Great Tanzania Trip
5/5

The only reason that I gave you 4 stars instead of the 5 is that we got mosquito bites at the lodge in Tarangire otherwise the whole trip was amazing. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery and lots of wildlife - all the big 5 in 4 days with more sighting of baboons, 2 leopards in Ngorongoro and Serengeti, wildebeest, hyenas- this was a first for me, my husband had seen some in South Africa last year, bufflalo, monkeys, crocs and many birds.
Service at the lodges was excellent though what struck me most were the views of Serengeti and Ngorongoro from the lodges. It was so relaxing to sit down and gaze into pristine surroundings with animals crossing after the game drives.
Another striking thing was the concern and care from Amos the owner who frequently checked on our progress by phone. They made our trip very special and I would not hesitate to book another trip with him

Best Choice Safari Operator
5/5

We went on our safari with Migration Venture Africa and were very pleased with how the handled the whole trip from very timely responses by Amos during the booking process, safe and staggered payments and the overall trip experience with guide Anderson on the 6 wonderful days.
Our safari was better than me and my sister expected for several reasons;
1. Punctuality of our driver on all pick-ups and drop-offs. Anderson kept time at all times. His 4x4 vehicle was always clean
2. Anderson is very experienced on safari and excellent guide. He showed us lots of different animals.
3. Well appointed accommodations with excellent service in great locations.
We immensely enjoyed the vacation and are grateful for the wonderful memories.

Seous & Ruaha Private Camping Safari
5/5

In all my trips to Tanzania I have booked with Migration Venture Africa and they have never disappointed me. I find Amos very professional and fair in his pricing and always surprising as with a token dinner of cultural visit. My recent trip with my 2 brothers was not any different; actually it was in a new comfortable Toyota Landcruiser with Thomas our favourite guide from the last trip to Gombe and Katavi. This time we had an incredible 7 days away from the crowds camping in Selous Game Reserve and Ruaha National Park. Our trip was exceptional in many ways, the undisturbed sights and experiences in Selous were most fascinating, serene boat safaris along Rufuji river and game drives come to mind. Camping in Ruaha was filled with many wild animals encounters along Ruaha River.
It was another satisfying experience from good friends and tour experts.

Excellent Service and Highly Recommended
5/5

Preparation for our Tanzania safari was quite lengthy as my husband and I kept changing travel details and places that we wanted to visit however Amos was very patient with our indecisions till we had a perfect itinerary. It was a nice surprise when we found him waiting for us at the airport and later introduced us to Thomas our guide. Our vacation with Thomas in Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire was awesome. We managed to see all the big 5 amongst many other interesting creatures. The accommodations were first class and perfect for resting with good food after safari drives. Service by Migration Venture Africa was perfect and I cannot fault any aspect of our vacation.

My Trip of a Lifetime
5/5

I have always wanted to visit Tanzania from the wonderful stories I hear from friends and also documentaries I have watched about Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti. In May my dream came true when my company sent me on assignment to Tanzania. I asked around our offices in Moshi and was introduced to Amos, the proprietor of Migration Venture Africa.I intimated that my interest was an affordable trip to Ngorongoro and Serengeti and he gave me several options, including joining a group of 3 guys from Czech who were going on 4 days & 3 nights to Serengeti and Ngorongoro camping. I must say that this has turned out to be the trip of my lifetime. I made new friends from fellow travelers who were easy going and fun to be around. We were 4 of us in the Jeep with Anderson our guide and Thomas the cook.
We spent 3 days visiting different parts of Serengeti and then had our last day in Ngorongoro.
Camping was fun and comfortable too. The camping spots were not crowded and that was quite nice. Anderson also chose to follow the routes with fewer jeeps and we got to see so many animals from close proximity. Infact at one time we were in the middle of thousands of wildebeest and Zebras.
I am very happy with Amos for the amazing deal and excellent execution by Anderson and Thomas.
Fantastic!!!!

