Reliable and trustworthy safari operator
We had a great time on the safari. Everything went smoothly from the moment we were picked up from our hotel.
Food was basic but tasty and filling (just what we needed after long days).
Value for money was excellent but I would recommend upgrading from the budget camping to one of the newer camps.
Dickson turned on up time to collect us and did a great job safely taking us around the park. We had nothing to worry about for the whole time.
We were really amazed by how many animals we got to see. It was a really unforgettable experience.

Wonderful people and super well organised
We did a three-day, two-night safari with Jocky Tours and had an absolutely wonderful experience. Everything from start to finish was smooth and well organised, including the pickup in Nairobi and the full safari itinerary.
Our guide and driver, Dixon, was outstanding. He drove us safely from Nairobi and stayed with us throughout all safari days. Dixon is a fantastic driver, incredibly knowledgeable, and explained everything about the animals and the parks in a clear and engaging way. We saw an amazing variety of wildlife and learned so much along the way. He was attentive, kind, and professional at all times, always there when needed but never intrusive. A genuinely lovely person to spend several days with.
The food throughout the safari was also very good and well taken care of.
The only thing we would personally do differently next time is choosing a slightly higher-end accommodation instead of the budget camp. That said, this is purely a personal preference and absolutely not a reflection of Dixon or the organisation of the safari.
Overall, this was a fantastic experience and we would wholeheartedly recommend Jocky Tours, especially if you are lucky enough to have Dixon as your guide.

Very interesting
The Masai Mara safari was an absolutely unforgettable experience. The wildlife sightings were incredible, the scenery was breathtaking, and everything was well organized. I was extremely satisfied and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly amazing safari adventure.

Very reactive and helpful
The safari was magnificent! We saw the Big Five except for the leopard. These were moments of pure happiness for us.
Our guide, Ken, was very kind and attentive and did his best to help us spot all the animals. It’s clear that he has a great deal of experience.
We managed to take beautiful photos. The lodges were acceptable for the budget price, except for the lodges in the Maasai Mara, which were not very comfortable and offered very modest meals. I recommend asking to change them and paying extra, as we did.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I truly recommend doing the safari with Jockey Tours — very responsive with good communication.

Amazing Game drive in Masai Mara
The Safari was a great experience. The organization by Jocky Tours and the execution of the safari were excellent, we had a fantastic time! A very special thank you to our driver, Dickson. He drove us safely to the Masai Mara and back to Nairobi, explained us a lot during the safari and gave us plenty of time to take photos and videos.
I stayed at the Sopa Lodge and was very, very satisfied, a very nice lodge, with big rooms and a nice pool.
I highly recommend Jocky Tours!

He is very kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable, easy going, skilful, funny and really comf to be around
We are two sisters who were going on a Safaritour with Solomon. He was very communicative and told us everything there was to know about the animals and fauna. He also gave us all the time we needed; he stopped whenever there was something to see so we could take our photos. We never felt pressured or rushed. He just let us do our thing. He is therefore very easy to be around. He always checked with us if we were alright or if we needed anything. The level of thoughtfulness is really appreciated. We want to thank him for making this tour so memorable and for all the (funny) conversations we had.
Now the overall review:
The communication about the itinerary was really good. We received the planning per mail and Solomon walked us through it everyday, so we knew exactly what we could expect for those days.
Every penny spent was well worth it. The accommodations were okay and well organised. Everything was taken care of and that was really appreciated.
The tour really exceeded all our expectations and we are really greatful for that. Thank you!

An Unforgettable Safari with Papa Jones
Our safari with guide Papa Jones was exceptionally well-organized and fascinating, as we successfully spotted all of the Big Five, along with numerous giraffes, zebras, hippos, and crocodiles. A particular highlight was the rare sighting of a leopard, which was not only active but also perfectly positioned, as Papa Jones expertly navigated to provide us with excellent photographic angles. His clear and informative explanations throughout the tour added immense value, leaving us thoroughly delighted and satisfied with the entire experience.

It was a great experience and everything was made really easy.
We had Dennis as our driver and guide, and he was absolutely fantastic. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and very laid-back, which made the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable. On top of that, he’s an excellent driver ( even on long, challenging roads and in some very testing driving conditions, we always felt completely safe).
The tour itself was great and we saw everything we were hoping to see, including lots of animals. There is quite a bit of travelling involved, but it’s all part of the fun and there’s so much to see outside the window, and Dennis was always happy to explain what we were looking at or answer any questions, whether about the surroundings or even just life in general.
A huge thanks to Dennis for being an absolute legend and making this such a special experience. We’d heard a few horror stories about other tours and drivers ripping tourists off, but that couldn’t be further from the truth with Jocky Tours and Dennis. Everything was honest, well run, and exceeded our expectations.
Highly recommend, a really memorable experience.

Great experience and wonderful way to start the year
I really enjoyed the safari with Jocky Tours. It was good value for money and everything was arranged. Our guide Dennis was excellent and very knowledgeable about the animals we saw. He was also a very safe and competent driver.
