A wonderful private tour through a safari park with transfer and catering.
While the other tourists were driven through the park in overcrowded vehicles, I received private service and had three companions: a driver, a guide, and an escort who accompanied me the entire way from Dar es Salaam by train and taxi. This travel experience was absolutely fantastic. The local tour guide and the overall arrangements were very comfortable. The train carriage we took was business class, which was very spacious and felt just like China's high-speed trains. Additionally, complimentary meals were served on the train. The most important part, though, was that during the safari in the park, we saw a great number of giraffes, herds of elephants, three lions resting in the shade, and a large group of warthogs and African buffaloes. The driver and the guide were both excellent, and their explanations were very informative. It was such a great experience, and I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Good and professionally booked tour
We were picked up promptly around 5 a.m. from our hotel to visit Mikumi Game Park. Our guide, Mohamed, was with us throughout the entire day until we checked back into the hotel around 10 p.m. Additionally, we took a trip to Nakupenda Sand Island in Zanzibar, where we were also picked up on time at 6 a.m. and taken to the ferry. We had a wonderful time exploring Zanzibar and our driver met us when we returned to Dar es Salaam.

Mikumi is beautiful and rural, the national park was green, lush and offered a great variaty of wild life! The size of the park made it easy and pleasant to explore in a day.

The accommation was clean, spaceous, had everything you would need and were placed in a quite area with green land and a few houses surrounding. Kind Adalina kept the camp nice and need.
Remind yourself this is Tanzania and hold back on compairing to european standards. Things seem unorganized and runs on african time. But keep open, and you will find kind people and a beautiful nature.
I will forever be thankful these experiences I have had with the team from Mwangaza safaris.
