Great family safari! Excellent planning, top guide
As a family, we were completely satisfied with our 4-day safari. The back-office organization at Axis was excellent, and everything ran smoothly and reliably. The tour planning was well thought out and varied, so we were able to experience a great deal over the four days.
Amboseli impressed us with the view of Kilimanjaro and its abundant wildlife. Tsavo West left a strong impression with its stunning landscapes.
Our guide Andrew was a real stroke of luck. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and explained the animals and the landscape with great enthusiasm. We especially appreciated how he always secured a good spot for us to observe the wildlife.
We give Axis Africa our highest rating: 5 out of 5 stars. We would gladly travel with them again!
A wonderful safari for thefamily!
Axis and Amos provided a wonderful family experience for us (daughters 8 and 13) The Lodge was great, with good meals and lovely accommodation. The whole experience was very professional and friendly and compared to the competition, provided good value for money. We saw every animal we hoped to see (with exception of a rhino who are not in that area) Amos was super helpful and very knowledgeable regarding all the flora and fauna. Finishing with the Masai village was well worth it.

Very reliable tour operator! I would strongly recommend them. We had a smooth and enjoyable 6-day safari through the Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli.

An outstanding experience !!!
We planned a family holiday going on a Safari to Kenya. We were 6. Me, my wife, two daughters and their partners. After some research I selected Axis Africa Expeditions & Safaris as our operator. My point person was Lucy Precious who helped arrange all the accommodation transport etc. She was prompt in answering all my queries. She was extremely helpful in handling a change in dates.
We spent 2 nights at Sweetwaters Serena Ol Pamela, one night at The Cliff Nakuru and 4 nights at Amani Mara Camp. All the camps were excellent but Amani Mara was our favourite.
In a Safari the guide cum driver is the most important person. In Apidi Kevin we found a wonderful guide. A competent driver, a caring human being and a person with vast knowledge of Kenya, its flora and fauna. He raised the safari experience to a very high level. On a number of occasions our Land Cruiser would be the first to reach the animals and he would ensure that we got the right light and angle to ensure we got some good photographs. Thank you Apidi !!!
Above all Apidi Kevin is a great human being. A big thank you to Lucy and him for arranging transfer of my medicine which I had left behind in Nairobi.

Unforgettable trip to safari in Kenya
We had an amazing 6-day safari with Captain Khalifa, visiting Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, and Amboseli National Park.
Captain Khalifa is an outstanding guide—professional and incredibly experienced. He has an excellent understanding of wildlife behavior and always knew where to look, giving us the best possible chances to see the animals. Thanks to him, we enjoyed many unforgettable wildlife sightings throughout the trip.
We highly recommend him to anyone planning a safari in Kenya.

Perfect place to get Perfect experience
Thanks for the Axis safari ,organized by Joy and My brother John hagiah ,he was very kind and calm and timing person, I have spotted so many wild animals nearby, only because of John brother, he take me on proper way to spot all animals, whenever I came visit here kenya only I choose John brother for my entire trip. Philip was absolutely amazing throughout our trip! He treated us with so much kindness and warmth, and he is truly one of the most generous people we’ve met. He is an excellent guide, incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure we had the best experience possible. Our trip was so much better thanks to him, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. We are truly grateful for everything he did for us and would highly recommend him to anyone!
On the other hand, Axis should review the Naibaisha day and also maybe organize the cars between the ones that are doing the 3 day or 6 day safari and also depending on the lodge. The experience also would be better if we hadnt share all of the days with a couple that was really disrespectful with us, but thats not Axis fault.
