Amazing Safari Experience
We had an amazing safari experience in Kenya, and a big part of it was thanks to our guide, Rodgers.
Throughout the entire trip, Rodgers was incredibly professional, patient and responsible. We spent many long hours on the road between the different national parks, and he was always energetic, reliable and made sure we were comfortable and safe.
During the game drives, he was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and had a great eye for spotting animals. He always tried his best to help us see as much as possible, while never making us feel rushed. We learned so much from him about the animals, the parks and Kenya along the way.
What we appreciated most was how genuinely kind and easygoing Rodgers was. After spending six days together, it felt less like travelling with a guide and more like travelling with a friend.
Thank you, Rodgers, for taking such good care of us and for making our first safari such a memorable experience. We will definitely remember this trip for a very long time. Highly recommended! 🦁🐘🦒🇰🇪

Wonderful trip
I had an amazing safari experience in Masai Mara, Amboseli and Lake Nakuru! Our guide, Rodgers, was incredibly responsible, friendly and knowledgeable about wildlife. He was always quick to spot animals and shared lots of interesting facts with us. He worked really hard, driving long hours every day to make sure we had the best experience possible. His English was excellent, and communication was always easy and enjoyable. He was also very cheerful and talkative, which made the whole trip even more fun. Highly recommend Rogers as a safari guide!

The safari went very well; Axis offers excellent value for money. Kelvin, the guide, was fantastic and helpful—he explained things and shared a lot of information about the animals, while giving us plenty of time to enjoy the experience and take photos. Best of all, we got to see the "Big Five" (and the "Ugly Five" too).

Very satisfied with the safari experience
We have had amazing days in Maasai Mara, and are happy with the service from Axis Africa. Mimi Kelvin has done a solid job as guide, taking us safely to the park and doing a super job at finding the animals. Accommodation is decent, with private bathrooms in the tents and food somewhat better than expected (we went for option 2, seems to be rather limited differences between them)

Amazing! Enthusiastic and nice guide who spotted all the animals we wanted and more
My experience was amazing. I booked a three-day safari in the Masai Mara, and I was worried it wouldn’t be enough. However, my guide, Yasin, made sure we spotted all the animals we wanted to see. In less than two days, he showed us the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo), which can be really hard to spot all together. We even saw two lions hunting.
We also saw lots of baby animals, which we absolutely loved, and two cheetahs: one pregnant and another with cubs. Apart from these incredible sightings, we saw plenty of hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, and, of course, Timon and Pumbaa haha
We were so lucky to see the animals just a few metres away, giving us amazing views of everything (although I would still recommend bringing binoculars). Yasin was also super respectful of the wildlife and never harassed the animals, which we really appreciated. He was incredibly supportive throughout the trip and always made sure we were doing well. We had to catch a flight on the last day, and he made sure we arrived at the airport on time. We really appreciated how thoughtful and helpful he was throughout the whole experience.
I went with my partner, but I think this safari is also perfect for solo travelers and families. We stayed at Wild Nest Camp, which was lovely too. The food was really good, but make sure to lock your tent during the day to prevent monkeys from sneaking in.
We felt like we were inside Disney’s The Lion King the entire time :)

Amazing experience with Yasin
We had an amazing experience. 100% recommended. Our guide, Yasin, picked us in our hotel in Nairobi, and took us directly to the Masai Mara after a brief stop for lunch on the road. Even after arriving in the afternoon, Yasin was able to show us 4 of the Big 5, including an incredible close look of a Leopard. And we were there for just 4h. The Next day, we started much earlier in the morning, and we got to see a female cheetah with 5 newly born cubs. That same day, we got to see another one more closely to the point It walked Next to our car. Also, later on, we had the amazing experience of looking, in two different times, lions in action trying to hunt. Overall, we got to see all the Big 5 very closely, and many more species. Regarding Yasin, he has been an amazing guide for us, explaining in details all of our questions, always looking for the better atttaction, and always tacking care of us. If you have the option of choosing, I would definetly recommend him.

Unforgettable 3-Day Amboseli Safari with Johnny!
I highly recommend booking with Axis Africa, especially if you get Johnny as your driver! I just completed an incredible 3-day, 2-night trip to Amboseli, and Johnny truly made it a fantastic experience.
From the very start, he was perfectly on time. His driving skills are outstanding, and I felt completely safe at every single moment, even while navigating the bumpy African roads. Johnny went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. He has an incredible eye for spotting wildlife, knowing exactly where to look—especially when it came to finding the elephants! He was incredibly patient, always willing to wait for us to get the perfect pictures and positioning the vehicle in the best spots.
I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this experience. Thank you, Johnny and Axis Africa, for an unforgettable safari!

Great safari and best value for the given price
The tour started on time, we were picked promptly at our hotel and then we started the long road to Masai Mara not long after paying for the whole trip.
Our guide Robert was prompt, he had a safe driving style which was greatly appreciated given the traffic in Kenya.
We did not manage to see any rhino, but we got to see a leopard on the first day which I know that is pretty rare. Robert did his best to show as many animals, events and views as he could.
He also explained things about animals, history of the locals, etc. Sometimes we had to ask him about certain things, but his answers were good.
Indications during the trip were not given but would have been appreciated, things like: we are heading for this or that, we are heading back to camp, etc.
