Unforgettable Experience with Morningstar and Julius
Our group of four had an incredible 8-day safari adventure through Kenya, visiting Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, and Amboseli, and from start to finish, everything was planned and organized so well.
The entire trip was smooth, comfortable, and completely stress-free. Morningstar did a fantastic job of taking care of all the details and making sure our wishes were included in the itinerary. Everything was well thought out, and we always felt that we were in good hands.
A huge part of what made this trip so special was our safari guide, Julius. He was incredibly friendly, caring, reliable, thoughtful, and very knowledgeable. He clearly loves what he does and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible experience. His knowledge of the parks, wildlife, and the best places to spot animals made such a difference. Thanks to him, we were incredibly lucky to see all the animals we had hoped for, and many of them multiple times! The whole experience was unforgettable, and we came home with amazing memories and countless photos.
Morningstar was truly fantastic value for money, and we would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a well-organized, memorable, and authentic Kenyan safari. The combination of excellent planning, great service, and an outstanding guide made this an experience we will never forget.

Incredible 4 day safari with Rono from morning star!
The whole experience was incredible from start to finish. We visited both Lake Nakuru and the Masai Mara and managed to see all of the big 5 on our visit. Rono our tour guide was amazing, he was so knowledgeable and able to provide so much information about all of the animals we saw. He made the trip very enjoyable and would 100% recommend him as your tour guide. Some personal highlights from the trip was seeing a leopard eat a hyena and seeing a pride of male lions. All the accommodation we stayed in were in great condition, had good food, very clean and the staff were excellent. If you are looking for a tour operator I would highly recommend morning star, Joysharon organised the whole trip and communication was great throughout, and she also gave us a free upgrade for one of our accommodations which was amazing!

Amazing experience start to finish thanks for Joysharon & Rono
We had the best trip to Kenya via MorningStar. The booking process was made simple with Joysharon who was very happy to discuss dates and options for parks, Accomodation and activities. When we arrived in Kenya we were picked up promptly by Rono who was friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure to spend our four days with. We first stopped at Lake Nakuru (Sopa Lodge) this was a great first park as it is a smaller which makes animal spotting easier, Rono was great at point out all the sights and was patient while we took photos and enjoyed seeing the animals. He also knew so many facts about the animals which he shared with us. Our next stop was Masai Mara where we were upgraded to the Royal Zebra within the Zebra Plains collection which was the most amazing hotel & staff we could have asked for. A pure luxury experience with only 8 lodges available, the staff went above and beyond and all of the facilities were amazing (outdoor bath & shower, pool, private sun loungers at your room and al a carte dining).
Again, Rono made our experience in Mara unforgettable. He was well connected to other guides so was able to hear about sightings and take us to see all animals. We saw the big 5 over the four days, and many many more animals. We rarely went more than 15 minutes without seeing anything and saw more lions that I could have imagined!
We also did the sunrise balloon safari experience which was fantastic.
The whole time we felt safe and well looked after. I will recommend Kenya, MorningStar and Joysharon & Rono to friends & family and would not hesitate to book again with these.

Punctual, perfectly organized, and unforgettable
As a next step in our trip, we explored Amboseli and Nairobi with Morningstar Tours, and they delivered an incredible experience. From doing game drives in Amboseli & Nairobi National park (we saw Rhinos!) to visiting Elephant Orphanage, the Giraffe Centre & city tour. Every part of the trip was perfectly handled.
Our guide -Julius- was exceptionally patient, relaxed, and never rushed us. He took the time to make sure we truly enjoyed each moment, adapting to our pace and showing outstanding customer service throughout.
We had some truly magical moments: elephants passing right in front of us (which made my wife extremely happy as they are her favorite!), and incredible sightings of giraffes and ostriches (my personal favorite!). If you are looking for a smooth, stress-free safari with an operator that truly listens and puts your enjoyment first, Morningstar Tours is the way to go!

We had an amazing safari experience with Morning Star Tours & Travel, and a huge part of that was thanks to our wonderful guide and driver Gabriel and our operator Joy Sharon. Gab was professional, patient, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife, the parks, and Kenya in general. He always made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the journey.
What impressed us most was how dedicated he was to making sure we had the best possible experience. He was excellent at spotting animals, knew where and when to look for wildlife, and always gave us enough time to watch, take photos, and enjoy the moment without ever making us feel rushed. He also explained the animals’ behaviours and shared interesting information along the way, which made the safari much more meaningful than simply seeing the animals.
We also really appreciated his driving, reliability, and flexibility throughout the trip. Safari days can be long, with many hours on the road and some challenging road conditions, but he remained attentive, positive, and accommodating the entire time. By the end of the trip, we felt very lucky to have had him as our guide.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend Morning Star Tours & Travel, especially because of the excellent service provided by our guide. He truly made our trip to Kenya memorable, and we would happily travel with him again.

organized, competent and unforgettable experience
We had a very good experience with Morning Star Safari Tours. Everything was professional, organized, and well managed. Communication with Joysharon was great. Our guide Gabriel was knowledgeable and competent, and we saw every animal on our checklist. Overall, the safari offered great value for money.
Unfortunately, we arrived too late in the season to see the Great Migration, but this was entirely about our timing.
The trip is highly customizable, which is a major advantage. However, because we didn’t know what to expect as first-time visitors, we mostly followed the default itinerary, which is good enough.
Overall, we were very happy with the trip and would highly recommend Morning Star Safari Tours.

A special thank you to Gabriel, our driver, who was absolutely fantastic throughout the trip. He was humble, kind, helpful, and always on time. He was also very knowledgeable and shared so much interesting information with us along the way. We always felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of.
I’d also like to thank Joysharon, our booking agent, who was very responsive and helpful from the beginning. She answered our questions promptly and made the booking and planning process smooth and easy.

Helps make sure we see all the animals possible
We had an amazing safari with Morning Star Tours & Travel, and Gabu made the experience unforgettable.
Everything was super smooth from start to finish. Gabu kept the car clean every day, always made sure we had plenty of water, and took care of all the little details so we could just relax and enjoy the trip. He was patient, friendly, and always happy to stop for photos or spend more time watching the animals.
The wildlife was incredible — we saw the Big Five, the Ugly Five, cheetahs, elephants with babies, lions, leopards, rhinos, and so much more. Gabu was really good at spotting animals and knowing where to go, and we ended up with some amazing sightings and photos.
More than anything, he was just really fun to spend time with. After so many hours together in the safari vehicle, it honestly felt more like traveling with a friend than just having a guide.
We would absolutely recommend Morning Star and Gabu to anyone planning a safari in Kenya. Such a memorable trip!
