Wonderful safari
When you book the safari online, getting in touch with Jocky Tours is very easy. They respond very quickly to all our questions.
Everything is well organized. We went to the meeting point to meet our guide, Johnny Jackson. He is very kind and always available for us. He answered all our questions and was very professional!
He did everything possible to make sure we could see as much as possible. He’s excellent.
We slept in very comfortable tents for a very reasonable price. Don’t hesitate—go for it!

Good fun and hassle free!
Good value for money considering it is all meals included. Jeep was comfortable despite the rough roads in parts of the park. Johny J was a great tour guide and knew a lot about the animals in the Masai Mara. He gave clear instructions as to where to be and at what time when dropped off each day at the accommodation.

Great experience in Kenya
We really enjoyed the safari experience with Jocky Tours & safaris. Our driver was David Mukami and he made every effort to make us see all animals in their habitat. He is a good driver, he managed to take us safe to the destination, although the weather wasn't friendly at all.
I recommend this experience for all it offers.

The safari tour was very enjoyable and respectful of the animals. The guide was very friendly 😉
The tour is comprehensive. We were able to observe a large number of savannah animals with clear explanations and excellent driving. A wonderful experience that I highly recommend.

Highly Recommended – Jocky Tours and Francis
I went on a 7-day (6-night) safari in Kenya with Jocky Tours in March 2026 together with my daughter, and it was an amazing experience. At 69 years old, I wasn’t sure how comfortable a safari would be for me, but everything was very well organized and easy to enjoy.
We visited Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha/Crescent Island, and Amboseli National Parks. We stayed in hotels rather than tents, which was a great choice for us. The accommodations were very comfortable, the food was excellent, and the staff everywhere were friendly and attentive.
Our guide and driver, Francis, was exceptional. From the start we felt we were in very capable and safe hands. He organized everything perfectly and even arranged the seating in the vehicle so I wouldn’t have to climb to the back, which made the trip much more comfortable for me. He ensured we had fresh, delicious meals, and his patience and skill meant we could spot and photograph wildlife at the best moments. Francis’s knowledge of the parks was incredible—he even drove for hours to help us find three big male lions, and he located real rhinos after seeing other guides misidentify them.
During the safari, we saw an amazing number of animals, including all of the Big Five, often very close to the vehicle. We also visited a Maasai village, did a guided walk near the Mara River, and went to Crescent Island, where you can walk among giraffes.
The vehicle was always clean and comfortable, and the lodges and camps were top-notch. Even with changes to the schedule due to unforeseen events, Jocky Tours was flexible and accommodating, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free.
Even at my age, this safari was comfortable, exciting, and truly unforgettable. I would highly recommend Jocky Tours and Francis -they made this trip a perfect adventure and an experience we will always remember.

Friendly, responsive, and experienced—truly dedicated to creating an unforgettable safari
My mum and I went on a 6-night (7-day) safari with Jocky Tours in March 2026, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience.
From the beginning, the booking process was handled very professionally. Communication was quick and efficient, and it was easy to adjust the safari according to our wishes. One thing we really appreciated was the flexibility regarding accommodations—you can choose your own hotels or tents, and people traveling in the same vehicle may stay in different places depending on their preferences. Jocky Tours even helped us with other arrangements in Kenya, such as booking a train ticket. Compared with other quotes we received, Jocky Tours was also the most affordable option, even though we stayed in comfortable hotels rather than budget accommodation.
When we arrived at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, we were a little nervous. It was our first trip to Africa, and we didn’t quite know what to expect. On top of that, our flight was delayed and we arrived a day later than planned. However, this was no problem at all for Jocky Tours. They even responded to my messages at 4 a.m. and quickly reorganized our airport pick-up.
After meeting our guide, Francis, we immediately felt that we were in very capable and trustworthy hands. We were impressed with how well he organized each safari day. He always explained what was planned and asked if we would like to change anything. Francis took care of everything—from preparing lunch packs to checking us into the hotels—and was clearly dedicated to making our safari an experience of a lifetime.
Everything during the safari was exactly as described in the itinerary—or even better. We made a few small adjustments with the group during the trip, and everything was always discussed openly and arranged without any issues.
Since I was traveling with my 69-year-old mother, we decided not to stay in tents. That turned out to be a great choice. The hotels, food, and staff were all of a very high standard, comparable to what we are used to in Europe. Francis was also very thoughtful and helped rearrange the seating in the safari vehicle, so my mum wouldn’t have to climb to the back and we could sit together. This made the whole week much more comfortable for us.
During the safari we saw an incredible number of animals. We were lucky enough to see all of the Big Five more than once, as well as many other species—often very close to the vehicle. Despite this, we always felt completely safe. This would not have been possible without such a skilled and experienced guide. Francis has over 15 years of experience, and it clearly shows. He knows exactly where to go and is both a fast and very safe driver.
In addition to the game drives, we also enjoyed a few other activities, including visiting a Maasai village, a guided walk near the Mara River, and Crescent Island, which we can absolutely recommend—you can walk among giraffes and other animals there. These experiences were wonderful additions to the safari and gave us the opportunity to learn a little more about Kenyan culture and daily life. We could always ask Francis questions, and he was happy to share his knowledge not only about the animals but also about Kenya and its people.
We can give Jocky Tours and Francis our warmest recommendation. They truly do an outstanding job, and with them you can be sure to have an unforgettable safari experience. If we ever return to Kenya, we will definitely ask for Francis as our guide again.

Lovely guide Francis and great views of animals!
I had a fantastic safari experience with Jockey Tours, and a huge part of that was thanks to our driver and guide, Francis. He was incredibly well organized, friendly, and always willing to help with anything we needed throughout the trip. Francis is also an excellent safari driver and guide. He has an amazing eye for spotting wildlife and consistently managed to position the vehicle so we had very close views and great photo opportunities. It really felt like we were in the best possible place for every sighting.
We chose the camping option, which overall was a great experience and a fun way to do the safari. The only downside was the food at the Masai Mara camp, which unfortunately was quite awful. Aside from that, everything else about the trip was wonderful.
Francis truly made the safari memorable, and I would absolutely recommend Jockey Tours to anyone considering a safari, especially if you’re lucky enough to have Francis as your guide.

Provided a great and well organized safari experience.
I had a wonderful safari experience visiting the Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru. The wildlife and scenery were incredible, and both parks offered unforgettable moments.
Our tour guide, Francis, was excellent—very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and great at getting right to the animals. He truly made the trip special and helped us get the most out of every game drive.
The lodgings were comfortable and nice. The only downside was the food at the Lenchada tourist camp, which wasn’t very good and seemed to be reheated from earlier in the day.
Overall, it was an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend it, especially with Francis as our guide.
