John Walter was such a fun tour guide
I felt really comfortable travelling with them even thought I’m a young solo traveler! Very helpful, would definitely recommend

Fun
Our driver David Mukami was the best! He drove extremely well and got us to all of our destinations safely and in time. We saw all the animals we wanted to see and more! If we come back we will absolutely request to do the safari again with him. Thank you David!

A dream come true!
Our experience with James Gichina was absolutely amazing!
From the very first moment, James proved to be a true professional — attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly dedicated. He went above and beyond to make sure we could see as many animals as possible, and he patiently explained everything about them, from their behavior to their natural habitats.
What stood out most was his kindness and patience. James was always available, constantly checking that we were comfortable, safe, and enjoying every part of the trip. You could really feel that he cared about us personally and wanted us to have the best experience possible.
A few things that could be improved:
• The payment process was a bit confusing. When we arrived on the first day, the reception asked us to pay an additional $80 per person without informing us in advance or explaining why. It would be great if this could be clarified ahead of time for future guests.
• The food was okay, but as a vegan, the options were very limited — mostly rice. It would be wonderful to see a bit more variety in the meals, even just some simple dishes like pasta, pizza, or something sweet like chocolate.
• On one of the days, there was no hot water in the shower because of a power outage — not a major issue, but still worth noting.
Despite these small issues, everything else was truly fantastic. The safari itself exceeded our expectations — it was beautiful, well-organized, and we genuinely felt safe and cared for the entire time.
We can honestly say we fulfilled a dream!
I highly recommend booking your safari with Jockey Safaris, and if you can — make sure you go with James. He will make your trip unforgettable!

Papa John was amazing, really knowledgeable and answered all our questions patiently.
We are very happy with Jocky tours. They provided us with a package and itinerary suitable to our needs. We stayed at Enkorok camp (new property), the tents were amazing, and food was really good. We enjoyed all 4 days - 2 nights at Masai Mara and 1 night at Lake Nakuru.
Will recommend.
Papa John was very good natured and guided us very well.
I liked the hotels we stayed in our mid range tour. Everything went smoothly and Papa John guided us very well throughout the trip and also gave good recommendations.

Reliable, perfect service. would be better if the guide try more to understand what the travelers really want and customize the plan more.

Overall good experience, but we were not informed about the additional fee before arrival
We had such a wonderful time on our first safari with James! He always managed to get us the best spots to see the animals and patiently explained every species in great detail — you can truly feel how much he knows and cares about wildlife. He’s also really funny and responsible, which made every ride both safe and enjoyable. My friends and I had so much fun, and even our carmates were lovely — the whole experience was unforgettable. I’ll definitely miss it (and James!) 💛

The Best Safari Experience I Ever Had
Book it now! Our Safari Tour with Brian from Jocky Tours was amazing. I am so glad I booked with them.
The first day we saw lions feasting on an Elon. Zebras and Giraffes grazing all through out the park. We also saw Elephants as well.
The second day was even better. It almost felt like I was in a National Geographic wildlife show. We spotted 4 out of the big 5 on both safari rides. The terrain and ecosystem was just beautiful. This tour was curated so well and I got exactly what I wanted from it.
It's important that I speak on Brian, our guide, services as well. He is someone I would recommend a million times. He made my friend and I feel so comfortable and became a great friend the first day. He's knowledgeable and personable. Took the time to speak to other guides to stay up to date on sightings in the park. There was WiFi available in the car and the jeep had a great sound system. He's really the best guy for the job. Ask for him when booking!

Alex Ngugi made our experience unforgettable
We'd first like to say that our guide, Alex Ngugi, was an absolute gem. He truly made our experience special. It's easy to see the passion he has for his work, not only prioritizing our interests over his plans, but also respectfully nudging us in the right direction not to miss something special.
We also appreciated the respect he showed the animals, always maintaining a respectful distance when necessary and never daring cutting them off like some others have. Alex was very skilled at anticipating where they would be, proving that such behaviour wasn't necessary.
Regarding the safari itself, we had a strong preference for the Maasai Mara. It has what seems like an endless stream of animals from crocodiles to lions to zebras. Unlike the Nakuru and Amboseli parks, they allow off-roading to some extent, which offers more opportunities to spot more species. We would personally recommending passing on those two and simply fully enjoy the Maasai Mara.
Nonetheless, Alex and Jocky Tours delivered a truly unforgettable experience.
