Jordan is the BEST and we loved having him as our guide!!!!
Our family LOVED our safari with Jordan as our guide! He was so knowledgeable about animals, birds, and culture in the area. He made sure we saw all the creatures we requested and so many that we didn’t. We had such a great time joking, and highly recommend this tour and requesting Jordan for your guide! We also recommend giving your guide snacks along the way - especially when they find animals to watch!
Jordan's Safari Crusier saw more animals than a 5 year old watching Lion King 7 times in a row.
My sister booked our family a trip with Suricata Safaris for my mom's 70th birthday and I'm so glad she did! Suricara made it so easy. We were picked up as soon as the plane landed and taken care of the whole time. The delicious food never stops coming and it's such a cool experience to camp at all the game parks.
If you are booking, ask for Jordan. He will make sure you are at every exciting animal sighting, you're fancy cameras get the best angles, and you see every Secretary Bird in the Serengeti.

Jordan with Suricate Safari was the best guide one could ask for. He found every animal / bird we wanted to see, answered all of our questions regarding the animals, gave us a ton of information he thought we would enjoy, and went out of his way to honor our special requests. He is an excellent driver who will get you where you want to be or need to be on time. He makes every effort to park his vehicle so everyone on board can get a clear view and makes sure everyone is satisfied before he leaves each area. Jordan kept us well entertained with his wit, stories and experiences over his 10 years of being a guide . I highly recommend Jordan and would encourage you to request him to be your guide. Looking forward to my next excursion with Jordan and Suricate Safari. Jordan is fabulous!!

Our experience with Suricata was wonderful, thanks in large part to our guide Jordan. He was easy going and was very knowledgeable about all of the wildlife as well as the geological and cultural landscape. He did a great job of finding us all of the animals we wanted to see and was very accommodating of the photographers in our group to find the get to the good shot locations. The food was great throughout and our chef Sampson and the rest of the staff was wonderful. They went above and beyond to accommodate our food requests and helped make a birthday celebration special for our group. I highly recommend the 5 day tour and would book again with Suricata (and Jordan!) if I come back to Tanzania.

Better than anything I ever expected!
Jordan was the absolute best guide we could have ever gotten! As a photographer, he was amazing at understanding animal behavior in a way that would line us up perfectly to get amazing photos, and would go above and beyond to find the perfect angles! He was so much fun to be around and taught us so much about the animals, environment, and culture. I highly recommend requesting him if you’re looking for someone to help you get unique shots instead of just following the other tour drivers.
The operator itself was extremely kind, helpful, and quick to answer all questions! There wasn’t a ton of info shared prior to the trip, so make sure to do research for packing. A few things that made a difference in our trip (5 day camping safari):
• towel that dries quickly
• body wipes for dusty days (and nights where hot showers are limited)
• sleeping bag liner
• toilet paper
• snacks for the car (the meals are AMAZING and super filling but sometimes we had late lunches if we saw cool things)
• covers for your face to shield from dust
• shower shoes
• outlet converter for charging in the car
• good binoculars
• clips for hanging bags in the shower/bathroom
• a small duffel bag to leave anything you don’t need on safari at the hotel
This was the trip of a lifetime and we’re so grateful for Suricata Safaris (and Jordan) for making it such a great time!

We are in our second day of safari and we have already seen the big 5!! We are so pleased with our tour guides, the safari vehicles and the food!!! Plus the hotel and the camp site are spectacular! Special mention to Robert and Steve as they are our tour guides in this adventure. 4 days to go but already recommending Suricata to everyone ✨
