Amazing safari experience
5/5

Great value for the price — truly exceeded expectations. Our guide Lorenz was a real professional, very knowledgeable, and always respectful of safari rules, which made the whole experience feel safe and authentic.

Plenty of water was provided (huge plus 😄), and we could stop for the toilet whenever needed. Overall, a very comfortable, well-organized, and enjoyable safari. Highly recommend!

Amazing
5/5

This safari exceeded all my expectations. After dreaming about going on a safari for so many years, this trip truly made those dreams come true.
We had a wonderful week visiting Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, and Amboseli. Each park was unique and offered incredible wildlife experiences. We were lucky enough to see an amazing variety of animals, including lions (even hunting and eating), cheetahs, a leopard, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes, crocodiles, hippos, large herds of elephants, and both black and white rhinos — completing the Big Five.
A special mention goes to our guide, Johny Jackson. His knowledge of the animals, the parks, and nature was impressive, and he always knew exactly where to go for the best sightings. He was also an excellent and very safe driver, which made the long drives between the parks comfortable and relaxing.
We stayed in budget accommodations, which pleasantly surprised us by offering more comfort and quality than we expected.
If there is one small point for improvement, it would be the planning of the Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha visits. Although both destinations were beautiful, we returned quite early on those days and felt we could have used the time more efficiently.
Overall, this was an unforgettable experience and without a doubt my best safari ever. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone considering a safari.

A truly wonderful safari with Laurence – professional, patient and genuinely caring
5/5

We were incredibly lucky to have Laurence as one of our guides in the Maasai Mara, and he made our experience just as special.
From the very beginning, Laurence stood out for his calm, professional and reassuring approach. He is extremely patient and never makes you feel rushed – whether you are trying to get the perfect photo, asking questions, or simply enjoying the moment in silence while watching the animals.
His knowledge of wildlife and the park is excellent, and what we really appreciated was the way he explains things in a clear and simple but very interesting way. You can tell he has deep experience in the Mara and a real understanding of animal behaviour, not just where to find them.
Laurence is also a very careful and respectful driver. He clearly puts the wellbeing of the animals first and always positions the vehicle thoughtfully, giving everyone enough time and space to fully enjoy each sighting.
On a personal level, he is extremely nice, gentle and easy to talk to. His patience, kindness and positive attitude created a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere throughout the drives. It felt like being guided by someone who truly cares about your experience, not just doing a job.
If you are looking for a guide who is:
highly professional,
genuinely patient,
respectful of nature and guests,
and simply a very nice person to spend your safari with,
Laurence is an excellent choice.
He helped make our Maasai Mara experience smooth, enjoyable and memorable, and I would happily recommend him to anyone looking for a high-quality, stress-free and meaningful safari experience.

Efficient and communicated well, ensuring our trip ran smoothly
5/5

I joined a fantastic safari in the Mara with David Mukami as my guide. He was attentive and knowledgeable, happily sharing fascinating facts about the animals we saw and always willing to answer questions.

David had an excellent connection with other safari guides and coordinated with them to ensure I was able to see as much wildlife as possible, including some incredible live action such as a cheetah hunt and lions and lionesses enjoying a meal. We also saw chubby hippos and snappy crocodiles, among many other animals.

David’s cheerful and funny nature made the long safari light-hearted and very enjoyable.

The tour operator David works for was also efficient and communicated well, ensuring our trip ran smoothly from the initial booking in London to being on site at the wonderful Jambo Mara Lodge. Everything was well thought out, from the catering at our accommodation—which was absolutely delicious—to the tasty packed lunches provided for our days out in the wild.

I would highly recommend David and his team for future safari tours.

Best days of our lives!
5/5

Absolutely amazing and best tour! We Got to see so many animals at Maasai Mara! We slept in tents in the first two night while we were there, and there was not much to it, but we were out driving all day and basically just slept and ate there, so it didn’t really matter that much - but if you are more into luxury, I would pick another tour, because it is just really simple, but the beds were clean and a toilet and shower in the tent. The last night we slept in the hotel, and that was a really nice and clean experience, and the standard was just better here. We had Dickson as our driver and he was just amazing and very kind, so immediately we felt very safe. He answered all questions we had, and had so much knowledge about the animals. I can highly recommend Dickson as your tour guide!

Very nice guide for great time
5/5

We booked a 3 day tour from Nairobi to Masai Mara. Everything was well organized and went as planned. Robert is a good driver and the safari was exceptional. He is very good at his job: we saw the "big 5" in one day and particularly a leopard, lions and cheetas from very close, and many elephants, hippos, and many more. Overall we had an amazing time.

Wonderful safari trip
5/5

As the title says, it’s been a really great experience.

We have had really good and easy-going guides Joshua and his intern Alvin.

He was proactive in explaining about the wildlife and also about Kenyan culture. He was always kind and helpful with anything.

About the trip itself:
Maasai Mara was the best part of the whole package. Honestly, we recommend to prolong the stay in Maasai Mara by one day - because it’s just stunning. We’ve seen all the animals from the so-called “big five” in unique situations and plenty other animals.

Rest of the trip was also nice, it had different vibes than Maasai Mara, so it was not seeing the same all over again.

One little negative of the trip overall in Kenya is whenever you pass by any tourist shop or locals, they try to sell you whatever they have, often in a very pushy way. First few days it was ok, but later on it became really annoying. Also, from our point of view, the souvenirs were quite expensive.

If you are still deciding about this trip - your answer should be yes! It was absolutely worth it and we would recommend it to anyone!

Amazing! Every penny well spent on this provider, always cared for and left extremely happy!
5/5

The tour review: we got very lucky with our driver Jose, he was simply amazing. The kindest and most knowledgeable man we met on this entire trip. For the whole 5 days of driving us around and taking us into the Masai Mara, Nakuru and Naivasha, he was always smiling, always showing us new things and he knew a lot about the history, animals, tips and tricks and he was funny! The tour was very well organised, from our tented accommodation to our two hotel stays, we didn’t have to worry about a thing, we were taken care of start to finish. Jose is very very experienced and on the game drives he knew exactly where we were in the park at all times, he was always in communication with other drivers and where they spotted animals, and he was also very clever in his ability to predict where animals will be in the 10 minutes based off their behaviour, which allowed us to see all of the Big 5, spot black rhinos and even the very very rare leopard within a few meters of the vehicle. We watched a cheetah hunt down prey, and I was able to take the most magnificent pictures. If I could rate this tour more than 5 stars I would. Also speaking to other tour groups and tourists, we had paid less than everyone, had more benefits like a boat ride in Naivasha paid for, and we were blessed with the luck of seeing animals lots of people missed out on (this partly testament to Jose’s expertise!)

Extras: We got picked up from the airport and dropped off at the airport at no extra cost. At every stage, I could reach out via WhatsApp and someone replied very usefully. Everyone speaks great English, everyone was SO friendly and accommodating, loved Kenya so much!
