very professional and highly knowledgeable
Had a fantastic three day/2 night tour with Colin. He was engaging and very knowledgeable about the animals, people, and culture of the Maasi Mara. Almost more importantly he was always able to give us guidance on the best photos! Highly recommended.
Well organised
I chose the 4 day and 3 night experience. Communications, service, value for money was all great. We got to see and take pictures/videos of the Big 5 and more (expect for the elusive leopard who kept us guessing). Everything was well organised. Our guide, Dennis, did a great job overall by being observant, interactive, kind and helpful. I highly recommend this experience for anyone who’s considering going to safari.

Well organized, the driver (Ken) was great
The overall experience was nice. Picked up from before the trip and dropped off after the trip to the place of staying overnight. Our driver main driver (Ken) for the Masai Mara park drive was great, planning everything and explaining many thinks.

Great
We had a great experience with Axis Africa Safaris! We went for a 3 day trip from Nairobi to Masai Mara. After arriving we had a quick lunch and immediately went into the park for a game drive. The second day we went on a full day of game drives. Our driver Ken did an amazing job. He really knew how to get the best positions to view the wildlife. On the third day we visited a Masai village and made our way back to Nairobi. Had a great trip, would highly recommend if you want a short safari trip!

The best tour operators and tour guide.
I booked the Kenyan Safari with Axis Africa Expeditions and it was marvellous, beyond words. Right from the first day of contact, till the starting day of the tour, the communication was well maintained. It was easy to communicate and the process went well without any discomfort. All the informations were clear. Even if we ask any doubt, Axis team made sure that it was cleared. The mode of contact was through whatsapp, which made it easier for the communication.
Our tour guide was Kevin Apidi from Axis, who is an absolute legend. Kevin is knowledgeable and explained us the details of the animals. He took care of us throughout the whole journey. The whole 8 days with Kevin was memorable. This is our first visit to Africa and it turned out to be something special. He took effort to make sure that we don’t miss out the major incidents of a safari. We are very happy with the whole experience.
We highly recommend Axis Africa Expeditions to everyone and encourage oir friends and family to experience this wonder with Axis. Also, a guided tour with our man Kevin Apidi is also highly recommended.

Professional, comfortable and very customizable
Did their 7-day tour of Masai Mara, Nakuru, Naivasha and Amboseli. I thought sitting in a car for so long most days would be too much, but it was very comfortable and our guide was a great and safe driver. The fact that you have the same guide and same group throughout the safari is great, it really allowed us to bond so each day became better and better in that regard.
Best part was the Hells Gate National Park optional biking activity. The mix of Masai Mara, Nakuru and Naivasha was great. However if I had to redo it I would do the 5-day and skip Amboseli as you've already seen the animals coming here and the only added bonus (except for elephants everywhere) is Kilimanjaro.
I would definitely recommend Axis due to the professionality and friendliness of the guides (ours was Mohammed, 5*), the customization options, the communication and the safety.

Best tour operator in Kenya
These 6 nights, 7 days has been the most memorable time of the year so far! From to and fro airport-hotel transfers, to the game drives in Masai Mara, Nakuru and Amboseli, Axis Africa perfectly organised everything. We visited all places we wanted to in a very systematic and comfortable manner. The choice of resorts for our stay in all the destinations was pretty good. In addition the 4 by 4 Land Cruiser with side and top open, we got is indeed the best vehicle which provides at most comfort during off roading in rough terrains and allows a 360 degree view of the surrounding.
Our guide Ben is the best guide we could have asked for. He is a pro when it comes to animal sightings during the game drives. He understands their behaviour very well and stops the car at strategic positions for capturing Nat Geo level pictures and videos. We managed to see the Big 5, the other big five and many more animals at different locations. His experience and off roading skills made our day long safaris the main highlight of our trip.
All of us had an amazing time and we thank Axis Africa and their team for the excellent service.

Dedicated and very knowledgeable
We had an absolutely amazing experience in the Masai Mara, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Tom! From the very beginning, Tom made it his personal mission to ensure that all six of us had the best safari possible — and he delivered beyond expectations.
His knowledge of the park and wildlife was incredible; he seemed to know exactly where to go and when. Thanks to his sharp eyes and dedication, we were lucky enough to spot all of the Big Five — something we’ll never forget!
Beyond being an excellent guide, Tom was friendly, patient, and genuinely passionate about making sure everyone was having fun and getting full value from the experience. Every drive felt like an adventure with a friend who truly cared.
If you’re planning a safari in Masai Mara, I can’t recommend Tom highly enough. He turned a great trip into an unforgettable one

Fantastic experience
It was such a great tour. Easy and fast to get an offer, get all answers and to book. Our tour guy was super amazing. He did all he could to make us happy and find all animals for us plus to find the best spots for photos. The drive was safe and smooth. Everything was on time.
