Our driver/guide, James, was fantastic, a wealth of knowledge & cared for all our needs.
We had a spectacular 7 day safari. Because of the drive between safari parks and back to Nairobi we were actually in the parks five of the days. Amboseli was our favorite safari park. The AA Lodge at Amboseli was also the best! At the animal sanctuary at Lake Navaisha we were walking 10 feet from wild animals! James was a wonderful guide, a great spotter, careful driver, and very patient with us! Daniel's communication and trip customization was the best! The private safari gave the 3 of us lots of room to move around for the best viewing & taking of over 5,000 photographs. We would definitely recommend Meektrails for anyone.

Perfect all the way!
I found Meektrailssafaris online last summer and booked them for a 10-day safari before I started my job here in Nairobi. I had an amazing experience, and I was so satisfied that I have recommended Meektrailssafaris to my fellow teachers and friends for their safaris. In fact, one of my friends booked a trip for her family and friends to the Mara in a few days. I personally have just finished my 2nd trip with the company, and I have already secured a booking in July for when my family will visit. I can’t wait!
As a solo female traveler in a foreign country, I am so happy to have found this company, I find them extremely professional, great with their communication and they have always giving me the best itineraries with the best hotels. The director Daniel has always offered me his best rates and now that I live in Kenya, I am finding his rates very competitive. Great Safari! Great Team!
We booked a safari spanning 5 days. The programme started with a pick-up in Nairobi. The first day we spent at SOPA lounge in Naivasha, followed by a day at Lake Nakuru. These two stops were perfect as we could get close to some of the animals (zebras, some antelopes, giraffes) during a walking safari and around the great hotel. At the lake we also took a boat ride where we could see a wide breath of different animals from numerous birds to hippos and crocodiles. All involved guides were very knowledgeable and showed us the animals in great detail. On our first game drive we also spotted some of the elusive rhinos. Following those stops we drove to Masai Mara. We were really lucky and got to see the big five during our week with the great guide James. We saw many different animals and James tailored the programme and the tour to our liking. He took a lot of time to answer the questions of our group (including two vets!), showed us animals that we were especially interested in and even gave us a political overview of the country and animal rights/protection in Kenya.
The tour was really great and I can only recommend it!
The company with Daniel at its head excelled beyond the tour. Even though the airline lost a suitcase they took over organizing everything and managed to somehow have my suitcase shipped to our location after only one day.

Fantastic experience!
A friend had recommended Meektrails safari to us and we were super happy about how everything went. They were able to accommodate all our requests (timings, destinations and budget) in a very short notice and yet all went wonderfully. We also couldn’t be happier with our driver, who was very kind and taught us a lot about Kenya’s wild life. Totally recommend!!

Committed to offering a good service
We had an excellent 4 days holiday trip to the Nakuru and Masai Mara National Parks. Meektrails provided the road trip itinerary which eventually turned out to be pleasant and well thought of. The choice of hotels and the tour vehicle was excellent.
The driver also understood the route and offered assistance and explanation when needed.
It was a pleasure working with Daniel and Simon (driver) through out the trip

The best kenya tour
We took a private tour for 14 days with a visit (Ambosely, Tsavo, Masay Mara, lakes, Sweet waters). We had a long choice between a jeep and a minibus, we settled on the second one. Despite the bad roads, the minibus was a good option with a profesional driver. Nice, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable guide was with us all the way. The hoteles were chosen according to our requirements and better than we expected. The itinerary was competently designed, with the necessary breaks in good hotels, allowed us to see the big five and did not get bored in 14 days. If desired on the way the guide will help buy fruit, souvenirs or furniture.

Amazing!
This was our family’s one of the favorite trip in our life! We stayed at Mara Simba lodge in Masai Mara, and had 2 days safari game and visit Masai village. Have three small kids and had found 4 out of 5 in our game drive. We even watched amazing scenes of fighting of lions and buffalos! our Guide James was very experienced so knew very well when and where to look. Lodge was very clean and nice. There is small river right by the lodge and there you can find hippos and crocodiles so kids really like watching them when we eat at the restaurant. I didn’t like the food though. Food was plain as well as the service. After Masai Mara, we went to Lake Nakuru to see Rhinos and flamingos and it was amazing! It was just a short visit on the way to Lake Naivasha and the entrance fee was very expensive but worth it. And best part of our trip was Lake Naivasha. We stayed in Sopa lodge, it was very nice, well kept very eco friendly. Food was great, service was perfect, and I would really like to visit again if I come back. Overall, Daniel organized our trip very well and comfortable! I really liked it!

Reliable team of professionals!
Trip was amazing! I really enjoyed every minute of it. I sent tour request at around 8PM, got response from Daniel just in few minutes, quick call and by 0730am I started my trip. Phylis met me at reception right on time, we completed all formalities and trip started. James was my guide and he was very professional, accommodative and respectful. Was trying his best to find different animals and successfully did! Thanks again and will see you next time!
