Our experience with **Axis Africa** was simply extraordinary. From the very first moment, they demonstrated impeccable organization, attentive service, and great professionalism, taking care of every detail to make our trip unforgettable.
But if there was one person who made all the difference, it was our driver and guide, **Collin Sempele**. His knowledge of the terrain, the wildlife, and animal behavior is exceptional. Thanks to his experience and intuition, he took us to privileged locations within the **Masai Mara**, **Naivasha**, and **Amboseli** national parks, allowing us to experience unique moments and make sightings that we would have been unlikely to achieve otherwise.
As a photographer, I especially appreciated his training and photographic sensitivity. The best Afica safari Experience with Axis and guide Geeman
It was a nice Afican experience safari. Me and my daughter we really appreciate Axis for planning our life time memorable trip for 7days.masai mara ,nakuru,Naivasha and Amboseli. We saw all the big five and we also saw lion cabs that made my daughter happy,I would like to thank our guide Geeman for making our safari memorable. I highly recommend Axis Africa

A jolly good fella!
Hello there traveller! Have you heard of the song, he's a jolly good fellow... well yes, Axis Safari, represented by Winnie and driven by Julius were a jolly good team for 6 wildlife photographers from Delhi India including a 78 year old except for the challenges we faced written below with proof: 1. Limited water supply: Bottles of 500 ml given to each traveller, at best 3/4 bottles a day. Mind you, the outside temperature was 38C plus in Kenya during June 2026. 2. Our jolly good driver Julius was so homely, lively and honest it was a pleasure to be with him. However, he isn't ideal for photographers who need different angles, sense of lighting and patience to wait till the best frame and composition appears. 3. The land cruiser had AC and was not used despite a 10 hour 36C 40% humidity long drive where we reached Amboseli from Nairobi after a 10 hr drive! As a result, we lost fluids, health battery and ability to enjoy the long trip and got super tired with a 78 year old. 4. The car Julius drove was solid enough to go through any terrain, but was not well built, not comfortable, not repaired well, no ac and not maintained. There were far better cars available with others in the same price. As a family, Julius and the team are super apt! As professional photographers this is where I would call again. Amazing experience
Our guide, Peter, was truly exceptional throughout the safari. He was not only very knowledgeable about the wildlife and the ecosystem, but also incredibly attentive, kind and supportive in every situation. He had a natural way of explaining things that made the experience feel meaningful and easy to understand.
As I was travelling solo, I especially appreciated how welcoming and friendly he was — at times it felt like travelling with a friend rather than a guide. He made me feel comfortable, safe, and included, while still giving me space to fully enjoy the experience.

We recently returned from a 3-day safari in the Masai Mara and could not have asked for a better guide than Peter Ngigi. From start to finish, Peter was absolutely excellent—he is the perfect blend of friendly, professional, and deeply knowledgeable.
What really set Peter apart was his incredible intuition and skill on the ground. He had an uncanny ability to know exactly where to be and when, ensuring we were always in the right place to witness the best wildlife action. When we arrived at a sighting, his ability to maneuver the vehicle into the perfect position for photography was second to none. Thanks to him, we came home with some truly spectacular shots.

Excellent quality trip
We were thoroughly impressed by Axis Africa Safaris! They were very responsive, reliable and thorough with their initial information, flexible to accommodate our budget and needs. Our guide, Ahmed, was very knowledgeable and flexible throughout the safari days. We booked a 2-day safari trip to Masai Mara and saw the big 4 (minus a black rhino) and an abundance of wild life, including lions, cheetahs, giraffes, elephants, buffalo, waterbuck, zebras, impalas, warthogs and lots of birds. Ahmed communicated with other guides and changed routes to give us the best experience possible. He took a bunch of amazing photos with a professional camera and shared them with us. What a treat! Our camp was great too. We stayed at the Wild Nest and they took good care of us, providing generous packed lunches and decent buffet breakfasts and dinners. Overall, Axis Safaris organized a fantastic trip for us and we highly recommend them!
