An unforgettable safari with incredible wildlife and an amazing guide!
We had an absolutely amazing safari experience with Axis Africa Safaris! We visited the Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, and Amboseli National Park, and we could not be happier with the experience. Everything was amazing from start to finish.
We saw so many incredible and unforgettable things throughout the trip. The incredible wildlife, amazing landscape, and unforgettable moments exceeded all our expectations.
A special thank you to our guide Jack, who made our safari even more incredible. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and always made sure we had the best possible experience. We felt very well taken care of throughout the entire trip.

Masaimara with AxisAfricaSafari
We booked MasaiMara safari with Axis in October 2026.. It was for a group of 9 people.
Tabitha and Joy from booking office was very helpful and clear on their communication.
Yasin and Ahmed, our car driver cum guides, has been great in making our tour and game drive memorable. Overall had a good time in this package.

Papa John made a huge effort to cover the big 5/9 then took his time for specials.
Simply a great trip exceeding all my expectations!!!
After one day in Maasai Mara we already covered the big 9 with quality pictures. Still our guide tried his best to improve the experience with a breast feeding lioness and her cubs or a hunting scene with jackass and thomson gazelles.
The Lake Nakuru National Park also didn't disappoint. We got more lion cubs and black and white rhinos. Our guide John took time to share his knowledge about the many species and broaded my knowledge about the wildlife in Africa.
The great accomodation in Enkorok Mara Camp was a big surprise as our tent was very spacious and had all the comfort. We received for every meal a buffet selection, which offered something for each age, style and taste and our vehicle was always stuffed with bottled water. Aside of the beautiful pictures I take even better memories.

Great Experience, great staff!
It was a great Experience. We've seen so many animals in the Masai Mara. The staff is very friendly, the commuication was very good. Our driver Ray gave us much time in the Park to enjoy the Views and answered all our questions. We booked the Cost Option 1 so the camp was quiet basic, but we had warm water, the room was clean and the food was quiet good.
What we didn't like that much was the Masai Village. It was interesting but with 20$ a Person overprized in our opinion. The Experience seems to be very commerialzed.

An unforgettable safari experience with Axis Africa Expeditions!
We have just returned from our four-day safari through Amboseli, Tsavo West and Tsavo East, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience with Axis Africa Expeditions.
From our very first contact with Peter, everything was handled professionally, clearly and with complete transparency. Before making our final decision, we exchanged several emails discussing the itinerary, accommodation options and all the details of the trip. Peter was always patient, helpful and happy to explain everything. Communication was excellent throughout, and we knew exactly what we were booking and paying for.
We paid a deposit through a secure payment link and settled the remaining balance in person at the company’s office. Our driver picked us up from our hotel and took us there, which also gave us the chance to meet Peter personally. It was lovely to finally put a face to the name after all those emails!
Everything we had agreed on in advance was delivered exactly as promised. No unpleasant surprises, no last-minute changes and no problems whatsoever.
Our vehicle was a proper 4x4 Land Cruiser. Perhaps not the newest car on the road, but comfortable, reliable and absolutely perfect for a safari.
And then there was our driver and guide, Ahmed Mohamed, who deserves a very special thank you.
Anyone who has travelled on Kenyan roads will understand why we appreciated his driving skills so much! What can sometimes look like complete chaos to a European was clearly no challenge for Ahmed. He remained calm, confident and fully in control, whether overtaking endless trucks or navigating the many different vehicles sharing the road.
But Ahmed was much more than an excellent driver. He was also a wonderful safari guide. On previous safaris, we had travelled with both a driver and a separate ranger who had extensive knowledge of wildlife. This time, Ahmed successfully combined both roles.
He was always happy to answer our questions, explain animal behaviour and share his knowledge. We never felt rushed or that we were asking too much. He was patient, attentive and genuinely committed to making our experience special.
One moment we will particularly remember was his determination to find lions in Amboseli. After hearing information over the radio, he made a real effort to reach the location, despite the considerable distance. And he succeeded! Seeing those lions was one of the highlights of our safari.
Three nights, three completely different experiences
We also want to mention the accommodation, as we were quite involved in choosing our lodges. Each place was completely different, and looking back, we feel that each offered something special.
Amboseli Sopa Lodge was all about atmosphere. Its surroundings, beautiful gardens and the feeling of being close to Kilimanjaro created a wonderful introduction to our safari. It had a charm and character of its own.
Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge in Tsavo West was simply breathtaking. The views over the African bush and the surrounding volcanic hills were extraordinary. Sitting in the restaurant or looking out from our room, watching the landscape and the animals visiting the nearby waterhole, was something we will never forget. There is something truly magical about this place, especially at night. It was one of those experiences where you just sit quietly, look around and realise how lucky you are to be there.
Our final night was at Sentrim Tsavo Lodge in Tsavo East. This was actually an alternative choice, as our originally preferred accommodation was already fully booked. But it turned out to be another memorable experience. Sleeping in a tented room with a solid structure, somewhere between a traditional safari tent and a small cottage, was something quite different from our previous nights.
And then, at around 4 in the morning, lions appeared at the waterhole next to the restaurant! I was able to watch them from an incredibly close distance, while the security guards helped us see them better with their torches. Standing there in the middle of the night, watching wild lions just a short distance away, was an experience I will remember for the rest of my life.
Would we recommend Axis Africa Expeditions? Absolutely!
We saw an incredible number of animals, travelled through three beautiful national parks and came away with memories that will stay with us forever.
A huge thank you to Peter for organising everything so smoothly, patiently answering all our questions and making sure that what was promised was actually delivered.
And an equally big thank you to Ahmed Mohamed for his excellent driving, his patience, his knowledge and all the effort he put into showing us the incredible wildlife and natural beauty of Kenya.
We are genuinely happy that we chose Axis Africa Expeditions. If we return to Kenya for another safari, we would happily book with them again. And if Ahmed were available to be our guide once more, we would ask for him without a second thought.
Highly recommended. A reliable company, wonderful people and a truly unforgettable experience. Thank you, Peter and Ahmed!

We had a wonderful safari experience with Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris!
Everything was very well organized from start to finish. The entire team was extremely professional, efficient, reliable and responsive, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.
A special mention goes to our guide, Kevin, who was absolutely fantastic! Phillip was the best.
My experience with Axis was absolutely fantastic! From the very beginning, Philip made sure everything was well organized, comfortable, and enjoyable. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready with a helping hand or a good conversation. What I appreciated most was his patience and attention to detail. Nothing felt rushed, and he made sure we enjoyed every moment of the experience.
Philip has a great personality and knows how to make people feel welcome. By the end of the experience, it felt less like dealing with a company and more like spending time with someone who genuinely cares about his clients. If you are looking for excellent service, good company, and an experience worth remembering, I would highly recommend Axis. Keep up the great work, Philip!
