Experienced guide, many big cats spotted, great overall experience
This was our second experience doing 7 day safari in Kenya with Jocky Tours and our guide Sir Charles. We were a group of five people. Two other guests were with us in the car.
We enjoyed the safari a lot, saw many animals, including big cats, hippos, rhinos, giraffe, elephants and many different birds. Tour was well organized and our guide, Sir Charles exceptional in spotting animals and sharing interesting facts from animal lives.
One thing that we did not like was the accommodation that was organized for us when in Maasai Mara. We were supposed to be in one of two specific tented camps with good ratings, but due to them being full, we were taken to a different camp that was quite poor in quality (lights did not work, not working sockets, noisy generator right next to tent, so-so food options and services/staff...). To be honest, I was quite disappointed taking into consideration our previous experience with Jocky Tours two years ago. Our guide Charles was helpful here as well, when he managed to get us a better tent.
Regardless, everything else was perfect and we would pick Jocky Tours again.

Unforgettable Safari Experience!
An absolutely unforgettable 3-day safari experience with Jocky Tours and Safaris! Everything was perfectly arranged, but what truly made this trip exceptional was our guide and driver, James Gichina.
Thanks to James’ outstanding driving skills, we were able to reach areas where we spotted an incredible variety of animals, sometimes far from the typical routes. His deep knowledge of wildlife and his ability to explain everything with such clarity and enthusiasm made every moment special.
James not only guided us, but brought the safari to life. His passion, patience, and professionalism made this trip an unforgettable experience.
Highly recommended, ask for James Gichina if you can!

An excellent safari tour
The tour was amazing. Well organized and very satisfying. Our tour guide and driver Samuel Chege drived us safely everywhere, took care of every detail of our safari, explained everything about the animals. He did make every detour he could so we could have a better view of every animal we spotted. And we spot so many!

Friendly, knowledgeable and a good driver.
Francis was absolutely excellent. From the moment we met, he was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and we had a great conversation on the drive to the lodge. As an experienced safari guide, Francis knew exactly where to go for the best views of elephants and other wildlife, making the experience truly unforgettable.
He was also extremely accommodating, going out of his way to ensure we had the best possible time. No request was too much trouble, and he always responded with warmth and professionalism. Francis answered all of our questions in excellent English, and he shared fascinating insights about the local culture, environment, and Kenya as a whole. His knowledge and passion made our safari experience even more special.
Kibo Camp was also excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to go the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them. The rooms were lovely—clean, spacious, and well-maintained—and the food was consistently excellent.
We were also lucky enough to catch a glimpse of Mount Kilimanjaro, which made the experience even more special. Overall, it was an outstanding tour from start to finish.

Growing up, I could only discover the appearance of animals from the Discovery Channel on TV, so coming to Africa to see them has always been one of my dreams. I was lucky to meet my guide, Daniel (JockyTour), who took me to see the Big Five and got me home safely. I can tell you all about my questions at the time. First, there was clean bottled water, and second, there was a place to charge your phone/camera so you could take pictures. I ignored the weather, thinking it would only be hot there, but it can actually be cold too. If you are planning a trip, I recommend my guide, Daniel, to everyone.

An Unforgettable Safari Experience in Maasai Mara!
I had an absolutely amazing experience with Jocky Tours & Safaris on my recent trip to Maasai Mara. Everything was organized perfectly from start to finish, and the entire safari exceeded my expectations.
Special thanks to our incredible driver and guide, James Gichina. He was not only professional and knowledgeable, but also incredibly kind, humorous, and attentive throughout the tour. He knew exactly where to go to find the animals and made sure we had the best viewing angles possible. Thanks to his skillful driving, we were able to get amazingly close to lions, elephants, and even a cheetahs! He made the experience feel safe, exciting, and unforgettable.
The game drives were well-paced, and James always made sure we had enough time to enjoy the wildlife without ever feeling rushed. His deep knowledge about the animals and the Maasai Mara ecosystem added great value to the trip.
I highly recommend Jocky Tours & Safaris to anyone looking for a memorable and well-organized safari experience in Kenya. And if you get James as your driver, consider yourself lucky — he truly made this trip unforgettable.

Best guide joshua, who always showed so many animals kindly and safely throughout the tour!
It was the best trip thanks to Joshua. I saw all the big five animals, elephant buffalo, rhino, leopard, and lion, and I could see the animals crossing the river. I also saw baby elephants and baby hima, and it was such a great experience. However, it was a bit difficult to adapt to the tent accommodation where I first stayed. However, the staff were kind.

Best guide, amazing safari.
I learned a lot and saw many animals thanks to my trip with my best guide Joshua. The seven-day journey was long, but it consists of alpha. Guides and vehicles were the best, but the only problem is the travel agency's choice of accommodation. Most of the accommodations did not have hot water or had issues with the bathroom.

Good safari
What really made it special was Papa John, our guide and driver. He didn’t just tell us about the animals, he helped us get in the right spots for great views and amazing photos. He was always thinking one step ahead, spotting animals before we did and making sure we didn’t miss anything.
The places we stayed were peaceful and comfortable, and the whole trip felt well-organized and relaxed.
If you’re looking for a real safari adventure, this is the one and Papa John makes it even better.

We did the 5-Day Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Navaisha itinerary. In addition to seeing the Big 5, and the Ugly 5, we Witnessed the migration of the wildebeest in Masai Mara, which was extraordinary. We covered a lot of ground in a short amount of time. Next time we would add a few days to spend more time in each park. The food was good overall, and the accommodations were a good value with the bed at the Sarova hotel being the most comfortable of the 3. Freddy, our driver/guide was amazing, and we would request him again!
