Exceptional Private Tour to Tarangire National Park
My private day tour to Tarangire National Park was truly exceptional—far exceeding my expectations.
The entire trip was expertly coordinated by Angel Charles, who followed up promptly on every detail, both before and after the tour. Her professionalism and attention to detail gave me great confidence in the planning.
My guide and driver, Ally Kimea, picked me up in Arusha at 4:30 AM so we could begin exploring Tarangire at sunrise. He is one of the best guides I’ve ever encountered. Passionate about his work, Ally knows the park inside and out, and his deep knowledge allowed us to find a wide variety of fascinating mammals and birds. I learned so much about the region’s history, culture, and wildlife.
I’m returning home with a camera full of beautiful photos and unforgettable memories.
If I have the opportunity to return to Tanzania for a longer safari—perhaps including Ngorongoro and Serengeti—I would definitely choose Safari Soles again. I have no hesitation in recommending them to others. Based on my experience with both Ally and Angel, it’s clear that Safari Soles is a highly professional and client-focused tour operator.

Fantastic comprehensive safari
We went on a 3-day safari, which covered the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater including air transfers. We considered several different packages and operators before choosing Safari Soles as the superior option for our needs.
Our communications with Safari Soles from the moment of our enquiry until the day we departed was swift and professional, they reliably answered our enquiries and were able to accommodate any modifications we requested.
Our guide was extremely reliable, humorous and possessed a great depth of knowledge about the parks. Our tour was an amazing experience and included a balloon safari, which we highly recommend, in which we were able to take wonderful photos of the Big Five and make some truly spectacular memories.

Unforgettable experience !
I dont usually write reviews but this one I wanted to write as we had a really good experience and I wish other people would make the right choice as well as we did. Recently we came back from safari trip covering Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire and Lake Manyara and the experience was unforgettable, thanks in large part to our wonderful guide and driver.
From the very beginning, Estomih was very helpful, knowledgeable and attentive to every detail. Estomih accommodated all our requests with genuine warmth and flexibility, always ensuring we were comfortable and had the best viewing for animal spotting. His deep understanding of the national parks and animals made the experience not only exciting but also educational. This is exactly what we were looking for. Thanks to Estomih's expertise and persistence, we were lucky enough to spot a leopard, which we were told is a rare sight (definitely a highlight of the trip)!
Estomih and the safari soles team are really professional, kind people and full of insights about the local culture, history and wildlife. We felt not like tourists but like welcomed guests in their home.
We couldn't have asked for a better guide and team so we are wholeheartedly recommending the same experience to the next traveller in Tanzania!

Safari Soles provided us the perfect experience in Tanzania. A perfect mix of wildlife and cultural experience we could not have possibly asked for more.
Our tour guide, Ernest, was incredibly knowledgeable on all we had to ask and had an answer for every question. We were so honored to spend 5 days with him.
Along with planning a literally perfect itinerary, Vivian was super responsive and helped us resolve any bumps along the way immediately (of which there were very few, for a very active and involved trip!).

Exceptional
Christian and Francis were wonderful and went out of their way to give us an amazing experience on our 9 day safari in February. We travelled in convoy as there were eight in our party including two grandchildren (four of us in each jeep). We would highly recommend this company because of our experience with Christian and Francis. Christian was amazing in tracking down one of the children's missing backpacks left behind at a busy roadstop. It ended up at Arusha Airport and with his contacts he got it delivered back to us as we were about to fly out of Kilimanjaro. Service above and beyond! We got to see lots of animals up close and they were great drivers. Thanks so much Christian and Francis for making our holiday so special.

The perfect safari experience !
It was our first ever safari trip so we were a little nervous but from the first contact with Patrick, he was very professional and customized the entire schedule to our needs, even answering a million of the questions I had in a very timely and communicative manner.
The entire experience was seamless and exceeded our expectations. We never had a single worry as everything was taken care of from start to end. This company truly understands how to craft a perfect safari experience. The accommodations were fantastic, the logistics were flawlessly handled, and the wildlife sightings were beyond our wildest dreams.
We would like to give an huge shoutout and thank you to our incredible guides, Eli and Shema. Their expertise was simply outstanding. They possess an encyclopedic knowledge of all the animals and effortlessly spotting animals from literally miles away. They also always went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and safety.

Our safari experience with Safari Soles was absolutely incredible, thanks to the outstanding team, especially our guide Ernest and the amazing trip coordinator Irine. From start to finish, everything was flawlessly organized, and the entire journey exceeded our expectations.
Ernest is, without a doubt, one of the best safari guides we could have hoped for. His professionalism, deep knowledge of wildlife, and sharp eye for spotting animals made our experience truly unforgettable. It was obvious from the start that he is highly experienced—not only in tracking wildlife but also in ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride throughout. His driving skills were exceptional, making even the roughest terrains feel effortless. He also went above and beyond to make sure we had the best game-viewing opportunities, positioning the vehicle perfectly for breathtaking views and photos.
One of the most special parts of the trip was the birthday surprise arranged for me at one of the accommodations. It was such a personal and thoughtful touch that made the experience even more memorable! Every accommodation we stayed at was excellent, offering great comfort, delicious food, and beautiful surroundings.
Irine, who helped organize our trip, was equally fantastic. Her communication was excellent from the moment we inquired about the safari. She was responsive, informative, and made sure every detail was taken care of, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience.

An amazing experience!
We booked independently with Safari Soles from the UK. From start to finish the service has been excellent. Communication and on line discussion with Renata was, at all times professional, clear informative and prompt with any questions dealt with quickly.
Our budget Safari included Tarangire NP, the Southern Serengeti NP and Ngorongoro Crater which included the Sero tented camp and Simba campsite.
Simon our guide was excellent. He had great depth of knowledge and experience knowing the parks geographically very well along with his understanding of the wildlife. He was kind, considerate and professional throughout the trip. Ibraheem our young chef was equally professional, courteous and keen, his cooking was of an extremely high standard and he catered very well for my vegetarian husband. His mango salad is a salad to remember!
Simon our guide had no problem seeking out the big 5 and so much more! It became obvious he was well respected by other guides and he worked very hard to seek out the best of the wildlife in each of the parks.
I highly recommend Safari Soles a truly professional outfit who cater for individuals!

Excellent experience, well executed and worth the cost
Great private experience, our guide (Shema) was very knowledgeable and clearly knew the best spots to take us as we were lucky enough to see everything we hoped for, multiple times. They really made the experience special with unique lunch spots and the food in the picnics were excellent - home made local food rather than the dry sandwiches we saw other people with.
The accommodation Safari Soles picked for us were excellent; we had 2 nights in tented camps which were beautiful and quiet, and 2 nights at Melia in the Serengeti which had incredible views and luxury service.
Our guide made us feel comfortable and was a very experienced driver which we appreciated, he was able to get us close to the animals without feeling intrusive.
Overall our package was one of the more expensive options but it still felt like good value and we would highly recommend Safari Soles.
