The best and most cheerful guide
We had an amazing experience with Jockey Tours! From the time we booked, communication was super easy and everything went smoothly. Our guide, John Walter, was always on time, really organized, and kept us updated throughout the whole safari. Thanks to him, we got to see all the Big Five and take some awesome pictures — he always made sure we had the best spots for photos. Couldn’t have asked for a better guide! Highly recommend Jockey Tours and especially John Walter!

Responsive and clear in communication
I went on a 3-day Masai Mara safari, joining a group. Everything went smoothly, from the pick-up until the drop-off. The tour operator was flexible with the pick-up location. The safari was amazing, the camp where we stayed was nice and had all the basic facilities. Our guide, Andrew, was very experienced and knew when and where to take us to spot the animals to make it an unforgettable experience. All in all, a great trip!

Andrew, the tour guide, will try his best to meet everyone's needs. He is also very humorous. He can always find animals and give everyone the best experience.

Excellent tour guides and competitively priced.
We had an amazing time on the 3 day Safari of Maasai Mara with our driver Brian! We organised this at late notice - and managed to get a great price and the booking process was very easy.
Brian was an excellent driver and guide during our tour. He is very friendly, laid-back and informative and he always had a smile on his face even after a whole day driving. Brian had great knowledge of the Maasai Mara and where to find all the animals. I can't really think of any animals we didn't manage to see - as we saw lions, zebras, wildebeasts, leopard, cheetahs, elephants, vultures, impalas, antelopes and elands, hippos and crocodiles. Brian was very accommodating to what our tour group wanted to see each day and made sure everyone was happy.
Brian's driving was very professional - especially having to navigate some of the trickier roads in and around the Maasai Mara. His car had WIFI which was a nice bonus and I would recommend requesting his playlist of Kenyan reggaeton. I would highly recommend Brian as a your safari tour guide and will certainly be recommending him to my friends when they come and visit Kenya and the Maasai Mara.

Great safari and amazing experience in the Masai Mara
Great safari and amazing experience! We did a 3 day safari in Masai Mara with Bryan as our guide.
Bryan went above and beyond to show us all the best Masai Mara has to offer, creating life long memories!
Very friendly tour guide and always in a good mood to accommodate everyone’s need and keeping everyone happy.
Bryan even offered WiFi on his car which allowed us to send pictures to our friends and families :)

Joseph made me feel very safe and welcome
Overall, it was a really great experience. Joseph was such a warm and fun person to travel with. He made every effort to show us as many animals as possible, and we could really feel that he knew what he was doing. We were a very curious group and asked a lot of questions — and he always took the time to explain everything to us. He was also a safe and skilled driver, which made us feel comfortable throughout the whole trip.
We saw so many amazing animals and got to witness some incredible moments — and honestly, it often felt like Joseph was one of those guides who really stood out. We sometimes arrived a bit earlier than others or stayed a little longer at the perfect spot, which made the experience extra special.
We chose the low-budget camping option, since we’re both students and travel on a smaller budget. But honestly, it didn’t feel low-budget at all! The tented camps had real beds, private bathrooms attached to the tents, hot showers, proper toilets, and mosquito nets. It was actually super cozy. In Masai Mara and Amboseli, we could even hear the sounds of the animals at night — monkeys screaming, hyenas laughing and the wind passing through the trees. That atmosphere was something truly unforgettable.
The only part we probably wouldn’t do again was the visit to the Masai Village. It was interesting to learn about their culture and we were welcomed warmly with dancing, but later it turned into more of a shopping situation. We were separated individually and encouraged to buy jewelry at quite high prices, and it simply felt uncomfortable. Of course, that has nothing to do with Joseph or Jocky Tours — the rest of the tour was amazing.
So, overall we’re super happy with the trip, and we would 100% recommend doing the safari with Joseph. It was an incredible experience and absolutely worth it!

Papa Jones is Best driver, lots of knowledge, provides the best views
It was a real pleasure to participate in the safari to the Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru. The atmosphere was fantastic and there were plenty of attractions at every turn. It was perfectly planned, so we didn't have to worry about a thing. We started to regret not going to Amboselli. We'll definitely do it again next time with Jocky Tours and Papa Jones.

Our experience with Jocky Tours was excellent. From the moment we booked our safari with Maureen and Minneh to the safari itself, everything was handled professionally and, most importantly, without any surprises. We made the booking via WhatsApp. It was a private six-day safari for three people, starting from Nairobi and covering Masai Mara, Nakuru, and Amboseli.
The hotels were top-notch and matched exactly what had been agreed upon with the agency. The vehicle was well maintained and reliable. And our driver, Andrew, was outstanding. He made us feel safe from start to finish, took into account all our requests, and was patient throughout.
During the safaris, Andrew helped us identify animals and showed great insight and intelligence in spotting interesting situations and wildlife. He followed the itinerary perfectly. We especially thank him for his dedication, punctuality, and kindness.
We highly recommend this experience in every respect.
