An Absolutely Incredible Safari Experience! Outstanding Organization, Amazing Wildlife, and Exceptional Service from Kennedy and Eric!
We had an absolutely unforgettable experience with Bienvenido Kenya Tours and Safaris, and we honestly can recommend this company! Everything was perfectly organized from beginning to end, and what started as an unexpected long layover in Nairobi turned into one of the most memorable experiences of our travels.
My wife and I had an unexpectedly long layover in Nairobi, and instead of spending the entire time at the airport or hotel, we decided to see if we could arrange a private half-day safari in Nairobi National Park. The challenge was that we had almost no time to organize anything in advance!
We arrived in Nairobi at approximately 7:00 AM, and around 8:00 AM, we contacted Kennedy from Bienvenido Kenya Tours and Safaris to ask whether it would be possible to arrange a private four-hour safari, with pickup from our hotel in approximately one hour.
To our surprise, Kennedy managed to organize absolutely everything within an incredibly short amount of time! His communication was excellent - fast, professional, friendly, and extremely efficient. He immediately confirmed availability, explained all the details, provided a clear breakdown of the total cost, and arranged our transportation.
What we particularly appreciated was the complete transparency regarding pricing. Everything was discussed and agreed upon in advance, and there were absolutely no hidden fees, unexpected charges, or additional payments during the trip. The price we were quoted was exactly what we paid.
Despite the extremely short notice, our driver and guide arrived at our hotel exactly at the agreed time. Everything was perfectly punctual, which was especially important for us because we had a limited amount of time before our next flight.
We had booked a private safari, meaning the entire vehicle was reserved exclusively for my wife and me. This made the experience incredibly comfortable and personal. We could enjoy the wildlife, take photographs, and explore the park at our own pace without having to accommodate other tourists.
Bottled drinking water was provided, and everything was ready for our adventure. Once we arrived at Nairobi National Park, the registration and entry process was handled quickly and efficiently, without unnecessary delays.
And then the real adventure began!
We would especially like to express our huge appreciation and gratitude to our incredible guide, Eric!
Eric was absolutely fantastic! He was friendly, professional, patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about wildlife and nature. Throughout the entire safari, he shared fascinating information about the animals, their habitats, their behavior, and the ecosystem of Nairobi National Park.
He clearly knew the park extremely well, including where different animals were most likely to be found. Thanks to his experience, knowledge, and excellent observation skills, we managed to see an absolutely astonishing number of animals in just four hours!
During our safari, we were lucky enough to see:
- White rhinoceroses and black rhinoceroses!
- Lions!
- Giraffes!
- Zebras!
- African buffaloes!
- Hippopotamuses!
- Crocodiles!
- Warthogs!
- Various species of antelopes!
- An incredible variety of beautiful birds!
And many other fascinating animals along the way!
We genuinely never expected to encounter such an incredible diversity of wildlife during a safari lasting only four hours. It was far beyond our expectations!
Seeing these magnificent animals in their natural environment was an absolutely breathtaking experience. Every new encounter brought another wave of excitement, and we were constantly amazed by how much wildlife we were able to observe in such a relatively short period.
Another thing that made our experience so special was Eric's flexibility and patience.
Whenever we spotted an animal that we wanted to observe for a little longer, take more photographs of, or simply enjoy watching, Eric was always happy to stop and give us as much time as possible. We never felt rushed or pressured to move on.
He made sure that the safari was tailored to our interests and that we could fully enjoy every moment. His attitude made the entire experience feel incredibly relaxed, personal, and enjoyable.
It was also wonderful to experience the atmosphere of Nairobi National Park. We never felt surrounded by crowds of tourists, and having a private vehicle allowed us to enjoy the beautiful landscapes and wildlife in a peaceful and comfortable environment.
What impressed us most was how seamlessly everything came together, especially considering that the entire safari was arranged at the very last minute, with less than an hour between our initial request and the scheduled hotel pickup!
From the very first message to Kennedy until the end of our safari, everything was handled with exceptional professionalism.
We would particularly like to highlight:

- Excellent punctuality - our pickup was arranged at extremely short notice, and the vehicle arrived exactly when promised.

What could easily have been an exhausting and boring layover in Nairobi became one of the absolute highlights of our trip.
If you are visiting Kenya, even if you only have a few hours available during a layover, we wholeheartedly recommend contacting Bienvenido Kenya Tours and Safaris. You do not necessarily need several days to experience the incredible wildlife of Kenya. Even a short, well-organized safari can create memories that will last a lifetime.

I had a great time with this tour and the guide Jeff. That was my first safari so I didn’t know what exactly to expect but what I received ticked all boxes.
Jeff was a good driver, he made sure the group is comfortable and is getting what we were all here for.

great 8d safari experience with Bienvenido Kenya Tours and Safaris
Our adventure with Bienvenido Tours & Safaris lasted 8 days. Together with our guide, Joshua, we visited 4 national parks (Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Hell’s Gate and Amboseli) as well as Lake Naivasha.
The excellent organization, Joshua’s incredible guiding skills and his extensive knowledge allowed us to discover some of the most beautiful places in Kenya.
We would also like to say a big thank you to Kennedy, who was extremely helpful from the very beginning, including helping us purchase our train tickets.
We highly recommend Bienvenido to anyone who wants to discover the incredible wildlife and natural beauty of Kenya.

Not transparent, bad guide
I want to preface this with the fact that I overall still enjoyed the safari, understand the budget price point, and had good communication with the agency via email prior to the tour.
That being said, my guide (Moses) was very unengaged, unprofessional, and did not respect or listen to multiple people in my group. He got in an argument with another woman in my group when she voiced frustrations about his lack of communication each day when plans would change. Multiple times, he had me go into another vehicle with a guide he wouldn't introduce me to or dropped me off somewhere saying he would come back soon with no clear timing and no way of contacting him. As a woman traveling alone, I find this disappointing and unacceptable.

The best days of my life
Going on a safari with this company was the best decision. The organization was top-notch. I highly recommend our driver, Daniel. He had extensive knowledge of the animals and knew exactly where to go to see as many different species as possible. Even when we saw the smallest animals, he gave us as much time as we needed to take photos and observe them.

I am writing to express my deepest gratitude on this final day of our wonderful 6-day, 5-night safari tour, and especially to give high praise to our driver and guide, Eric. Thanks to him, this trip has become an unforgettable experience of a lifetime.
Eric is truly an exceptional and top-notch driver. Right on our very first day in Maasai Mara, his incredible spotting skills allowed us to see four of the Big Five. He managed to locate a leopard before anyone else, arriving first at the spot while other safari vehicles followed behind. Then on day two at Lake Nakuru, he found a rhino, meaning we amazingly completed the entire Big Five in just two days!
Another huge highlight was in Amboseli. Eric departed before dawn so we could take in the breathtaking view of Mount Kilimanjaro in the morning light. He spotted a herd of elephants marching with Kilimanjaro in the background and secured the absolute best position ahead of everyone else, allowing me to capture spectacular photos and videos. On top of that, he spotted two lion cubs and expertly maneuvered the vehicle—even reversing so we could get an even better, closer look right in front of us. His driving skills and attentiveness to our viewing experience were truly wonderful.
He was always number one at spotting wildlife and always brought us to the best vantage points first. Thank you so much for introducing such a fantastic driver to us. I will definitely recommend this company and Eric to my friends and family!
