Professional, responsive, reliable and friendly - Lion King Adventures has made me a safari convert!
I travelled with a friend and as two female travellers, we spent a lot of time researching safari operators before choosing
Lion King Adventures for a 4-day, 3-night safari covering Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro
Crater, Central Serengeti and Lake Manyara in September 2026. Looking back, choosing Lion
King was one of the best decisions we made for our trip to Tanzania.
I'll admit that before arriving, I wasn't just hesitant about going on safari; I was genuinely
terrified!! However, Lion King Adventures' professionalism, organisation and customer service
quickly put me at ease and completely transformed the experience. By the end of the trip, I was
wondering why I hadn't done a safari sooner.
From the planning stage the team was responsive, accommodating and genuinely interested in
ensuring the itinerary met our needs. A special thank you to Riziki, who was incredibly helpful
during the proposal and booking process and to Rose, whose attentive aftercare and follow-up
were equally impressive.
What really stood out were the thoughtful touches that elevated the entire experience. On Day
1, we were surprised with a bottle of wine accompanied by a personalised message during
lunch, which was such a lovely and unexpected gesture. We also appreciated that our picnic
lunches weren't just packed boxes. We were treated to freshly cooked food served with proper
plates, cutlery and even a picnic tablecloth. It may seem like a small detail, but it made every
lunch stop feel special.
The accommodations selected by Lion King, Nyota Rift Valley and Land of Nature Camp;
were excellent and went beyond what we expected to experience on a safari (They will get their
own reviews).
The true highlight of our trip, however; was our guide and driver, Godbless. From the moment
he picked us up he was warm, engaging, patient and endlessly knowledgeable. He shared
fascinating information not only about the wildlife and ecosystems but also about Tanzania, its
culture, history, and everyday life. No question was too small and he always took the time to
provide thoughtful answers.
As a safari guide, his skills were simply remarkable. My friend and I became convinced that his
sunglasses had magical powers. Time after time, he would stop the vehicle, gaze towards what
looked like an empty patch of bush or distant horizon, and ask, "Do you see it?" We would scan
the area with binoculars, follow his directions and eventually spot the animal he had somehow
identified immediately. His ability to locate wildlife was extraordinary.
Of course, he ensured that we saw the Big Five, but what impressed us most was that he
understood a safari is about more than a checklist of animals. There were moments when he
would park the vehicle, switch off the engine and simply allow us to experience the beauty of the
wilderness. Sitting quietly, feeling the breeze, listening to nature and appreciating the stillness of
the landscape became some of the most memorable moments of the entire trip.
Lion King Adventures delivered an experience that was professional, personal and exceptionally
well organised from beginning to end. I would recommend them without hesitation, especially to
first-time safari travellers and women travelling together. If possible, ask for Godbless to be your
driver/guide. You won’t regret it! Lion King Adventures didn't just show us Tanzania's wildlife;
they helped 2 Trinis fall in love with the safari experience itself.

Perfectly organized safari with exceptional service, amazing wildlife, and unforgettable moments.
Our safari with Lion King Adventures was an absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. From the airport pick-up to the airport drop-off, everything was perfectly organized and ran smoothly.

Throughout the entire trip, we felt safe, well taken care of, and completely relaxed. The food was excellent, and one of the highlights was enjoying lunch in the middle of the Serengeti surrounded by breathtaking scenery and wildlife.
The lodges exceeded our expectations, offering great comfort and beautiful locations. Every detail of the trip was thoughtfully planned, making it a truly memorable adventure.

Fantastic safari
We booked the private 6 Days Mid Range Safari with LionKing Adventures as part of our honeymoon and were absolutely happy with it. Communication with them was easy and straightforward. The selected accommodations were all absolutely amazing.
Our guide Enoch Hubert was an excellent driver and experienced safari guide and knew the best places for finding all animals. He taught us a lot about the wildlife and the people in the Serengeti and the rest of Tanzania. At the end of the travel we were sad that our travel was over, but we had a excellent time and made lots of memories for the rest of our lives.

