An outstanding experience !!!
We planned a family holiday going on a Safari to Kenya. We were 6. Me, my wife, two daughters and their partners. After some research I selected Axis Africa Expeditions & Safaris as our operator. My point person was Lucy Precious who helped arrange all the accommodation transport etc. She was prompt in answering all my queries. She was extremely helpful in handling a change in dates.
We spent 2 nights at Sweetwaters Serena Ol Pamela, one night at The Cliff Nakuru and 4 nights at Amani Mara Camp. All the camps were excellent but Amani Mara was our favourite.
In a Safari the guide cum driver is the most important person. In Apidi Kevin we found a wonderful guide. A competent driver, a caring human being and a person with vast knowledge of Kenya, its flora and fauna. He raised the safari experience to a very high level. On a number of occasions our Land Cruiser would be the first to reach the animals and he would ensure that we got the right light and angle to ensure we got some good photographs. Thank you Apidi !!!
Above all Apidi Kevin is a great human being. A big thank you to Lucy and him for arranging transfer of my medicine which I had left behind in Nairobi.

Reliable tour operator that made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable
Very reliable tour operator! I would strongly recommend them. We had a smooth and enjoyable 6-day safari through the Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli.
A wonderful safari for thefamily!
Axis and Amos provided a wonderful family experience for us (daughters 8 and 13) The Lodge was great, with good meals and lovely accommodation. The whole experience was very professional and friendly and compared to the competition, provided good value for money. We saw every animal we hoped to see (with exception of a rhino who are not in that area) Amos was super helpful and very knowledgeable regarding all the flora and fauna. Finishing with the Masai village was well worth it.

Great family safari! Excellent planning, top guide
As a family, we were completely satisfied with our 4-day safari. The back-office organization at Axis was excellent, and everything ran smoothly and reliably. The tour planning was well thought out and varied, so we were able to experience a great deal over the four days.
Amboseli impressed us with the view of Kilimanjaro and its abundant wildlife. Tsavo West left a strong impression with its stunning landscapes.
Our guide Andrew was a real stroke of luck. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and explained the animals and the landscape with great enthusiasm. We especially appreciated how he always secured a good spot for us to observe the wildlife.
We give Axis Africa our highest rating: 5 out of 5 stars. We would gladly travel with them again!

Exceptional service from start to finish
We had an absolutely wonderful 5-day safari experience covering Lake Nakuru National Park and Masai Mara. Everything was exceptionally well organised, and the entire experience was smooth, comfortable and completely hassle-free. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
Right from the beginning, Lucy was incredibly helpful and responsive. From sharing quotes and arranging vouchers to answering our numerous questions, she made the entire planning process seamless. Her responses were always prompt, clear and helpful. Although we had only booked transportation and safari services through them, Lucy went above and beyond to assist us with accommodation-related queries as well, which we truly appreciated. It was reassuring to have someone so dependable throughout the planning process.
The highlight of our experience, however, was our safari guide, Raymond. We spent five incredible days with him, and he played a huge role in making this trip so memorable. His knowledge of Lake Nakuru National Park, Masai Mara, the wildlife and their natural habitats was truly exceptional. What made the experience even more special was that he didn’t just help us spot animals; he took the time to explain their behaviour, instincts, interactions and the little details we would otherwise have completely missed.
Thanks to Raymond’s experience, patience and expertise, we were fortunate enough to spot all of the Big Five in Masai Mara, along with the Ugly Five! We had some absolutely incredible wildlife sightings, and his ability to anticipate animal movements and understand their behaviour made every game drive exciting. It was evident that he genuinely knew the parks and was passionate about what he did.
Beyond his wildlife expertise, Raymond was extremely professional, punctual and easy to communicate with. He was always on time, often even before the agreed time, and ensured that everything ran smoothly throughout the five days. We never had to follow up, worry about logistics or deal with any last-minute surprises.
The safari vehicle was also excellent — clean, comfortable and well-maintained, which made a huge difference considering the long hours spent on game drives and travelling between destinations.
What stood out most was how effortless the entire experience felt. From the initial planning with Lucy to the last day with Raymond, everything was handled with care, professionalism and attention to detail. There wasn’t a single hiccup throughout our trip.
A huge thank you to Lucy and Raymond for making our Kenyan safari such a memorable experience. We returned with incredible memories, some unbelievable wildlife sightings and a much deeper appreciation for the animals and their natural environment.
Would wholeheartedly recommend their services to anyone planning a safari in Kenya. If you’re fortunate enough to have Raymond as your guide, you’re in excellent hands!

Fabulous 7 day tour in Kenya
We booked a 7 day tour with Axis Africa Safari. The booking process was friendly and we were guided through all the different options they offered. Our guide, Peter Kapino, was extremely knowledgeable about all the animals and birds we saw in every location; he explained everything in great detail. In addition, Peter Kapino was helpful and accommodating throughout the entire tour, spending time looking for the Big Five and allowing us as much time as we wanted to view them. Peter Kapino even managed to locate the cheetah as well as the illusive black rhino and the leopard. The whole tour was a fabulous experience with Peter Kapino negotiating all the roads with his expert driving skills. Thank you to Peter Kapino and Axis Africa Safari for such a comfortable and relaxing holiday., which was good value for money. I would highly recommend them to any customer.

An Excellent Safari Experience with Axis Africa Safari
We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Axis Africa Safaris, and we couldn’t recommend them highly enough! A huge part of what made our safari so special was our guide, Peter Kapino, who was outstanding from start to finish.
From our initial communications through to the end of the tour, everything was smooth, professional, and reliable. Peter Kapino was always friendly, responsive, and helpful, making us feel confident that we were in good hands. He was incredibly patient with all our questions, took the time to explain things clearly, and was flexible and accommodating to our needs throughout the experience. His knowledge, professionalism, and genuinely friendly personality made the whole trip even more enjoyable.
The safari itself was truly impressive. We were fortunate enough to see every animal we hoped to see, which was a remarkable experience. Peter Kapino’s sharp eye, excellent knowledge of the wildlife, and ability to spot animals made a huge difference. He also had a great relationship with other safari drivers, who communicated with one another over the radio and worked together to help locate animals. This teamwork, combined with Peter’s own expertise, meant we had some incredible wildlife sightings and got the very most out of our safari.
The service throughout was excellent, and the reliability gave us real peace of mind. Everything was handled efficiently, and we always felt well looked after. The value for money was good, especially considering the quality of the guiding, the service we received, and how memorable the overall experience was.

The safari tour far exceeded all my expectations.
