Best communications fron start to finish. Excellent service from tour operator, guide and transfer rides. Definately value for money. The tour was absolutely magic! Definately a must do event. Meet great people and have the best time of our lives.

Songwe is an excellent guide who can show you the wildlife in an incredible way
We travelled through Kenya for 6 days. Songwe is an exceptionally capable guide, we found all of the big 5 species within 3 days! He was able to help us with all upcoming issues. The tour vehicle was very reliable, with cozy seats and great views through the roof.

Great safari! We saw all of the Big 5 and lots of other animals even very close by
We booked this incredible 6-day-Safari with Apodiformes Adventures and we couldn’t have been happier with our guide Songe. We went to the Amboseli National park, to Lake Nakuru and finally to Massi Mara. He made sure we saw all of the big five animals (lion, elephant, rhinoceros, buffalo and leopard) within only 3 days. He went above and beyond to assure that we could see as many lions as possible (41 lions in total!). Because we forgot our digital camera, we needed to get really close to the animals to take photos and Songe managed to get us as close as 2m to the animals and sometimes the big cats went by directly next to the car. Even when most guides didn’t drive up close to the big cats Songe talked to the rangers and got us directly in front of them. He listened to our requests about the animals we wanted to see, stopped at the right spots so we could take beautiful photos and even went off road to ensure we would get the perfect photos. He always was in contact to the other guides and assured us to be at the right spots at the right time to see the rare animals like leopards and rhinos. When there were many jeeps near one animals he made sure we could get to the front and as close to the animal as possible. Songe is a very friendly guide who told us a lot about the animals and the national parks. The jeep is sturdy and the seats are comfortable. Overall we are very glad he was our guide and can’t recommend him enough

Highly committed
We found Janet to be very helpful, she would always return our emails almost immediately! Not to say it was not without glitches, the initial lodgings we had agreed on could actually not be confirmed after we made the initial payment. But we did find an alternative good solution. Our guide was Kevin, he made all the effort to get to the right places at the right time. He was always ammenable to our requests.
We were very happy with all the accomodations and the parks, all met our expectations!
We visited 3 parks, Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Amboseli, it was quite a stretch to go from one to the other, but we found it well worth it, they are quite different and spectacular!

Intense but absolutely fantastic experience
We were a family of 4, with 2 small kids, booked 5 days Safari visiting Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, and Maasai Mara. Communication with Syprose was excellent, guys were available before, during, and after the trip for any and all queries any day of the week, almost any hour. Our driver, Silver guide, Mr Isaiah, was a calm quiet considerate gentleman, which drove us around skillfully, without much chit chat, which was appreciated on the very long road drives in between the parks (families with small kids, consider the very lengthy transit times full of traffic before booking 3 parks in a short period of time!). Where Isaiah truly excelled was on game drives - his knowledge of the parks, his reading of the animals behavior (especially in Maasai Mara), without being too rushed unlike other cars around, got us a unique experience where at times we were the first or 2nd car to get to an exceptional viewing opportunity. At first his patience seemed odd to us regular people used to zoo like viewing, but as we learned to trust his skills, we were rewarded with absolutely fantastic experiences for adults and kids alike.

A Comprehensive and Highly Personalized First Safari in East Africa
We travelled with Apodiformes Adventures on a cross-border safari through Tanzania and Kenya, and we were very satisfied with the entire experience.
Syprose handled all the communication and planning with great care and attention to detail. We requested several changes to the itinerary during the planning process, and she patiently accommodated each of them. The final itinerary was very comprehensive and included a wide range of national parks in both countries. This made the trip especially suitable for first-time visitors to East Africa who want to experience as much as possible without missing the major destinations.
Our guide in Tanzania, Aziz, was extremely experienced and had outstanding observation skills. Even while driving, he was constantly scanning the surrounding landscape for wildlife. He took us out early every morning and stayed with us until late in the day, doing everything he could to meet my photography needs. His patience, commitment, and understanding of wildlife behaviour gave me many excellent photographic opportunities, and I am sincerely grateful for his efforts.
In Kenya, Sebastian was an excellent driver with very strong positioning and decision-making skills. He helped us reach some of the best viewing and photography positions and allowed us to capture several opportunities that lasted only a few seconds. He was also highly observant and proactively shared interesting information about the animals, national parks, and local environment throughout the journey.
Overall, Apodiformes Adventures provided a reliable, flexible, and well-organized safari. As first-time visitors to East Africa, we were extremely satisfied with the trip and would gladly recommend the company to anyone looking for a comprehensive and customized safari in Kenya and Tanzania.

Very efficient and handled all our requests for accomodation promptly
Appodiforms handled all our requests promptly. Janet was very prompt from very beginning when started booking the trip, made accomodation arrangements as we had requested and even made recommendations for specific safari camps and Lodges. Our driver and guide Songe was very professional. He was always ready few minutes ahead of planned safari times. He is very resourceful and familiar with roads in all parks we visited. He makes every attempt to locate and show the animals. Overall we are very happy with our trip.

Incredible safari that was expertly organised
We had a fantastic time in Kenya visiting Meru National Park and Samburu with Apodiformes Adventures.
From the very start, they were responsive and highly organised, providing all the information and advice we needed to organise our trip.
Syprose, who organised everything for us, was brilliant, responding to emails immediately and always finding a solution for everything.
Our guide, Justus, was outstanding - his knowledge of the wildlife, but particularly the birds, was excellent, and he tailored the safari to our needs perfectly. He was genuinely passionate and enthusiastic about the wildlife and places we were visiting, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide - I would highly recommend him for anyone, but particularly those with a keen interest in birding.
Apodiformes were professional and helpful throughout, and helped put together an absolutely unforgettable safari, with amazing wildlife sightings, friendly people and beautiful lodges - I would recommend both iKweta lodge in Meru and Ashnil Samburu in Samburu area.

Organised reliable and attentive he make the entire safari very smooth comfortable and stress-free
Our 12-day safari across Samburu National Reserve, Lake Nakuru National Park, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Lake Naivasha, Amboseli National Park, and Tsavo National Park was absolutely unforgettable. The landscapes, wildlife, and sunsets were breathtaking every single day. We saw the Big Five, the “Ugly Five", and so much more in incredible conditions, including many baby animals. What truly made the experience exceptional was our guide, Sebastian, professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and always making sure we had the best views and experiences.
He also taught us so much about wildlife and shared many insights from his experience and knowledge of Kenya. Thanks to him, this journey was an amazing adventure from start to finish.
