Goes above and beyond
Its taken me a while to write this review as I have been living in a dream since one of the most amazing holidays i have ever/ will ever go on. Its hard to put it into words but i'll try. I just want to say thank you to Raphael from Safari soles who helped me plan our dream trip, nothing was too much trouble for him and he was always on hand to answer my questions. Safari soles organised our flights from Zanzibar up to to Sereona air strip and back from Arusha to Zanzibar. The whole journey was seamless. We arrived at the Sereona Airstrip on the 1st of July where we was met by Elias Shema who spent the next 6 days showing us the amazing sites in Tanzania. We spent 3 days in the Serengeti, 1 Day Ngorongoro Crater, 1 Day Lake Manyara and 1 Day at Tarangire National Park before returning to Arusha. Elias was amazing not only was he our driver he was also our private photographer, Animal Encyclopedia, human binocular (he would spot animals for miles) but also a friend. He went above and beyond to make our trip perfect. There is not one thing I can fault from the initial booking (even me changing the itinerary numerous times) the flights, the accommodation, the food or the complete experience. You have made our dreams come true and i cant thank you enough. We will definitely be using you in the future and i cant wait to return :)

Knowledgeable and Friendly
I want to thank these young men for an unforgettable experience. Heading to Arusha for the safari, our flight was cancelled and we were sent to Mt. Kilimanjaro airport where we would then be driven to Arusha by the airline (about an hour away). Unfortunately, Baltazary had to wait 4 additional hours past our scheduled arrival time, before picking us up literally at a random hotel in Arusha. He was always available by phone, and quickly responded to pick us up when we arrived. To compound our situation, our bags did not arrive on our flight. I contacted Bryson as there was a language barrier with the airline staff, and he stayed in contact with the airline late into the night so that our bags were delivered to our hotel at 3am. Cheddy picked us up for our tour and we had a wonderful time. The tour was well organized and we saw all the animals, birds and more. Cheddy answered all of our questions and was very knowledgeable. We had great conversations and have great memories. He even had to accommodate us on the last day as it was raining, but we still had fun and made it to the airport for our flight just in time. I want to thank them for being considerate and compassionate when it came to the troubles we had with the airline on our arrival and still ensuring we had a wonderful experience. I would recommend them to anyone for their price, attention to detail, and the passion they have to ensure customers have a wonderful experience. I hope to return and stay longer guys, take care.

Competent, passionate, responsive, trip like plan and even better
Communication with Renatus was easy, clear, helpful, detailed. All material was in very good condition: jeep, tents, sleeping bags, binoculares. Our cook Dennis surprised us again and again with good and healthy meals, also for the 2 vegetarians. Chadi, our guide, drove very good and safe, showed and explained us many, many animals. Not only big5 but also lots of other animals like birds, monkeys, giraffes, hyraks, snakes, hyppo or crocodile. From the first moment he was able to connect with us and we felt very welcome and had a lot of fun and interesting discussions. He cared for us while game drives as well as for accomodation and well-being. Best guide you can have for safari.
In plus we had a bike tour and a walk to the waterfall: both was very good organized and was fun and interesting.

Extremely professional, highly communicative, very friendly, and highly customizable.
From the start, Safari Soles made our safari planning and execution an easy and awesome experience. The initial brochure they provided for their quoted tour was easy to read and very well organized. It clearly hit all of the highlights of a safari in Tanzania, customized to our needs. The extras we asked, they easy accommodated. The accommodations they recommended off the bat were perfect. They made all of this so easy, and then our tour guide was fantastic. He was so knowledgeable about the animals and plants of the Serengeti, and he was so easy going and friendly. He was flexible in starting and ending our days if we needed more rest or wanted to do something specific. We had a fantastic time, and if we are ever lucky enough to go back, Safari Soles is the only tour company we will use. We 100% recommend them to everyone we care about.

Great communicator!
Highly recommend Safari Soles. Bryson is a great communicator and everything was organized so we could just relax and enjoy our adventure. Jonathan was our guide and he is a LEGEND! He is a accomplished naturalist and helped me with bird identifications along the way. I had a perpetual smile on my face for the whole week- it was perfection!

The one and only Tour operator in Arusha for all three of us! (9-Day African's Big 5 (Budget))
Among many possibilities we chose Safari Soles just by chance - and we really did the right thing! The contact from Switzerland with Bryson was easy and prompt, the given informations complete and very precious. The whole safari was optimally balanced between one day sightseeing in Arusha (Highlight = Cultural Heritag Center) and a sunset hike with guide Eli - 6 days game drive in Tarangire, Central Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater with excellent guide Oscar and fabulous cook Action (very variable meals, always fresh, fresh bread every morning) - one day safari to the foothills of Kilimandjaro with hike to the majestic Materuni waterfall, an amazing coffee tour and a relaxing bath in the Kikuletwa hot springs.
Some important advices: don't forget warm clothing for the night in the tent on the border of Ngorongoro crater (2400 m) and shoes with very good profilefor the hike to the waterfall (slippery way when wet).
An excellent value for money, an unforgettable experience! We have seen all the Big 5! Thank you our friends from Safari Soles!

Well organised, great communication and friendly tour operator
This was our first safari and I'm glad we chose Safari Soles. They were very prompt in communicating and happy to make changes to our itinerary. In the end we chose a 5 day mid range safari covering Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngoronogoro Crater and Highlands plus 2 days in Zanzibar at the end. The lodges and tented camp they arranged all had good facilities, including a range of food and wifi. Nothing was too much trouble and we were able to contact Bryson, if needed, throughout the holiday.
Our guide for the actual safari, Jeff, was brilliant and went out of his way to make sure we saw as much wildlife up close as possible. He was very friendly with a good sense of humour and was very patient when we tried to learn some swahili! He also took us to one of the Masai villages, which was very interesting (if not a little expensive - beware the hard sell!!) Picnic lunches were freshly cooked meals with choice of drinks and always in brilliant locations.
We would definitely recommend Safari Soles and our guide Jeff for anyone wanting to do a safari in Tanzania. Plus the hot air balloon trip over the Serengeti (arranged beforehand) was an added bonus!

It’s no surprise that these guys have the most five star reviews of every operator on safaribookings. Not only do Safari Soles provide great packages at a very good price, but they can also tailor any trip however you want, or do a totally bespoke package. We did a mid-range safari covering Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire and stayed in lodges, and added a fly-in from Arusha straight into the Serengeti so we reduced the drive time to get there. This was well worth it. The Safari Soles guides know the parks inside out and the best places to find animals and also the best places for you to stay. Their guides (and especially Raymond!) are very knowledgeable and fun to be with and they anticipate your every need. Nothing is too much trouble and they are so happy and kind. I have never received such excellent service on any trip before and if anything goes wrong (like our lost luggage) they will bend over backwards to help you solve your problem. Choose this great team of people and you’ll be very pleased with yourself when you realise you’re travelling in comfort with the best operators. We certainly were! A five star experience throughout from enquiry through to the end of our trip. Thank you Safari Soles :-))

Amazing Tanzanian Adventure!
From the start, everything was well organised and planned! The places we stayed were fantastic with great facilities and extremely friendly staff members! The food was delicious and there was a good variety.
The safari experience was amazing, truly a life changing trip! A special mention must go to our tour guide, Ernest. He is kind, knowledgeable and will spot any animal at any time! You’ll be in excellent hands!
Will definitely be returning! Would highly recommend!
