Trip of a lifetime!
Start to finish our trip process and trip was just absolutely perfect! Vanessa was so great coordinating all the travel for us and answering every question we had regarding covid restrictions, outlet adapters, laundry service, you name it! She made sure everything was clear for us and made sure we were prepared for our trip! We got picked up at the airport by Moses and he made us feel welcomed and safe to our transfer to our hotel. He also took us on a tour of Nairobi at the end of trip before we flew out. He took us to a great local lunch spot that ended up being our favorite meal. The morning we were picked up for our safari our guide, Kimani, picked us up. He was just the best guide ever! He was so knowledgeable about all the animals and was so good about spotting them! He told us all about Kenya and the culture and history on our transfer rides which made them go by quickly! We invited him to dine with us where he just taught us more and we just enjoyed him company! He is a great person! We really had the best time. I am fortunate to have traveled to many countries and I think this was one of my favorite trips if not the favorite. We saw the big five and so many pretty birds and other animals. The weather was perfect. All the places we stayed were great. I was traveling with 3 other friends for a girls trip. We always felt safe too. The price was very reasonable. I could go on and on about how great it was so just book it and see for yourself! :)

Reliable, well informed
We had the best time ever! It was a great trip!! Everything went according to plan and we couldn't be more satisfied about the Spirit of Kenya.
The free upgrade from a van to a Land Rover was super important and made the difference during the safari days.
Both our drivers, Karacha and Charles, were really kind, polite, ready to help, well informed and tireless.
Especially Charles, whom we spent 6 days in the safari, is probably one of the main reasons that we had such a great time and i will have such great memories from Kenya.

We don’t know about the other guides, but ours was just brilliant!! We had a really great time with Joseph, he has incredible instincts and skills spotting animals in the parks! He taught us a lot about animals too!

Very proffesional and what you pay for is what you get.
The moment I made contact with Tiago from Spirit of Kenya there was a sence of good vibes. He always answered the emails I wrote him in the same day. He understood evry question and never gave me the impression that he was feed up with me. (I asked a lot of questions)
Everything he told me was true and he made us a very special trip that we customized ourselfs.
As soon as we were on the ground our guide took over. Hes name was Franco Sego. The best guide and driver ever. He loved doing hes job and thanks to him we saw the Big 5 and much more. Franco made our trip super special.
I truly belive that thanks to the team effort of Tiago and Franco our trip was 50 % better.
I can only recommend going on safari with Spirit of Kenya.

George was great to spend time with!
Andre was a big help in planning our trip to Kenya. Even when our E-Visas were messed up and we were denied boarding our flight at the airport ( YUP! We were not happy) Andre was able to help change our plans and schedule to move everything out a week. This was a huge help. Once that was all fixed the Safari was great. Everything was one time. Our guide George was great and a lot of fun to spend the week with. The camps were clean and food was good. There is a lot of driving both on Safari and between reserves, so prepare for a lot of time in the the car. However, the experiences are worth it.

Amazing experience!
Spirit of Kenya lived up to it's reviews from the very start. Our trip was months in the making and Vanessa, our planner, promptly answered all of our questions and arranged the perfect trip. Our 11 day trip went perfectly smooth, even during Covid with all of the testing that was required during our stay - traveling from Kenya to Tanzania. The drivers and guides were top notch - they were very knowledgeable about the area and the animals. I can't recommend this highly enough. It was an amazing adventure that we'll never forget and this company is stellar! Thank you Vanessa, Nestor (our driver/guide in Kenya) and Edward (our driver/guide in Tanzania).

We had seven amazing days on our safari tour. Even before we came to Kanya, we had the best experience planning out the trip with SOK. Venessa, thank you very much for being so patient and preparing so many options for the itinerary for us.
We felt that the one we chose was genuinely great for us.
Special thanks for the trip being so great goes definitely to Franko. We have never had such a fantastic experience anywhere in the world. He was truly outstanding. He is very professional, always on time, has a lot of knowledge, and is willing to go above and beyond to make our trip memorable.

Happy outcome
Had a tour booked in May of 2020 and had to postpone a year due to Covid. Due to the continued pandemic situation we had to cancel our tour. The company was willing to work with us for an outcome that we were all happy with. Hopefully we can use them in the future when the situation and world is a bit more stable!

Thanks to Spirit of Kenya we lived the best experience of our life. What a guide we had. His name is Charles. He made this experience unreal. Always taking care of us and willing to explain about animals, culture and national parks, he knows everything.
