My experience with Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris was absolutely amazing! From the planning stage to the very end of the safari, everything was well organized, seamless, and handled professionally. Excelent 2 days of safari
It was an incredible experience from start to finish! Our guide, Kelvin, did everything possible to make sure we could see as many animals as possible. He was kind, funny and very knowledgeable, and he shared lots of interesting facts and curiosities about the animals throughout the safari.
After each adventure, we arrived at beautiful, safe and comfortable places to rest, with delicious dinners and great breakfasts. They also provided us with bottled water constantly and took care of absolutely everything, so we could simply relax and enjoy the experience.
I 100% recommend this company, and especially our guide KELVIN! He made the experience even more special.

An unforgettable seven-day safari with Axis Africa ā thank you, Mohamed
I booked the seven-day Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Naivasha and Amboseli joining safari with Axis Africa after reading the glowing online reviews, and the company fully lived up to them. From my initial enquiries to the final day of the trip, everything was smooth and well organised. Tabitha in the office answered all my questions before booking, and her communication was always clear and responsive. Our group had the pleasure of having Mohamed as our guide, and he was truly fantastic. His knowledge and enthusiasm made the whole trip unforgettable. We saw the Big Five, and during the long drives he not only answered our questions but also told us about life in Kenya, local traditions, the people and family life. These conversations made the experience feel much more personal. His communication throughout the safari was excellent: we always knew where we were going, what we would be doing and what time we would be picked up the next day. From day one, he tried to remember everyone's names, which was a lovely touch. He also warned us before moving the car to get a different view of the animals, helping everyone avoid injury. These may seem like small details, but they showed how much he cared about giving guests the best possible experience. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe and well looked after throughout the trip.
It is also worth noting that, with a joining safari, the group can change after the third or fourth day. My fellow travellers and I had not realised this beforehand. For the final part of my tour in Amboseli, I joined another group, with John as our guide. He was also knowledgeable and brought us back to Nairobi safe and sound.
I had an amazing time in Kenya. I met so many lovely people and saw countless incredible animals. Seeing them in their natural habitat for the very first time was truly special, and the sunset in the Masai Mara was unforgettable. If you are thinking about doing a safari, I would wholeheartedly recommend booking with Axis Africa ā you will not be disappointed. Thank you, Axis Africa and Mohamed.

Pros:
-great guide (Saddam)
-car not packed, so easy to shuffle around
-Saddam went extra mile to get jacket
Cons:
-Lake naivasha boat not included: whatās the point of including lake if need to pay extra? note: theyāre transparent about this.
-mediocre lunches, limited variety, and not suitable for all diets
-not transparent about Hellās Gate pricing. Needed to pay extra 15$ at gate

Tsavo East with Hassan
A very well organised safari game in Tsavo East with a special guide and really safe driver (Hassan) although the road is a in an awful condition. He has a so safety way to drive that we slept during the long distances.
Hassan is a well knowing of all about animals, history, typical traditions, etc, it was a pleasure talk with him about Kenya and its curiosities.
Tsavo East is a wonderful place, not a boring savana landscape but rich of mountains, rivers and bush.
We could see a lot of antelopes, lionesses, crocodiles, hippos, ostriches, zebras, elephantsā¦
The lodge chosen by Axis was one of the best place where you could dream to stay some nights: above a river when usually the animals come to drink, so you can see them from the terrace of your accommodation. It isnāt touristic but all well blinded in the nature.
The price is high but if you reflect a minute about transportation, fuel, parks fee, accommodation, all meals included, the kindness of our guide, the safety sensation, the knowledge of the guide, and going on, is absolutely well-balanced and honest. Definitely, we recommend Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris.

A perfect safari
For my first trip to Africa, I chose a classic 5-day safari with 2 days in the Masai Mara, followed by Nakuru, Naivasha, and Hell's Gate.
A huge thank you to our amazing driver, Jacob, who drove and guided us perfectly. He's incredible; he knows every nook and cranny of every park and does his utmost to spot the Big Five! The safari was well-organized overall, but be warned, the days are long.

Leroy is a more than incredible guide/driver. He really (really) makes sure that you are having a safari with all the possible animals you can, we saw lions eating a wildebeest very close (if this is not a safari, I do not know what it is).
Logistics point of view, he is clear with schedule, he understands personal needs and he accommodates to your requests. He is open for feedback, which is always nice Ina multi-day trip.
I am very glad he was my guide/driver, and I hope my next Kenya adventure is with him.
