the most helpful, cheerful, funny and kind person that we could of ask for. Thank you Hussein
My safari in Tanzania was truly one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfectly organised – the guides were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the wildlife and local culture.
We visited several national parks, including Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and each one was breathtaking in its own way. The landscapes were stunning, stretching endlessly with golden savannas, acacia trees, and dramatic skies. Every day felt like a scene out of a nature documentary.
The wildlife sightings were beyond anything I expected – we saw lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, and even a rare black rhino. Watching the Great Migration was an absolute highlight. It was awe-inspiring to witness thousands of wildebeest and zebras moving across the plains.
Our accommodations were also top-notch – beautiful lodges and luxury tents that allowed us to feel close to nature without sacrificing comfort. The food was delicious, and the hospitality was warm and genuine.
If you're looking for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, I can't recommend a Serengeti Smile safari enough. It was magical, humbling, and deeply moving. I came back with incredible memories, amazing photos, and a profound appreciation for the beauty of the African wilderness. Our guide, Hussein, is the most knowledgeable, kind and helpful person that we could ever ask for. He is a very happy person that helped us at spotting most of the animals, thanks to him we saw cheaters, leopards, lions and the complete "big five" I feel very lucky to have had him as our guide. Thank you Hussain for this beautiful experience and thanks Serengeti Smile

Absolutely fantastic.
We booked a last-minute safari holiday in Tanzania without much time to plan an itinerary. After reading some great reviews online, we decided to go with Serengeti Smile and we’re so glad we did.
From the very beginning, they were professional, organized, and attentive. We were met at the airport by one of their drivers, who took us to our first lodge in Arusha. The next morning, our safari guide Hussein arrived to pick us up and he was fantastic. Polite, professional, and extremely knowledgeable, Hussein made our safari experience unforgettable.
We explored Tarangire National Park, Central Serengeti, Seronera, Northern Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro region and crater. Thanks to Hussein’s many years of experience, we were able to spot all the animals we had hoped to see. He knew exactly where to go and how to position the vehicle for the best views and photographs all while respecting the animals and their natural habitat.
It was a truly wonderful and educational experience that we’ll never forget. Thanks to Hussein and the Serengeti Smile team, our spontaneous trip turned into the adventure of a lifetime.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Serengeti Smile to anyone considering a safari in Tanzania

Safari with Hussein
The guide Hussein was very prepared, helpful and nice. The parks we visited (Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro) are fantastic and the places where we slept were just as beautiful and welcoming.

**Incredible Big Five Safari in Tanzania with an Exceptional Guide – Hussein**
I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a once-in-a-lifetime Big Five safari in Tanzania, and it truly exceeded all expectations. From the stunning landscapes to the remarkable wildlife sightings, everything was flawless. What made this trip even more unforgettable was our guide, Hussein.
**The Safari Experience:**
The safari took us through some of Tanzania's most iconic national parks, including Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire. The sheer abundance of wildlife was breathtaking. We were fortunate enough to see all of the Big Five—lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinoceros—multiple times! The highlight, of course, was watching a pride of lions in the Serengeti, hunting and interacting with their cubs. It was a truly magical moment.
The landscapes were equally stunning, from the rolling hills of the Serengeti to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater, a unique ecosystem teeming with life. Each day brought new wonders, and every drive felt like an adventure waiting to unfold.
**Hussein – The Best Guide:**
A safari is only as good as the guide, and Hussein made our experience extraordinary. His deep knowledge of the wildlife, as well as the environment, added so much depth to the experience. He could identify animals from a distance and knew exactly where to go to increase our chances of spotting elusive animals. He shared fascinating insights about animal behavior, and his enthusiasm was contagious.
What stood out most was Hussein’s ability to make us feel safe and comfortable while still providing an immersive, thrilling experience. He was patient, respectful of the animals, and always put our safety and enjoyment first. His warm personality and attention to detail made every moment on the safari memorable.
**Final Thoughts:**
This safari in Tanzania was an unforgettable journey, and Hussein was the perfect guide to help us navigate through it. Whether you’re a first-time safari-goer or a seasoned traveler, I highly recommend going with Hussein as your guide. He made the experience feel personal, enriching, and filled with moments I will cherish forever. Highly recommended!

Wonderful experience!
We had an unforgettable 6-day safari in Tanzania! Lucas, our driver, was absolutely incredible. He knew exactly where to go to spot all the animals up close. Thanks to his skills, we got to see everything we had hoped for and more! Nickson, our translator, was also amazing. He explained everything about the animals and the environment in great detail and made sure everything was perfectly translated. Both Lucas and Nickson were kind, helpful, and took great care of me and my family throughout the trip. A big thank you to both of them for making this experience so special!

