Musa was the best! So patient, knowledgeable and hardworking to give us the best experience possible
Lion king was amazing, so happy we chose them for our safari company! Great communication and their staff was so memorable! We came back. After TWO weeks. And to be honest… that says everything🦁❤️
After our first safari with Lion’s King Adventure, we left for Zanzibar and were genuinely so sad to say goodbye. If you haven’t read our first review yet, we already wrote about our first five-day adventure with Lion’s King, because honestly, that trip deserves its own story too ️ We had such an incredible time that, while sitting in Zanzibar thinking about the rest of our Tanzania trip, we suddenly thought: Wait… why don’t we go back to the Serengeti?
It was migration season. Northern Serengeti. River crossings. We still had four days unplanned. And somehow, that felt like a sign.
The only question was the budget. But then we decided: it’s worth every single cent.
There was just one thing we really wanted to make sure of before booking: Fredrick had to be available. Not because we don’t trust the amazing Lion’s King team or think someone else couldn’t give us a fantastic safari but after our first trip, Fredrick had become much more than our guide. He had become our friend. And honestly, if he hadn’t been free, we probably would have stayed in Zanzibar ️
So we secretly contacted Rebecca again, “Please don’t tell Fredrick!” explained what we could do budget-wise, made sure Freddie could join us, and somehow, once again, she made the impossible possible. In an insanely short amount of time, she created a plan that worked for us. Thank you, dada
And then came the reunion.
Fredrick had driven 11 hours from Arusha to Northern Serengeti to pick us up at the airport. When he saw us, he was genuinely in shock: “WHAT?! You came back after TWO WEEKS?!” He was kinda speechless for a while
Apparently, we were the first Lion’s King guests ever to come back after just two weeks. And honestly, we’re kind of proud of that ️
And then Northern Serengeti basically said: Welcome back.
Within our first three hours, we saw three river crossings including a crocodiles taking down a wildebeest. The next morning: two more crossings. Lions. Elephants. Leopard. Wildlife everywhere.
And then, on day three, the ultimate plot twist: three cheetahs hunting and taking down a wildebeest right in front of us.
Insane. Unreal. Unforgettable.
We know nature is never guaranteed. Migration, crossings, hunts: you need timing, patience, luck and, most importantly, respect for the animals. We feel incredibly lucky and deeply grateful for everything we witnessed. Having been in South Africa for four Safaris, Tanzania Serengeti is a very unique place. We even crossed the boarder to Kenya and saw elephant boarder crossing
But once again, the Lion’s King team made the experience what it was.

And Freddie… what can we even say anymore?
At this point, hanging out with Fredrick doesn’t even feel like having a guide. It feels like spending time with a friend. The safari just happens around us. More stories, more music, more DJ moments, more Swahili lessons, more inside jokes and somehow, another four days that we never wanted to end.
When Freddie dropped us off, we were literally standing there crying, waving goodbye. One of the guides saw us, looked at us and said:
“Oh no… this is the end of a really good story.”
We were nodding through the tears. But honestly? I don’t think it’s the end of a good story. I think it’s the beginning ️
And James…
We already heard about the new permanent Nyota opening in Northern Serengeti around September next year. Just saying: we would have stayed there this year if it existed already. So we’re officially putting our invitation request in advance
James, consider this your very subtle reminder. We’ll be ready ️
Lion’s King Adventure: thank you, again, for giving us something we never expected: not just another safari, but another chapter with people who genuinely feel like friends.
We left Northern Serengeti in tears.
We left Tanzania with full hearts.

Exceptional service, seamless planning and an outstanding private safari with Hamadi.
We booked our honeymoon safari with Lion King Adventures and had an exceptional experience from start to finish. Communication with the office was always quick, friendly and uncomplicated, and we especially appreciated being able to ask last-minute questions directly via WhatsApp. Everything felt well organised, reliable and very personal.
Our guide Hamadi was outstanding. His knowledge of the animals, their behaviour and the national parks was excellent, and he was clearly very well connected with other guides and lodge staff, which helped us make the most of every day. At the same time, he always showed great respect for the wildlife and nature.
What we loved most was that the safari never felt like a standard package. Hamadi adapted the days to our interests and created a genuinely tailored experience across Tarangire, Lake Manyara, the Serengeti and Ngorongoro.
The accommodation, logistics and overall service were excellent, and we felt the trip offered very good value for money. For us it was a 10/10 honeymoon experience, and we would happily recommend Lion King Adventures to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania.

Outstanding, one of a kind safari experience
We enjoyed a once in a lifetime, 6-day best value safari in Tanzania. It was well organized by Lion King Adventures from start to finish. They provided tons of valuable, pre-flight information, prepping and saving us from unpleasant surprises. We requested a dual language guide (Spanish and English), and Lion King delivered. His name is Ven and he truly knows how to make his safari guests happy. Besides many others, we also saw the big 5 in their natural habitat, some of which only Ven discovered with other guides following his lead. We are truly grateful to both Lion King and Ven for these unique days which we will treasure and never forget. A very recommendable organisation, worth every penny. Thank you!

