An unforgettable journey through Kenya
We had an unforgettable safari experience with Morning Star Tours & Travel!
Our journey took us from Amboseli to Lake Naivasha and the Masai Mara, and every place gave us a completely different experience. We saw beautiful herds of elephants in Amboseli, enjoyed a walking safari around Lake Naivasha, and had incredible game drives in the Masai Mara, where we saw lions and huge herds of wildebeest. One of the biggest highlights was our hot-air balloon safari over the Masai Mara at sunrise — an experience we will never forget.
Our driver and guide, Joshua, made the whole journey even more special. He was warm, professional, patient, and always did his best to help us see and experience as much as possible. He was also very flexible whenever we had questions or wanted to adjust something along the way, which made us feel comfortable throughout the trip.
Beryl was also very responsive and helpful from the planning stage until the end of our safari. Communication was always smooth, and everything from the itinerary and accommodations to our additional activities was well organized.
We came home with so many amazing memories of Kenya. A huge thank you to Joshua, Beryl, and the entire Morning Star team. We would happily travel with you again!

Excellent
There was fantastic, timely communication from the office and they met our needs very well even though we only booked 2 weeks before going.
Our driver, Timothy, was a safe driver, knowledgeable and friendly. He got us into the best place possible for photos! The safari was an amazing opportunity and we saw so much wildlife. I thoroughly recommend Morning Star Safaris. We had a fantastic experience.

Very nice experience with lots of wildlife. Cheetahs, rhino, and lots of elephants. The housing was very nice with excellent food, rooms and everyone is happy and welcoming.
Timothy is an extremely talented and knowledgeable guide who I would recommend to anyone.
Our tour was run extremely smoothly. The parks, hotels and connections (travel) were brilliantly organised and created such a smooth experience for my entire family.

Exceptional service, fun trip
Had a great 6-day safari with Morningstar covering both the Masai Mara in Kenya and Serengeti in Tanzania. The itinerary was very well planned and felt like just the right amount of time to properly experience both parks without unnecessarily stretching out the trip.
A special shoutout to our guides, Joseph in Kenya and Jackson in Tanzania. Joseph was knowledgeable, funny and shared plenty of interesting facts about Kenya throughout the trip — we learnt a lot from him. Jackson was equally knowledgeable about the wildlife, culture and history of Tanzania, and put in some seriously long days driving us around — including one day of more than 12 hours!
Also a big thanks to Joysharon, our coordinator, who was always responsive and quick to answer our questions. We had a last-minute change to our flight timing and she was able to adjust the itinerary smoothly for us.
Logistics throughout the trip were well handled, and we had a great experience with the hotel staff and accommodations along the way.
Overall, a really enjoyable and well-organised safari. Thanks to Joysharon, Joseph and Jackson for making our Kenya and Tanzania trip such a memorable one!

Memorable curated experiences that we completely enjoyed.
We travelled from Nairobi all the way to Kilimanjaro on a 8D7N safari tour.
From the initial stages of contacting Morningstar, Joysharon was seamless in helping us plan the entire itinerary. She was responsive, helpful, and accommodative to our requests and change of plans when our flights were rescheduled. During the tour, she was also very contactable and stayed in touch with us and our tour drivers to ensure we were well taken care of throughout.
Both our tour guides were amazing. Joseph went above and beyond to give us the best experience, which allowed us to catch sight of all the safari animals within our first 2 safari days. I could say we were fortunate, but it was definitely with his knowledge and experience, that he was able to help us capture the best safari animal moments. He also was able to explain animal behaviours, and answered all of our questions.
We were also very well taken care of by Jackson. He had to take us on many long drives, and was always very patient despite how tiring the day was. Always attentive and helpful throughout our entire trip - he also brought us to see many safari animals in the Serengeti, where we got to witness a hunt too! He always checked in on us during meal times and would ask what we would like to see, and he always delivered on the drives too.
Very appreciative of the entire Morningstar team - the trip went so smoothly and we were so well taken care of. The only suggestion I would give is that it would be great if all the jeeps had air conditioning as there were some drives where it would get sandy and when we have to close all the windows it gets slightly stuffy. Other than that I’ve gotten so many questions on my tour from friends because the experience has been so great and I would definitely recommend Morningstar to other groups looking to for an authentic, fun, comfortable and memorable safari tour!

Incredible Kenyan Safari experience
My daughter and I have just completed an 8 day private Kenyan Safari and we couldn’t recommend Morningstar Tours and Travel as a Kenyan Safari provider highly enough!
Alice was our first contact with the Company and was super efficient in providing a suggested itinerary and quote. She made some minor adjustments for us and the final product was wonderful - visiting 5 different parks over the 8 days: Amboseli NP, Lake Naivasha, Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara.
Rono was our guide-driver for the 8 day Safari and we couldn’t have asked for a better person for the job! He was a safe driver, his vehicle was immaculate and extremely comfortable, his knowledge about his country, its wildlife and its flora, was incredible - and he was great company!
Whilst in Nairobi, Rono also introduced us to the team behind the scenes and it was wonderful to meet the local team that all work tirelessly to ensure everyone’s experience is the best possible.
All in all, there was nothing to fault and we would highly recommend Morningstar Tours and Travel to others seeking a high quality Kenyan Safari experience.

Phenomenal experience
We had a fantastic experience with Morning Star. To start with, communication and booking with Dennis could not have been made easier, he listened to our needs and he was able to accommodate personalisations to our itinerary. When our driver, Willy arrived to collect us from the hotel, we clicked immediately. Willy is kind, considerate, professional and really funny. However what really stands out is how Willy has SO much safari knowledge including different routes and facts about different animals. Just one example was when we were in Amboseli, he said "let's wait here because often elephants cross here about this time". 5 minutes later he was right, a whole herd crossed right in front of us! We truly had such a wonderful experience and we are so grateful to Morning Star, Dennis and Willy for doing everything to give us the best possible experience.

Amazing tour with amazing employees.
We were considering travelling to Kenya and Tanzania, and choosing Morningstar Tours was honestly one of the best decisions we made. I truly believe they are among the best in their field.
From the very beginning, they answered all our questions thoroughly and clearly explained every step of the journey. From the first minute until the very end of our trip, everything was carefully planned according to our wishes.
The guides were absolutely amazing. In Kenya, Willy was our guide, and he was fantastic. He clearly knows what he is doing, was extremely professional, and was also such a kind and pleasant person.
In Tanzania, our guide Jackson took things to another level. He seemed to do the impossible to help us experience and truly feel the real Africa, always while respecting nature and the animals. He is warm, positive, incredibly knowledgeable, and one of the best professionals I have ever encountered in this field.
Jackson knew all the little details and tricks about where and how to find different animals without disturbing them. Thanks to his experience and dedication, we were able to have some truly unforgettable experiences.
My family and I deeply enjoyed our entire trip, and I can honestly say that Jackson played a huge part in making it as wonderful as it was.
