Midrange package tour
Two months before our trip, I made the query to jocky tours related to the package tours, costs, options, suggestions and adjustments. It was handled seamlessly by maureen and the back office team. All information and answers where provided fast and on time. I paid for the reservation online 100USD for our group of 4. The link sent by their team is secured, and I did not encounter any error. Once I sent the payment confirmation, all is booked and reserved.
The day of the start of the tour, we where picked up by Papa John who will be our designated driver for the entire trip. We where led to pay the full amount to their small office in Nairobi. Their office is in the 2nd floor, and you will be met by 2-4 people in the office. You will be chose to pay either cc or in cash as per agreement.
The travel to/fro nairobi- Maasai mara- nakuru- airport is around 3-7hrs . It was bumpy, and felt quite long, a lot of dust so be prepared if you have allergies. Be prepared to bring chips, crackers along the way, because lunch will be in the designated hotel upon arrival for the nairobi to masai mara (morning trip).
Our game drive was fun and bumpy with a lot of excitement. We saw the big 5 (the leopard we only saw thru the hit air balloon). The hot air balloon was a surreal experience, expensive but worth it. It was arrange by the team and Papa John.
Our designated driver Papa john is highly recommended. He is nice, has a lot of knowledge about the animals and the area, most importantly drives safe from start till the end of the trip.
Overall it was exceptional except for the long drives although expected as per chosen tour. Thanks for Papa John and the team of jocky tours for a job very well done!

Professional and well recommended!
We booked the mid-range package with Jocky Tours and it truly exceeded our expectations. Both hotels: Jambo Mara and Sarova Woodlands, were excellent in terms of comfort, cleanliness, and service. The food throughout the trip was consistently delicious and well prepared.
Our guide and driver, Papa John, was outstanding in every aspect. He was knowledgeable, experienced, patient and made sure we enjoyed every moment of the safari.
His ability to spot wildlife, explain animal behavior, and navigate the parks safely added so much value to the experience.
Overall, the entire trip was seamless, memorable and absolutely worth it. Highly recommended!

A great and complete tour :)
Starting with the driver who picked us up from our hotel, everything was great. He couldn't find our location and called us several times until he did (our accommodation was a bit hidden). The staff at the office were very helpful and friendly; Helen treated us wonderfully from the moment we started asking for a quote for the safari dates we wanted. As for the accommodation... I LOVED IT! Two nights in a "tent" with a super-sized double bed and a full bathroom made of stone with 24-hour hot water. The electricity is available during two time slots (morning and afternoon), but it's more than enough to charge devices and turn on the lights. The food was delicious, varied, and plentiful since it's a buffet. There were always eggs, meat, vegetables, rice, legumes, and fruit. The transport was perfect, a 4x4 with an open roof, although sometimes there wasn't enough space for backpacks, and on the way back we had to carry them, which made it difficult to fully enjoy Naukuru. Our guide, Papa John, explained everything about the animals very well, but we did miss him explaining what we would be doing each day, since in our case there were four people who weren't staying at the same accommodation, and sometimes we weren't sure what was going on. But it was a minor issue, as he answered all our questions. So overall, everything was very good value for money. Regarding the animals, we were able to see the Big Five in four days of safari, as well as many others. We were surprised that we saw so many.

Our guide tour Papa John vas great explaining all the details as we see the animals and making sure everything was good for everyone. Better than expected, I would book again.

The tour was great, we saw everything we wanted, we lived in good conditions, we didn't get sick, we didn't get food poisoning. We are satisfied with everything.

Very good guide who knew a lot about the park and the animals!
I had a fantastic safari experience in the Masai Mara with our guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife, very welcoming, and made the entire trip both safe and exciting. We got to see all of the Big Five, learned a lot about the nature and local culture, and the trip was very good. Highly recommended!

Very reliable and professional
My partner and I did the 7 day Masai Mara/Nakuru/ Naivasha and Amboseli shared tour. Our first guide was Kush. He made our tour of the Masai Mara amazing. He had so much patience for our never ending questions. I wanted to see certain prides of lions and he made it happen. We also got to see tiny lion cubs which was just amazing. He really did make our time in the Masai Mara amazing. We always felt safe and well informed. Our next guide was Dennis. We did Nakuru/ Naivasha and Amboseli with Dennis. He was another great guide. The amount of driving he did as astonishing. He was a great driver is some very questionable roads. He also made sure we had plenty of time to see all animals and birds we wanted too. He made sure the was plenty of toilet breaks. Which is really important when you are in a land cruiser for hours. The accommodation was better than expected for budget accommodation and the food was good if a bit repetitive. I would most definitely recommend Jocky Tours. Both Kush and Dennis made our safari amazing. Really can't thank Dennis and Kush enough.

Amazing once in a lifetime experience
I did a 7 day safari with jocky tours and it was 1st class . We had 2 tour guides during our trip kush and Dennis both of whom were exceptional they bent over backwards so we could see all the animals plenty of drink and washroom stops both very knowledgeable and professional. They both played i big role in a very successful and enjoyable tour . The accommodation was better than I expected the food was of good quality if somewhat repetitive .
Overall I found the tour to be very good value for money and would highly recommend to anyone considering doing jocky tours

The operator and Tour guide Ken were awesome. They managed everything so well. If I ever visit Masai Mara I would definitely book through them. It’s been a pleasure. I had spent the best 2 days of my life in Masai Mara.