The service we received from Lion King Adventures was exceptional - it couldn't be bettered.
We had never been on a Safari before.and we had never been to Africa. So, we were totally dependent on our tour operator to plan where we would visit, when and where we would stay.
We dealt with Elia and Naurey for the administrative side of our trip. They were very professional, they always answered our queries straight away and tailored our trip to perfectly meet our needs. They provided us with all the information we needed about our trip and about what we needed to do prior to our trip - such as which vaccinations we needed and when, additional insurances etc.
All airport transfers and pickups ran smoothly and the drivers were very friendly and helpful.
Salim was our Safari guide. He was excellent! We couldn't have asked for better. He was so knowledgeable, so caring, so friendly and so patient. It was like being driven round by a good friend. He worked so hard to ensure we got the most out of our trip. From experience, he knew where to find animals and birds etc. and what they would do next, so he always managed to get us in a good spot to capture the perfect photo. We told Salim that we weren't just interested in the big 5 as we loved all creatures, so he was constantly scanning the surroundings pointing out lilac rollers, eagles, kingfishers, lizards. Salim did make sure that we saw the Big 5 too. Prior to our trip, we had hoped that we would see certain birds and animals. We did! And so much more!
Entry to all the parks was seamless as Lion King had sorted everything beforehand. We visited Tarangire, the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara. We stayed two nights in the Serengeti and that was our favourite place. Hearing the animals in the night was something special.
All the accomodations that Lion King arranged were wonderful - we particularly loved the Nyota Luxury Tented camp in the Serengeti.
Lion King Adventures did an incredible job arranging our adventure of a lifetime and we would highly recommend them.

Flawless Booking Experience and an Incredible Guide
Out of four safari companies we contacted, this was the only one that catered to our custom requests from day one, while the rest just sent standard quotes. Every change we requested was updated immediately, and all our questions were answered the same day. Outstanding customer service!
A special mention goes to our driver and guide, Hasan. He was simply perfect for us. He respected our privacy while seamlessly anticipating our needs. His English was brilliant, and he often knew what we wanted before we even asked. Hasan is extremely knowledgeable, highly experienced, and wonderfully patient. Plus, his driving style was exceptionally safe and smooth.
We couldn't have asked for a better experience or a better guide!

Amazing
Me and my wife did three days of Safari with Lion King Adventures including Seregenti, Ngorongoro and lake Mayara in September 2026.
The price was very good comparing to other operators and also all the support before and during the tour was really good. They promptly responded every time.
We got the luxury tour so we stayed at Nyota Rift Valley and Nyota Serengeti and both accommodations were amazing, highly recommend them.
Our tour guide was Musa, he was awesome and very good at guiding us through the parks and also at explaining the cultural aspects of Tanzania. It was an amazing experience. We were very lucky to get very good weather all the three days and we managed to see all big five so it was really a lifetime experience and we highly recommend both the agency and tour guide.

An unforgettable honeymoon safari with an exceptional guide Enock Hubert
This safari was absolutely magnificent and the perfect experience for our honeymoon. From the very beginning, everything was extremely well organized, including the airport pick-up, which was punctual and seamless.
But the real highlight of our trip was our guide, Enoch Hubert. There are simply not enough words to describe his kindness, professionalism, knowledge and dedication. From the very first day, Hubert showed enormous respect for nature, the animals and, most importantly, our wishes and expectations.
On our first day in Tarangire National Park, he did everything possible to help us spot zebras, giraffes and elephants, and we were even lucky enough to see lionesses just a few meters away from us. It was an incredible start to our safari.
We then visited the Ngorongoro Crater, where Hubert took us to an incredible sighting of a group of five black rhinos. We also saw buffaloes, wildebeest and so many other species that Tanzania has to offer.
The following days were spent exploring the Central Serengeti, and the experiences were simply unforgettable. We saw leopards, cheetahs with their tiny cubs, giraffes fighting for the attention of a female, and even around 20 lions feeding on their prey. Every day brought something completely different and extraordinary.
What made the experience even more special was Hubert’s ability to understand what we wanted and patiently look for the best possible sightings without ever losing his respect for the animals and their environment.
Everything was incredible, unique and far beyond what we could have imagined for our honeymoon. We truly could not have chosen a better guide than Enoch Hubert for this adventure.
Thank you, Hubert, for making our honeymoon safari an experience we will remember for the rest of our lives!

Lion KING were fantastic in both planning and organising the trip, from the pre-departure arrangements – they were always available and attentive – right through to the choice of parks and accommodation, which were truly magnificent, though nothing compared to our guide, Frank Singo. He was exceptional, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
I hope to go back soon, especially to sleep in the Serengeti – it’s brilliant
