An experience of a lifetime
Booked a 6 day safari with Lion King. Visited 4 different parks. Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorangoro and Manyara. All quite different in terrain. Can't fault the service from Lion King. Our guide was amazing and more than met up to our expectations. He was able to spot and identify animals that, at times we could barely see through our binoculars! Friendly and courteous, he always happy to answer our questions. Accommodation including food was amazing, though a little over indulgent! We went for a mid-priced package but received 5* treatment; a little OTT at times! All in all, a fantastic trip full of happy memories.

Best trip ever
We spent 10 incredible days with Lion King, starting with a visit to Arusha followed by eight days on safari. During our trip, we explored Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti National Park, Lake Manyara, and Tarangire National Park.
This was our honeymoon, and without a doubt, it will remain the most special and unforgettable trip we’ve ever taken.
Our first guide, Sharhan, showed us around Arusha, and he did an amazing job. He was joyful, positive, and shared so much with us about the city’s culture and history. It was the perfect introduction to Tanzania.
For our Kilimanjaro hike, we were accompanied by Saladin. We reached the first camp in a single day, and he made the experience both enjoyable and memorable. He was knowledgeable, encouraging, and adapted the pace to our fitness level. He also had a great sense of humor and taught us a lot about the mountain, its wildlife, and the surrounding nature. We spotted several monkeys along the way and had a fantastic day with him.
Finally, we spent eight days on safari with Amani, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. He was always punctual in the mornings while remaining flexible whenever we were running a little late. His knowledge of the wildlife and the different parks was exceptional. He was an excellent driver, incredibly patient, and always made sure we had the best possible experience.
Not only did he help us spot the Big Five, but we also saw five leopards and two pangolins, something incredibly rare. We truly feel that this trio of guides brought us incredible luck, but the reality is that Amani’s expertise, experience, and ability to read the bush made all the difference. We were also fortunate enough to witness the Great Migration in the north.
One thing we especially appreciated was the respect Amani showed toward the animals. We didn’t want to contribute to overcrowding or stress wildlife with too many vehicles around them. Whenever he saw that too many safari cars had gathered around an animal, he preferred to move on and find another sighting elsewhere rather than add to the disturbance. That meant a lot to us.
We also stayed at Lion King’s lodge in the Serengeti, Nyota, which was truly one of the highlights of our trip. The lodge was beautiful, the staff were incredibly welcoming, and the overall experience was exceptional.
Another memorable moment was visiting a local orphanage, where we were able to donate school furniture. We genuinely appreciated that Lion King gives back to the local community by supporting charities and local initiatives. It made our trip feel even more meaningful.
We ended our safari with the Lake Manyara Treetop Walk, accompanied by Simon. He was knowledgeable, funny, and shared fascinating stories about Tanzanian culture and the different tribes. He made the experience both educational and entertaining.
Communication before and during the trip was seamless. The team was always quick to respond to our questions. We were mainly in contact with Jovitha and Nickson, and everything went smoothly from the planning stage to the very end of our trip. Even while we were in Tanzania, we had a few phone calls to adjust some details, and everything was handled quickly and effortlessly.
The payment process was also secure and straightforward. We paid by bank transfer using Revolut, and everything went perfectly.
From beginning to end, Lion King was reliable, professional, and extremely well organized. They were also flexible enough to add activities during our trip whenever we wanted. Throughout our honeymoon, we truly felt we were in good hands. Several hotels, as well as the Lion King team, surprised us with thoughtful gestures to celebrate our marriage, which made the trip even more special. There was always plenty of water and refreshments in the vehicle, and the safari car itself was comfortable, clean, and reliable.
Finally, we were amazed by every place we stayed, whether it was a luxury tented camp or a hotel. The hospitality was outstanding everywhere we went. Every member of staff welcomed us with kindness and made us feel at home. It truly elevated an already unforgettable experience.
We wholeheartedly recommend Lion King to anyone looking for a stress-free, safe, and unforgettable safari experience.
This has been, by far, the best and highest-quality trip we have ever experienced in our lives, and it is a honeymoon we will cherish forever.

Attention to detail and service level provided for an outstanding experience
Our 7 day / 6 night northern circuit luxury safari in Tanzania was amazing. The upgrade to luxury from mid was modest and well worth it. The Nyota lodges Lion King uses/owns are amazing. Our guide Mecky was a great driver, extremely kind, and exceptionally knowledgeable about the animals. LKA provided a detailed itinerary and it went exactly as planned. I can see why they are a top tier tour operator. I would highly recommend them.

