Amazing esperience (Yasin Number One)
We are just finishing our safari with Axis and Yasin. It has been a wonderful experience, impossible to describe in words, except for the beautiful memories we will take home with us.
We chose a group safari, creating an incredible mix of cultures and smiles that we would never have experienced if we had traveled alone.
Yasin is a professional and highly knowledgeable ranger with a true passion for his work. His desire to teach us about animal life and help us see as much as possible went far beyond the many hours spent on his Land Rover (Naturally we saw all the big Five )He was truly perfect from start to finish. Thank you, Yasin—without you, this safari would not have been the same.
The lodges were well maintained and very well organized.

Got to see all the animals (except rhino but that’s very rare) so we had a great time!
The organization was great, punctual pick up from the hotel and good introduction at the office. The camp (option 2) was also amazing and the whole trip had excellent value for money with a longer than expected game drive on the first day, good food and a nice and comfortable land cruiser. The tour itself was also successful as we got to see all animals and our guide got us to the best spots. However, we would have liked to hear a bit more from him about the animals/environment. He was on the phone and/or radio a lot which we assume he did to hear about other animal locations but often it felt like just random conversations and chatting to friends. When on the phone it also didn’t feel like he was looking out for animals that much, sometimes we had to spot them and tell him for him to notice. Also, when being with animals it would have been nice to turn radio and phone off to be in the moment and tell us guests a little bit about the animals. We always had to ask if we wanted to know something which felt a bit weird, especially with him being on the phone a lot. Generally, some more communication with us guests would have been nice, to hear about what the plan is, where we are going next and so on. On the second day for example we went back to the camp earlier than expected without knowing that we were heading back. Turns out this was the plan from the beginning since we started very early and that concluded the full day game drive but it would just have been nice to know that beforehand because we ended up being a bit surprised. Just a bit more engagement with the guests in general would be beneficial I think! To conclude, these are all minor issues and we still had an amazing time and can definitely recommend going with Axis!

Helpful
We were very satisfied with our safari experience. Since we had lunch on the way, we went straight to the game drive. We saw many animals already on the first evening. The accommodation was in rather simple tents, but everything we needed was provided. Our driver, Sadam, was very helpful.
Great experience
I had a great experience with Axis Africa Expeditions & Safaris. I would to add that our driver/guide Sadam did his best and showed us everything in the park. Sadly, we haven’t found rhinos, but that wasn’t his fault. We always had perfect spots for photos and overall
wonderful play games for two days. Our lodge, Wild Nest, was exceptional as well. I can highly recommend to book your next safari with Axis, you will not be disappointed!
Good choice
Our trip turned out to be truly amazing from start to finish. Everything was well organized, clear, and thoughtfully planned, which allowed us to fully relax and simply enjoy the journey.
What we especially appreciated was how the program was created together with the agency. They really listened to our wishes and built a well-balanced and logical itinerary around them. As a result, the trip felt very personal and comfortable — we never had to worry about logistics or details, everything was taken care of.
The journey lasted 10 days and took us through Nairobi, Amboseli National Park, Lake Nakuru, Maasai Mara, Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro, and finally Arusha, which was our final destination. The route was perfectly paced and incredibly diverse, offering a full and rich safari experience.
A special mention goes to our guide, Nelson — though everyone called him Simba. He was fantastic: knowledgeable, calm, and very attentive. He never overwhelmed us with information, but whenever we had questions, he always had clear and insightful answers. Thanks to him, every day felt easy, engaging, and enjoyable.
Overall, the trip exceeded our expectations. It was smooth, thoughtfully organized, and genuinely memorable. We felt well cared for throughout the entire journey and would absolutely recommend this program and team to anyone looking for a comfortable and meaningful safari experience.

Best Safari experience ever!
We booked the 4d3n Masai Mara and Nakuru Safari very well in advance. All of the communication was good and all questions answered.
To sum it up, this is the perfect safari, even better than I've imagined it.
The parks, wildlife and scenery speak for themselves, they're amazing. Each has their own unique highlights. Masai Mara is full of wildlife, Nakuru has Rhinos and very pretty forests. The optional Naivasha boat safari was fun too!
What made this trip truly outstanding was our driver and guide Yasin. Without his knowledge we'd have missed most of the animal sightings. Yasin always went out of his way to ensure the very best possible experience for us and is just a very nice guy and amazing driver!
Even we spent a lot of hours in the car, it didn't get boring even once.
Would love to come back some day to do this safari again

John Mwangi - great, competent and available guide.
Two nights safari - 1.5 game drive Masai Mara. (Budget)
The Safari was awesome our guide: John, always allowed us promptly to see all the kind and rare animals, explaining some facts about them and always positioning in the best spots to see the faces of the animals, foreseeing where they could go and always looking to NOT harass them.
During the safari we manage to see all the big 5 (4 groups of lions), 2 cheetahs, etc.
The accommodation even if it was a budget one was good, the room was fully finished and comfortable (during the night you could hear hyenas and other animals, and this made it even better for the experience), the food though was not incredible but fine, just as what we expected!
Strongly advice to choose Axis Africa, good value for money, and if you can ask to be with John. :)

Excellent!
ilip, a representative from Axis Africa who took my booking was so patient and helpful through the booking process. He answered all my questions and worked with my budget.
Sadam, our tour guide for the Safari was absolutely excellent! If I could give him a 10 star, I would. He was friendly, helpful, communicative, and good vibes that made the tour even more memorable.
I would 100% recommend Axis Africa!

Extraordinary, A+ service
Nothing I write here can come even close to the level of commitment by our driver Rodger and organization of safari by Axis Africa. We opted for big Toyota and private tour and I would do it all over again. Rodger is fluent in english and very knowledgeable about every animal we encountered. Sharp eyed and comitted so we see all of the Big five (even saw leopard 2 times!) and ugly five too! Nothing was a problem for him, never late stopped every time we needed and gave us excellent recommendations. Car was always equipped with bottles of water and working chargers.
Driver and his knowledge is very important part of safari experience and we couldn't ask for better one than Rodger. Thank you for incredible journey!
