Unforgettable safari at Masai Mara National Reserve & Hike to Mt. Lonngonot
We've been on a 3-day trip to Masai Mara National Reserve & Mount Longonot. Our tour guide Dennis was very kind and made a huge effort to give us a really great experience! He made sure we could see as many different animals as possible and shared a lot of facts and knowledge about the animals with us. As a huge cat fan, I almost cried while facing lions, cheetahs and even a leopard. We saw a lot of things and had a whole adventure, especially because it rained when we started our first Safari trip. The roads were a bit bumpy from time to time and we got covered in mud, but as scouts we didn't care, we actually rather enjoyed it. We even got stuck in the mud two times, but there were many helpful people there to pul us out. A whole adventure!! Also the boat safari at Lake Naivashi was great.
For the Hike to Mount Longonot we had a different guide, Daniel, who took real good care of us, especially because I was suffering from dizzines, but he would keep encouraging me so I could finish the hike around the crater.
After the hike Dennis made sure we could take a shower before bringing us to the airport safely through rush hour. Asante sana!!! It was a real pleasure!

Knowledgeable, engaging, and considerate
Raheem at Jocky Tours made our last minute safari trip one of the best ideas we have ever had. He was thoughtful, knowledgeable and we learned and saw so much on our safari to Amboseli. He knew exactly where all the animals would be and planned the timings and safari in such a way that we would be at the right place at the right time. He put in extra effort to make sure we were comfortable and engaged us with interesting facts throughout the trip. He was also very patient with the million questions we asked. The safari camp we stayed at (arranged by Jocky) was also great.
I would highly recommend Raheem at Jocky Tours if you are looking for a fantastic safari getaway.

Extremely accommodating, friendly and high knowledge of wildlife and Kenya.
Unforgettable experience with Jocky Tours! We were happy all around with our guide, the stays and the program. Our guide, Dennoh, was able to answer all of our questions and provided us with ample information about the wildlife and culture of Kenya. He was also extremely accommodating to our requests. We saw 4 of the Big Fives in the Maasai Mara Park (no Rhino - rather rare in the Maasai Mara Park).
We booked a tailor made 3 day tour with Jocky Tours. 2 day safari in Maasai Mara Park, a boat trip on Lake Naivasha and at the end a hike on Mount Longonot. Price/performance ratio was great!
jfyi: for 5 star resorts darlings not the best stay in Maasai Mara Park.

Did their utmost!
Our driver Evans had a great service attitude! He was also in contact with other safari driver to find the animal. We even managed to see the rhino, even if it was briefly, as they are reclusive.
Evans also has very sharp and practiced eyes of his own; managed to notice what little was visible of a shaded cheetah and it's catch.
The use of a Land Cruiser instead of a van was also good in getting to some of the places.

Unforgettable Safari Adventure with the Best Guide - Jimmy!
I have spent the last day’s on an unforgettable safari adventure to Masai Mara. From start to finish, our experience was absolutely amazing, and it was all due to Jimmy's exceptional skills, knowledge, and genuine passion for the wildlife. Throughout the trip, he shared fascinating insights about the animals, their behaviors, and the unique ecosystem of the Masai Mara. His knowledge and experience were truly impressive, and we learned so much during our time with him.
It felt like we were on a magical wildlife treasure hunt, as we were able to see many various species and Jimmy was always quick on any leads to come close to the Big Fives!

Discovering the Mara with Jimmy
Jimmy was a great driver and guide! We booked a private safari on a 4x4 Jeep which was the best call. We could tailor our experience to our needs and even on the most difficult terrain we were flying over any obstacles. Jimmy made sure all our needs were met and looked after us during our three day tour which is more then enough for most adventurous travelers.

It not just professional, but also helpful and efficient support for my whole trip in Kenya.
I'm in a 5-guy safari, and we had a good time. I havon a 5-guy safari, and we had a good time, so much fun! I have to say, my driver, Kikitu is brilliant. Such a lovely guy, also totally a celebrity in the Masai village. He gots tons of knowledge of animals, culture and bad jokes (lol). I'm so lucky to have him as my very first-time safari guide. I will definitely choose him again in my future safari if it's possible.

great company for last minute trip - solo travelers
Jockey customized my tour for me on a days' notice. I stayed at Jambo Mara Lodge and LOVED IT! Jimmy, our driver was awesome and made sure we saw all the animals you can expect to see in Kenya (Rhinos, Hippos, Lions, Leopards, Elephants, Giraffes, crocs, etc). The guides communicate a lot in the radio. Once one of them finds a certain animal (lions, leopards, hyenas, etc) they are able to tell each other where to go, so everyone gets to see it. This makes it a bit crowded around the felines (lots of cars circling them - a bit disappointing to me). I also went to Masai Mara on low season (rainy days) and various groups were driving little mini-vans and getting stuck on mud. We never got stuck and also ended up helping others to be "un-stuck". The camaraderie between the guides was cool. Lake Nakuru was nicer to me. The radio was kept off and we just drove around finding the animal on our own. Jimmy was really good at spotting them, even from far. It was much nicer, quiet and enjoyable being pretty much the only ones around some of those magnificent creatures.

Dickson was absolutely amazing. He was kind, knowledgable of the park, and fun to ride with!
My boyfriend and I did a 3d/2n private Masai Mara Safari tour. We threw together this trip last minute and received helpful and quick responses to our emails ([email protected]). Our tour guide was Dickson, and we can’t stop talking about him, he was amazing!! He was always very kind, helpful, knowledgeable of the park (and where to go to see specific animals)! We really enjoyed our conversations and time spent with Dickson…you’d be lucky to have him as your guide :)
The 4.5-5 hour drive over to the Mara wasn’t bad as we stopped at shops and the scenery in Kenya is immaculate. Once we arrived we went on a 2.5 hr game drive where we saw zebras, giraffes, buffalo, lions, and even a cheetah! The following day we were on a drive from 6:45am-4pm. This day was absolutely amazing. We saw every animal possible besides a rhino, two lion kills, and a bunch of elephants. Even with the rainfall in the afternoon we were able to see a bunch of stuff! Overall, we are extremely happy with our decision on Jocky Safaris…when you book ask for Dickson :)