An exceptional Tanzania safari thanks to our guide Emmanuel!
We went on a 5-day safari in September 2026 with Lion King Adventures, and we had an absolutely exceptional time.
We would like to warmly congratulate and thank our guide, Emmanuel, who was by far the key to the success of this experience. Thanks to him, we learned so much and got the best insights into the animal kingdom and Tanzanian culture.
While we are certain that the agency offers high-quality tours overall, we feel incredibly lucky to have had Emmanuel as our guide. We recommend him without hesitation! At every step of the way, he knew exactly how to find the best spots and perfectly adapt to our wishes, all while bringing a great sense of humor to the trip.

Great communications, service and a smooth experience. We loved our tour with Lion King. The driving, planning and expertise from Frederick our guide were second to none. As an expert photographer he always got us in the best position and always seemed to know where the animals were.

The logistics were flawless!
Our trip was completely stress free. The accommodations were beyond luxurious, the service was genuine and thoughtful to make everything feel truly special. Food was outstanding. Our guide Humad has great english, incredible knowledge, experience and made the trip!
We saw everything we hoped to see and so much more. Elephants, giraffes, lions, cheetahs, rinos, hippos, leopards, buffalo and wildebeests just to name a few. Our guides patience got us up close to so many big game animals. We actually saw the great migration river crossing and all the action associated!
Truly a trip of a lifetime and a great value for our money.

Wonderful journey !
We took a week-long tour through the main national parks in northern Tanzania. Rama (aka King Rama to us) took great care of us and made sure we saw the Big Five and much more. Great trip!

Friendly, informative, helpful in all aspects of our trip.
Very good value for money and proactive from the start. Aspects of the trip were explained in detail (Jovitha and Florida were so helpful) when we planning mainly by email. All our questions were answered promptly.
Our guide (Jackson) was amazing - friendly, great driver, very knowledgeable about the wildlife and the areas we visited. Suggested lots of ideas for our itinerary but was also very flexible.
The lodges were superb, friendly / helpful staff, lovely / comfortable accommodation, tasty food and the swimming pools were a nice addition.

An amazing first safari experience. I loved every moment with Lion King Adventures !
My safari with Lion King Adventures was an absolutely unforgettable experience from beginning to end.
From Tarangire to Ngorongoro and the Serengeti, every day brought incredible moments, breathtaking landscapes and unforgettable encounters with wildlife. As this was my very first safari, I had no idea what to expect, but I honestly could not have dreamed of a better experience.
Everything was perfectly organized. Communication before and during the trip was smooth, efficient and, above all, warm and friendly. A special thank you to Florida, who was always kind, helpful and reassuring. Lion King Adventures takes care of all the practical details so that you can simply enjoy the journey. Everything feels easy, allowing you to forget about logistics and administrative matters and focus entirely on the magic of the safari.
And then there was my guide, Mecky.
What can I say? He was extraordinary. I learned so much from him about animals, wildlife, nature and life in Tanzania. His knowledge is impressive, but what made the experience truly special was his genuine love and respect for wildlife. For someone like me, who loves animals so deeply, I could not have asked for a better guide.
Mecky guided me, advised me, patiently answered my endless questions and taught me something new every single day. We also laughed so much! Those moments of laughter, conversations and shared discoveries became as much a part of my safari memories as the animals themselves. To me, he is simply the best guide in the world, and I feel incredibly lucky that he was the person who introduced me to the wonders of Tanzania.
The vehicle also deserves a mention, because you spend a lot of time in it during a safari. It was always comfortable and spotlessly clean, and Mecky took great care of it throughout the trip.
The camps were magnificent, especially Nyota in the Serengeti, which was truly exceptional. Everywhere I stayed, I was welcomed with incredible kindness and warmth. A very special thank you to Yohana, and to all the hotel and camp teams who did everything possible to make us feel comfortable and cared for.
And the food! Even as a rather picky eater, breakfast, lunch and dinner were a genuine pleasure. The quality, variety and care put into every meal were remarkable.
I honestly cannot think of a single negative point. Everything was designed to make the experience comfortable, seamless and memorable, while allowing us to concentrate on what we had come for: discovering Tanzania, its landscapes and its extraordinary wildlife.
A huge thank you to Mecky, Florida, Yohana and every single person behind the scenes who contributed to this journey. You turned my first safari into one of the most beautiful and unforgettable experiences of my life.
I came to Tanzania dreaming of its wildlife. I left with incredible memories, so much new knowledge, countless moments of laughter, and a little piece of Tanzania in my heart.