Amos took complete care of us and guided us through our itinerary
5/5

While there were several tour companies to choose from we chose Migration and Kili Expedition tours because Amos ( I think he is the owner of the business) responded to us quickly and completely answered all our questions. While we were hesitant about arriving in a completely foreign country with just a name to rely on, all our doubts were washed away as soon as we met Amos. We were not sure if he would meet us or someone else but it was him. He made us feel comfortable right away. All our tours and travel arrangements were planned and executed properly. He offered us rides when he was around to the local areas and arranged for people to meet us wherever we were. He even got us masseuses to our hotel room after our climb on Kilimanjaro. His guides were professional and friendly. The kili guide, Roghert, was a speed record holder up the mountain six years ago. He was patient with us. The safari guide, (forgot his name ask Amos) tried his best to get us to see all the animals at ngorongoro crater (we even saw the illusive black rhino) and drove extra for us to see additional things and even shop. I would highly recommend Amos and his company for your tours. I do recommend however that you sort out tipping guidelines ahead so you know what is expected. I recommend this for all tours and other typically tipping scenarios while in a new country.

The coffee tour and hike to the waterfall was a highlight of our family reunion.
4/5

There were 20 of us, ages 1-60. Our competent, safe driver picked us up in Moshi mid-morning. Our drive took us right up to the base of Kilimanjaro and to the village home of a family who grows coffee. We entered their tidy compound and were warmly greeted by our host and guide, Oscar. Oscar gave a good presentation on single source coffee. He demonstrated every step of the process of taking the bean from tree to cup. Everyone got a chance to try the husking machine (handmade by Oscars grandfather, I believe), to grind the beans by hand with a 'pilao', (huge mortar and pestle used for pounding grains into flour). Water boiled over the fire, the grounds were sprinkled liberally into the pot, and then the brew was poured through a strainer into our cups. A perfect cup! This was a most delightful event. Most of us ordered coffee which Oscar roasted and delivered to us the following day.
After our bag lunch, Oscar took us on the hike to the waterfall. Our path was well beaten, narrow and often had us teetering on the edge of the ridge. The views of the valley below, the village homes and the gardens took our breath away. Our guide peppered our walk with interesting facts about the culture and the flora and fauna around us. His love for his home sparked enthusiasm in all of us. We all made it to the waterfall after walking an easy 1+ hours (it took us longer than it might normally as we had small children making the trek). We spent some time playing in the water before it was time to hike back. This tour was so refreshing, fun for all ages. Our guide was excellent and communicated well in English. The logistics of this tour ran smoothly, thanks to Amos who accompanied us the whole day.

Great Safari
5/5

We did the 9 day nature/culture + safari itinerary. The first few days were spent hiking in the South Pare Mountains - it was definitely a real African experience riding up the mountain in a packed SUV on rough roads, and the hiking was fairly challenging, but we had some wonderful views of the country and were always well fed. The Kitolie Home where we stayed before and after the trip was great, had hot water and a comfy bed. The coffee plantation tour was fantastic - more of a family operation than a big company, which I liked. Then we started the Safari part, which included Serengeti NP and Ngorongoro Crater. Our guide, Ninah, was superb at spotting animals for us to view, and we got to see many zebra/lion/elephant/wildebeast/giraffe/hyena etc. very close. We chose the tent camping option, so we got to stay at camp grounds inside the parks, which was really awesome. I would definitely recommend the company, especially for the safari portion they did a wonderful job and made sure we saw everything!

Kilimanjaro Climb
5/5

Migration Kili was excellent! I was given full attention by the staff from beginning to end, and the climb was as smooth as I could have imagined. The head guide was very knowledgeable and the team made the transition from hike to campsite very easy, and the food was excellent. I could not have imagined a more enjoyable trip!

5/5

This safari was way beyond expectations. Communication with the Director and the Guides was excellent .

The guides were extremely well informed and even passionate about the environment and the animals who lived there . They really understood the wilderness , respected it and had a deep knowledge of the nature of the wild life that belonged there.

The atmosphere was of helpfulness or mindfulness and the food was to die for !