Incredible wildlife viewing & accommodation
We (family of 4) did a safari with Serengeti Smile through the Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro & Lake Manyara - and it exceeded our expectations. We saw far more wildlife than we expected, our guide Zach excelled at getting us the best game sightings and was flexible with the game drives to meet our desired sightings, which included a long drive to the northern Serengeti to catch the great migration. We had a wonderful time - highly recommend

Amazing Safari - Asante Sana!!
We had an unforgettable safari with Serengeti smile & Simon as our guide!
During the booking process Baraka our sales rep was very helpful and responsive, I had been emailing over months to put our dream plan into place. The office may send over a designed itinerary with accommodations, but they are able to send different options for the accommodations within your range budget, allowing you to pick from a few options. Baraka sent me a few options until I was happy.
We were booked for “4DAYS - TARANGIRE, SERENGETI & NGORONGORO MID-RANGE SAFARI” - Unfortunately we had a delayed 48 arrival due to airspace being shut down in Qatar which caused us to be late for our trip, so we missed the tarangire park and our first night. Our 4 day trip became 3.
We were incredibly stressed while we was stuck in Qatar and thought we wasn’t going to make our trip at all, but Baraka our sales rep was incredibly responsive and made new accommodation arrangements for our late arrival to ensure we could salvage our trip .
Our guide Simon waited patiently for us at Kilimanjaro airport for hours and even coordinated with the airline to have our lost luggage flown from Kilimanjaro into the Serengeti airport the next day.
During the safari with Simon we were lucky to witness some incredible wildlife: several prides of lions, a sighting of three male lions walking right beside our jeep. We also spotted a cheetah, two rhinos, countless zebras, gazelles, giraffes, elephants (including adorable babies), hippos, serval cat , crocodiles, buffalo, wildebeest, flamingos, waterhogs , baboons, and ostriches, hyenas!
We visited both the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, and while both were amazing , the Crater was my personal favourite as it felt like stepping into a real life scene from The Lion King, the landscape was unreal and diverse ….with elephants and hippos sharing the same close area & water. The zebras, buffalo, and gazelles grazing peacefully within close proximity together & flamingos and pelicans in the salt waters. All the animals are more on top of each other in this smaller part of land - it’s incredible to see.
Our guide Simon was very informative about all the animals , the trees and the maasai tribe, Simon provided us with a lot of information and Swahili phrases!
He was happy to stop for me to take any photos whenever I requested. He made sure we was positioned in a good spot to see the animals or get photos. He was able to spot lions in the trees and did a good job making sure we spotted lots of animals.
We had water provided in the jeep & Simon made sure we were happy & stopped for washrooms when they were close by.
Asante Sana for a great trip Simon !!! 🦒🦁🐘🐒🦓🐊
We stayed at Serengeti Kifaru Tented Lodge and Embalakai Authentic Camps Ngorongoro Camp ..both offered great facilities, friendly staff, and good meals. It gets chilly in the Crater at night, and a thoughtful touch of a hot water bottle left in our bed made it cozy.
Both camps provided us with nice pack lunches for our day drives.
There was a giraffe eating from a tree outside the main lodge in Embalakai when we woke up which was cool🦒
We’d arranged the sunrise hot air balloon trip via Baraka before we arrived - which was arranged for our second day. This was an incredible experience.
The hot air balloon is an external company, so they collect you in the morning from your lodge and after the balloon your guide will meet you at 10am to continue your day.
We had an incredible time & seen so many animals even though we missed a day, the safari exceeded all expectations and we’re so grateful to both Simon and Baraka for salvaging our trip and making it such a special experience.
They also both WhatsApp’d us making sure we got to Zanzibar ok (which I had arranged separately) after the safari ended (we also had some other airline issue leaving to Zanzibar, which both Simon and Baraka again kindly helped assist us with!)
We recommend Serengeti smile & Simon as a guide!
Thank you Serengeti smile 🇹🇿💚🐘

Adams Family Trip
My dealings with Jonyo made choosing the company for our Safari choice easy. Even though we were in Australia everything was answered quickly and efficiently and explained well. The trip was adjusted to suit our needs perfectly. Our e digital itinerary was easy to share amongst our small group. Appreciate we were able to make a late change to our group from 7 to 6 seamlessly at the last moment. Our guide Champion was personable, friendly and a safe driver.