He was laid back, funny, go with the flow kind of guy.
Me and my family had an amazing time on this Safari we did in Tanzania! Our tour guide was named Mechy and he was so good. We saw the big 5 all very close up which was awesome. Mech was not only a great tour guide but a really good driver as well, the parks roads are quite rough especially in the Serengeti, and Mech did a very good job making the ride as smooth as possible while still getting around quick. He was so kind to us which made the safari even more enjoyable. We loved our stays at the Nyota Rift Valley, as well as Nyota Serengeti, the staff were great and the resort as well as the rooms were very comfortable. Animals to walk onto the resort at the Serengeti which could be good or bad depending on your personal liking, we had multiple buffalo right outside our room at night while walking back to go to bed, it was a bit frightening because they can be aggressive but we had some of the staff with us and they did an amazing job keeping us safe. So overall would highly recommend booking through lion king and requesting Mechy as your driver! Thank you Lion king and Mechy!!!

Exceeded our expectations
We were recommended Lion King by friends, the safari, airport pick up and guide plus accomodation exceeded our expectations. The safari guide was knowledgeable and polite. The staff at all the accomodation were hugely attentive, and all the food was delicious and plenty.

Lemomo was great from the start until the end of our trip. His patience and effort were flawless, we got to see some great wildlife thanks to his great driving, we also felt safe on the roads as he took his time. We would recommend Lemomo and to go on this trip.

Great Planning
We loved Lion King Adventures. We told them exactly what we wanted to do and see and they really delivered. Initial communication was great and timely. One feedback I would give is that better response would be encouraged while patrons are on the trip. We never received a response for an emailed request. Overall our trip was absolutely amazing!!! Our tour guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and personable. Transportation was timely and safe. The selection of lodges and hotels were top tier. We were extremely satisfied. Thanks for making our trip one to remember!

Competent and trustful operator for a dreamcast safari
We contacted Lion King Adventure for a quote to have a 7-day safari in Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro areas. We worked alongside Elia and Florida to prepare our trip. We selected Lion King upon recommandation and have not regretted it: they were in the same price range as the other we had contacted, but proposed accommodation that seems to be a bit higher in standard. Communication with Elia and Florida was usually flawless with the team through WhatsApp, which is convenient.
We had a last-minute problem with a person of our team having her flight delayed by 24h so Lion King had to re-arrange a chauffeur and a hotel night for her, which was done properly.
The accommodation were really nice, all lodges and hotels were really comfortable. Lion King has its own brand of lodges "Nyota" and even if we could not attend the Nyota Serengeti for renovation reasons, we got moved to another high-quality accommodation, with outstanding views. We were among the first guests of Nyota Rift valley, which is absolutely stunning with, here again, extremely warm and welcoming staff.
Speaking of people, our guide Djabiri was absolutely amazing too, he highly contributed in the success of our safari: he gave us advice regarding the timetable, gave us some time when we needed, was really knowledgable regarding wildlife and local customs. We got lucky enough to see the Big Five thanks to him, as well as a few other hard-to-spot animals. We just regretted not to be able to see the Great Migration, but we were a bit too late for that and the gnous were a bit too far away in Northern Serengeti for the round-trip to be worth it! We'll have to come back and will definitely contact Lion King Adventures to do so!

Knowledgeable guides and good communication led to an incredible experience
My fiancé and I just finished an incredible 5-day safari with our guide Geofrey and Lion King Adventures. We unfortunately arrived a full day late due to a missed connection and Lion King and Geofrey made it seamless and easy to re-structure our itinerary. Geofrey knew all the places to go, was prompt and attentive, and made sure we saw the best spots for our interests. I would recommend Lion King Adventures, and especially our guide Geofrey, for your trip to Tanzania and for a safari. An experience that can’t be beat!

Our tour guide was Jackson. Similarly Jackson was a perfect guide. He is thoughtful highly knowledgeable about the birds, animals and geology of the area. He was always on point to answer any of our queries no matter how trivial. Furthermore I still can’t believe how he would drive so safely through difficult roads while simultaneously being able to spot birds and animals hundreds of yards away. Jackson was a great guide for us, super reliable from start to finish. I cannot recommend him highly enough
