sleeping. Maliwaza suggested that we bring earplugs so we didn't get disturbed, but the sound of crickets and frogs at night touch something very deep inside us, and we all felt incredibly comfortable and relaxed. In fact the only disappointing camp was the 'fancy' one that she picked for us, a cabin instead of a tent. After over a week in the bush, we felt somehow isolated and slightly sad by the cabin. I was much happier the next night when we were able to watch zebras 10 feet from our tent, and sip coffee while watching them graze and play. The staff at the camps are amazing. The smiles and level of care is better than anything I've experienced anywhere in the world. These are genuinely nice people who want you to love their country, and it shows.

The guides that work with Maliwaza are top notch. We had Charles for a few days in Maasai Mara, and he was skilled at finding the animals, friendly and a good driver. He asked my son what he really wanted to see and said "OK, tomorrow is Cheetah day". We saw 4! It's not a zoo, but Charles knew where to look, was tireless in his efforts, and we really saw a ton of wildlife before flying out on a soggy early morning for Serengeti. Charles had to reroute due to closed roads, and he was a Superman in navigating those treacherous roads and finding the right airstrip.

We were met after our flight by Aziz. Aziz works directly with Maliwaza, and is a total rock star. Polite, skilled in driving and knowledge of the area, and a smooth operator. He helped us navigate not only the roads, but also gave us guidance on what to pay, how to work with locals, and had a charming personality and a quick sense of humor. We were genuinely disappointed on those nights when he was not able to join us for dinner. We really felt like Aziz cared about us, and worked his ass off to finally get us the final 'Big 5', the rhino in Ngorongoro. That was an impossible feat, but he did it. We had daily rain that turned the roads into sticky muck, but we saved one couple who lost a wheel, 2 different turtles who undoubtedly would have been speed bumps, and offered assistance any time he could. We got ourselves stuck but Aziz took off his shoes, jumped out and got us pulled out within minutes. I'm sure a lot of that good will from the other drivers was because he had helped them too.

Even after we left for home, Maliwaza and Aziz texted to make sure we made our flight and arrived him safely. They didn't have to , but it sure felt nice.

I'm not sure when or if we'll be able to come back, but I know 100% who I'll use if we do. I know there are a lot of outstanding tour operators, but I felt that the value at B2C is top notch and worth ever penny I spent. Can't ask for more than that.

B2C was responsive, reliable and we got exactly what we expected !
5/5

We are a family of 5 (children 10, 11 & 13) - and just returned from a private 12 day safari with Bush2City. We travelled through Kenya and Tanzania (Lake Naivasha, Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Amboseli). Everything was managed perfectly (thanks Jackson). All transfers & connections were on time and all accommodation was exactly as planned - making the trip that much easier to enjoy. The guides were friendly, fun and knowledgeable. Special shout-out to Dan on our initial Kenyan leg - who was great and the perfect start to our journey. Aziz and Udis were equally great at navigating the weather and finding us the animals and adventure.

Can also recommend this as a family holiday. We stayed in lodges (rather than tented camps) and that suited us well. The chance to see animals and nature of this kind is unique. I'm sure the children learnt more on this trip than a typical beach holiday -with many stories to tell - elephants, hippos, baboons, lions, cheetahs, dik diks, maasai culture ......

As for a tour group - we can certainly recommend Bush2City as someone to go with. They are based Tanzania and privately owned. Big enough with experience to provide the right service, but small enough to want to care and look after you. They were very responsive when we were planning and very reliable when it came to the actual trip. Top marks for B2C !

Trip of a lifetime
5/5

The holiday was a trip of a lifetime, truly incredible. I fully appreciate how difficult it is for bush 2 city to organise all component parts, e.g. vehicle, driver, direction of travel, location of petrol stations, park permits including timings, activities, hotels etc…. We had 2 hotels let us down at the last minute (3 weeks before travelling) but Maliwaza persevered to find us alternative accommodation which is not easy for all the reasons I have detailed. The driver Nicxon was amazing, he took great pride in trying to find quiet secluded spots in the parks and wanted to find the best sightings he could for us. February was a great month to go as it was relatively quiet, I.e. a lot of the time only us viewing animals and we only had 4 short rain showers which didn’t affect anything. Everyone is incredibly friendly and welcoming, the landscapes are all so different and breathtaking. We will definitely return!

Best Trip EVER
5/5

This REALLY was the best trip I've ever taken. I've traveled a lot. We took the comfort safari trip and that made a lot of the trip very relaxing. I think the travel guides were good, especially the one in Tanzania. We went to Kenya first and then to Tanzania. We saw tons of animals, made stops for souvenirs, and went to museums. Everything was done for us. It was perfect. I'm thinking of asking my grown children and their kids to go with me when I book another safari trip, and we will definitely use Bush2City Adventure for the trip.

Charming, helpful, patient and attentive - we couldn't have asked for better!
5/5

Maliwaza at Bush 2 City helped us plan our first trip to Tanzania for our honeymoon, and it was truly the adventure of a lifetime (and we both travel quite a lot!). She was patient and detailed throughout the process and we loved working with her. She helped us accommodate all our requests, including a fantastic hot air balloon experience over Ndutu.

Our itinerary was Arusha > Tarangire > Serengeti (2 days) > Ndutu > Ngorongoro and we loved every minute. Our charming guide and masterful driver was Hussein, who soon became a friend; he is so knowledgeable about each park and all its animals, an incredible spotter, and generally wonderful company through the long drives - we hope to see more of Tanzania with him in the future!

Of the lodges we stayed at, our favorites were the Melia Arusha, the Melia Serengeti, the Serena Lodge Ngorongoro (best view ever) and the Escarpment Lodge in Tarangire (favorite of all!). All had out of this world views, great service, and were very comfortable. As vegetarians we were worried about meals, and each location really tried their best to accommodate our requests.

Most importantly - the safari. We had some absolutely incredible sightings, from a just born giraffe, to 2 lion cubs just a couple weeks old, more lions than we could count, and cheetahs up close. It was unbelievable, and going in early March also meant we saw the great migration, many young, and enjoyed the parks when they were far less busy. We have only been back home 5 days and are already trying to see when we can return - it felt like something right out of a movie. Huge thank you to Maliwaza and Hussein!

We had just a wonderful time! Jackson was very knowledgeable about climbing Kilimanjaro's various routes and its geology and wildlife. I also felt very safe and taken care of. All of our needs were planned for, so we just enjoyed our time climbing, exploring, eating and sleeping comfortably! I highly recommend this adventure!
