Trustworthy
5/5

Everything went according to the plan and we managed to respect our schedule.
October was a good month to see lots of animals. The tour was organized offering different experiences and never making it boring. Distances covered along the way are quite significant, maybe focusing only in Nyerere park could give the chance to explore more in that beautiful area and avoid long hours travelling. Overall It was a great experience.

Professional
5/5

We went on a Southern Circuit tour with Luitours, looking for a less crowded, less touristy experience – and that’s exactly what we got. Ibrahim was great to communicate with, and everything went just as we had agreed. Khalifa, our guide and driver, was humble, knowledgeable, resourceful, and an exceptional driver. His understanding of Tanzanian flora and fauna was really impressive. We were happy with the lodges too. Nyerere Tented Camp was a peaceful and comfortable place to stay. Mikumi was also good – a bit noisier, but we got used to it quickly. Ruaha was our favorite, with exceptional hospitality and really great food. I’d highly recommend this to nature enthusiasts, but keep in mind it can be a bit tiring with lots of driving! Overall, we got exactly what we paid for and came back with lots of amazing memories.

Excellent and professionall organized.
5/5

The organization of the trip was truly top-notch. Our guide, Katuku, picked us up from the airport at night, even though he had to wait two hours. He was professional on the safari and found the Big Five in Mikumi Park on the first day. He's also a very good driver – Robert Kubica and Colin McRae rolled into one. It's clear he knows safari like no other. We went on a four-day safari in Mikumi and Nyerere Parks. It was very intense. The accommodations were excellent. We can recommend Loitours and Safari as a very professional company. If I were to go on safari in the future, I would definitely go with Louitours. Thank You Katuku and Louitouris.

Friendly, professional and customer-focused company
5/5

Communication with Ibrahim at Luitours was excellent from the time I first enquired about a Southern Tanzania safari through to when he asked me how everything had gone as we were about to head home. He willingly and promptly answered all the queries I raised via email, giving me confidence at each stage that I was dealing with a good company. When my family and I arrived in Dar es Salaam , we were greeted in the arrivals hall and 2 taxis took us to our overnight hotel. The next day Khalifa, our driver/guide, collected us at the agreed time in the Land Cruiser and an unforgettable 10-day adventure began. At all times Khalifa was courteous, friendly and professional. I felt safe with his driving on the long, very busy roads between the National Parks we visited and when we were in Selous, Mikumi and Ruaha themselves. He checked with us what we were particularly keen to see and tried his best to meet those wishes. He also made sure that we always had enough toilet stops for the varying needs of people in our group. The itinerary was exactly as had been set out by Ibrahim months before, with highlights being a wonderful, close-up encounter with a leopard; seeing some lion cubs; and spotting a pack of very healthy-looking wild dogs early one evening as we were heading back to our lodge and already outside the national park. The Rufiji River cruise was beautiful, the night game drive in Ruaha the best of 3 I have been on, and the river walk in Ruaha was wonderful being so close to hippos and crocodiles with the security of armed rangers. Having been to Northern Tanzania previously, the main differences down south are the very long road journeys between parks and the lack of savannah. Of the 3 parks we visited only Mikumi has much open space, so wildlife spotting is not as easy. But on the positive side, there are far fewer safari cars driving around so that when we saw big cats there were typically 2 or 3 other cars around rather than the 20-30 you can get in the Serengeti. Standard of accommodation was good, although Mikumi is a very different experience because of the major cross-country highway running through it. At night you hear the roar of trucks rather than wild animals and songs more likely come from someone's music system rather than birds.

The Wilderness of Tanzania
5/5

We explored the National Parks Mikumi and Nyerere with our Guide Kapande and saw many animals, it was a really astonishing journey with awesome experiences. Kapande knows a lot about the animals and also generally about life in Tanzania, so we got many impressions of the Country. Thank you so much! Margit and Barbara from Austria

Professional, easy to communicate with and expert tour guide. A great experience!
5/5

From the outset, Ibrahim was very easy to communicate with to arrange our tour. He was prompt in his responses and was able to arrange the safari to accommodate our wishes. Airport transfers were smooth and well organised both at the Zanzibar and Arusha end. We were able to leave our main luggage securely at the airport whilst going on the safari. Our tour guide Alen was excellent. He was very professional, knowledgeable and very experienced and kept us safe (even when having lunch with lions in the area!). We were lucky enough to see the big 5 (despite going in the wet season) which made the holiday extra special. The safari jeep was well equipped for all our needs with cold drinks during the day and even being able to charge our phones whilst on the safari. Our lunches were homecooked hot meals which were very good. We stayed at the Farm of Dreams Lodge which was like staying in luxury and we made use of their swimming pool in the evenings! We had the opportunity to stop and do some shopping for souvenirs. Overall this was an incredible and unforgettable experience which was well organised and very professional. 10/10 I would recommend luitours to everyone and will be recommending to friends and family wishing to do a safari!
