5/5

Jocky Tours and Safari went above and beyond to make my trip truly special. My guide Walter was not only knowledgeable about the wildlife and parks but also incredibly friendly and passionate about what he does. Every stop felt thoughtfully planned, and I always felt safe and cared for. I totally recommend booking through them and if you get Walter you will have the best time!

Excellent guide and service
5/5

The tour was excellently run by our guide John Walter. He took us on a great 2 day safari where we saw pretty much every animal we wanted, and explained all our questions well. Highly recommend. Communication/service when booking was smooth and helpful with it catered to our needs for our holiday.

The tour was very well organised and we had the best experience!
5/5

The tour was amazing!! We did the five days tour, and everything went really smooth. The tour guide, Dennis, really made the experience the best! He was very knowledgeable and he brought us to the best places to see the animals, and we saw almost all of them thanks to him! He was always on time and always very polite and very interesting to talk to as he knows so much about Kenya! He was also very accommodating with every request which made the whole trip feel very safe and comfortable. I would absolutely recommend the tour, also for the amazing price considering the quality of the transportation as well, and I would recommend booking with Dennis!!

A fantastic journey to the East African savannah and Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa.
5/5

Communications:
The transportation arrangements were excellent. We were provided with a seamless transfer upon arrival on day one, and our guide dropped us off at the airport/hotel at the end of the trip, making the logistics completely worry-free. The Land Cruiser we traveled in can seat up to 7 people, but it was rarely full. This meant we often had extra space, which made the long drives much more comfortable. Furthermore, the vehicle was in great condition and ran flawlessly throughout our 8-day journey.
Service:
We couldn't have asked for a better guide than John Walter. He is not only a very nice person but also a true professional with more than ten years of experience, which he used to create many exciting and memorable experiences for us. His driving was impeccable—always smooth and predictably safe, as he never felt the need to make risky maneuvers on the road. The campsite staff matched his kindness, offering a warm welcome and helping us with our bags upon arrival.
Value for money:
We opted for the budget safari package and were pleasantly surprised by its overall value. All meals were included throughout the trip, and the food was consistently tasty and ample—so no one ever went hungry. The camps were excellent for the price, reliably providing hot water and maintained to a clean, safe, and secure standard. One of the biggest perks was the location; each camp was just a quick 10-minute drive from the park gates, which meant we had more time for safari and less time wasted on the road. For the price, it's an incredible deal!. All things considered, this package offers excellent value for money.
Tour:
Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Amboseli were absolute highlights, each offering unique and unforgettable moments. We spent three days in the Masai Mara, where we were thrilled to witness lions mating, feeding, and a pride of adorable cubs, alongside a massive herd of giraffes. Lake Nakuru gifted us with sightings of both black and white rhinos. The spectacle continued in Amboseli, where we observed a cheetah hunt, vast elephant herds, and the stunning snow-capped peak of Kilimanjaro. Every location was incredibly beautiful and awe-inspiring. Our guide, John, greatly enriched the experience by sharing his knowledge about animal behavior, making the entire safari both educational and immensely enjoyable.

Unforgettable
5/5

Well what a wonderful experience with Jonny from jockey tours! We took a 3 day safari from nairoibi, where we was picked up from our hotel. The organisation of everything was smooth and professional. Jonny was super knowledgeable on everything about his trade, from history, the animals, fauna and flora. He went out of his way to get us as close as possible to animals with his expert driving skills and determination. He was funny, friendly and very professional. We say 4 out of the big 5 (not the rhibo as theyre hard to find) but this didnt bother us as we say around 20 different animals in the wildlife. The masai village was also a highlight ,the people are warm ans vibrant. Our accommodation was wonderful too, we stayed at enkorok ,the food was great and so was the amenities. Kenya had a special place in my heart,my first time here, the people the food and the spirit of the people , an experience i will never forget. Thankyou to Jonny the African Indiana Jones, you will be missed . I highly recommend jocky tours and mostly Johnny if you plan to visit Kenya! ❤️❤️

Knowledgeable and engaging
5/5

Our tour guide Johnny was fantastic his love for the park and animals shone through and he was able to answer all of our questions with ease.
As a girl who doesn’t like camping I was a little skeptical about sleeping in a tent but it was clean spacious and the beds were comfortable I would 100% stay there again.

Haz to be high up there in your bucket list of places to see and experience the safari park experience and to see all the animals in the wild. We were fortunate enough to see alot of them including a chase of cheetah for its prey. Our tour guide johnny was excellent and very knowledgeable of the massa mara park and animals. Highly recommend.

Amazing experience
5/5

Our safari experience in Kenya was absolutely amazing! The landscapes were breathtaking, the wildlife encounters unforgettable, and the organization overall was excellent. Every day felt like a new adventure, and we were lucky to see so many animals up close in their natural environment - basically all we could see, also the leopard and the rhinos which are the most rare to spot!

Our driver, David Mukami, was very good — professional, knowledgeable, and always attentive to our comfort and safety.

That said, it’s good to know that some parts of the roads are quite rough, with long stretches of dirt tracks and bumps, so you spend many hours in the car moving between parks. It’s all part of the adventure, but travelers should be prepared for long transfers.

If we could suggest one improvement, it would be to have an additional guide on board — someone specialized in explaining more about the savannah, the animals’ behavior, and the local ecosystems. That would make the experience even richer and more educational.

Overall, it was an incredible journey that we will remember forever — highly recommended!

Ken, the perfect guide for a dream safari
5/5

Ken, our guide, was simply outstanding. Thanks to his great experience, we enjoyed an exciting and unforgettable safari. With his sharp eye and deep knowledge of the territory, he showed us many animals up close and helped us spot 4 of the famous Big Five. An extraordinary experience we will never forget!
As for the agency, communication was at times a little challenging. We interacted with several staff members, which occasionally led to information that was not entirely aligned. However, overall they were always very helpful and quick in responding to emails, which we truly appreciated.

Amazing Tour with an amazing guide !!
5/5

I can't express how good a job jocky tours did with the itinerary of the 7 day safari, we really felt like we saw a lot of Kenya, and our guide, Joshua, made sure we were all well informed, happy, and felt safe during the whole tour. Not only that, Joshua's breadth of guiding experience meant that we were always front and center of the wildlife action at all times! We were skeptical of the lower price point vs other providers, all I can say is the value for money is amazing, and we never felt for a second that the tour was 'budget' in any sense. The staff at the accommodation along the way were very hospitable and kind. We'd definitely use jocky again.
