Extremely service orientend and focused on making sure we hade the most amazing experience
Serengeti Smilea and our tour guide Libe gave us an incredible experience. I would recommend using this conpany to anyone. Very friendly, service minded. Libe took us around Teregire, Serengeti and Ngorogoro and made sure we got to see the big 5. In addition Libe shared lots of experience and knowledge about the parks, animals but also country, traditions which was very interesting to learn. A memory for lifetime

Unforgettable experience, with the best tour operator!
My girlfriend and I decided to entrust our first ever safari to Serengeti Smile, and we were absolutely thrilled with the experience. From our very first telephone conversation with Jeremiah, we felt confident and well looked after in every way, and we were even able to deal with a few minor personal issues thanks to his flexibility and helpfulness. In addition, we were accompanied by John during our four-day safari, an expert guide who shared his knowledge, passion and sense of security with us. Everything was organised down to the smallest detail, and we wanted for nothing. Truly an unforgettable experience!

Great tour and great service
We selected Serengeti Smile because it was very fast in making all the different quotes we asked to decide what to do in our safari. Jeremiah was always very helpful and responsive, also when we had questions after the booking (like with the online Visa request). He also helped us organize a orphanage visit in Arusha.
The lodges and camp site selected were all great.
Our tour guide John was a great driver and explained us everything when we had question.

Overall and amazing company and tour guide!
We did a 8 day safari in Tanzania with 3 nights extension to Zanzibar. From the beginning Patricia was easy to communicate with, she was very responsive and answered all our questions. Then from the airport pickup to our last night, the company was professional, the kind and easy to communicate with. Our guide for our safari was Zack. He has many years of experience and that showed in his driving skills, his professionalism, his knowledge or the animals and cultures. He was kind to everyone we met, he shared food if extra was available and he was conscious of the rules in the park. Respecting the animals by keeping appropriate distance all the while getting us the best opportunities for photos. (Not all company guides did this) For us respecting the nature and animals is very important and it was so nice to be with someone that cared. 10/10 would recommend this company if your searching for an exciting African safari. We would also recommend Zack if he is available, we learned so much from him. You can tell he loves his job, is passionate about his country and people that live here. Thank you for taking us on this adventure!!

They were very responsive, guide was phenomenal and Tanzania based company.
We had the most amazing safari experience with Serengeti smiles. It’s overwhelming when booking a tour operator but Patricia helped us to book just what we needed. She replied to my emails very promptly answering any questions I had. It was a seamless process and all accommodations booked were wonderful. Our safari guide/driver (Zack) was absolutely amazing! He was professional, prompt, knowledgeable and experienced. His driving was great even on the extremely rough roads. He was enjoyable to be around and truly made our experience unforgettable!
Great company, good value for money and very reliable.

They were reliable, professional and everyone we dealt with very friendly!
We did a 4 day safari in October 2025 with Serengeti Smile and had Libe as our guide. We had a once in a lifetime experience and Libe was an amazing guide. He was knowledgeable, reliable and friendly. He drove the bumpy African roads very well too! We saw the Big 5 up close within 3 days and also lots of other rare wildlife including a close encounter with a cheetah and her cubs. We also managed to see a rare black rhino up close too. Would definitely recommend Serengeti Smile to anyone wanting to do a Tanzanian safari. They were very organised and professional from initial enquiry through the booking process and when we arrived. Thanks Libe for a fantastic few days we will never forget!

Very responsive and helpful; good guide.
The company was easy to deal with (unlike many), they provided a good guide (Champion), the lunches were good, the jeep was well equipped including with a charger and chilled drinks. Guide was very consentious and responsive to our requests.
As for the hotels we wanted a tented camp and we were given two. Both of the two we chose had some good features but both were off a noisy highway. If you don't like road noise don't choose those.

Short and sweet safari
We took a short 3-day safari with Serengeti Smiles and it was an excellent choice. We had a day in Tarangire and saw so many different types of animals including the most elephants I’ve ever seen. We had a very nice hotel stay for the 2 nights in Karatu with beautiful rooms and the friendliest people. Our second day involved meeting some local tribes by Lake Eyasi, the Hadzabe and the Datoga. Spending a few hours with the Hadzabe as they shared how they maintained one of the last hunter/gatherer lifestyles in the world was one of the most unique experiences I’ve ever had. Another stay at our Karatu hotel with some time by the pool and our last day was at Ngorongoro Crater where we saw plenty of lions, hyenas, warthogs, elephants, baboons and the elusive black rhino. I can’t thank our guide Barnabas enough, he was really friendly and knowledgeable, he looked after us really well and made our safari a wonderful experience. His animal spotting is excellent and his laugh very infectious, we couldn’t recommend more!

Barnabas is the best!
Barnabas was a fantastic safari guide and I would recommend him to anyone. From the minute he picked us up at the hotel, he was informative and stopped throughout the journey to show us interesting places and tell us information about the local area including the history, farming, local culture and wildlife. We really appreciated his great sense of humour and positive energy which he brought whether it was 6am at the start of a safari or 7pm after a long day.
In both parks, Barnabas seemed to always be in the right place at the right time. We saw lions mating, elephants crossing the road with their calves, a rare rhino in the bush and many more animals including giraffes, hyenas, baboons, hippos, ostriches, gazelles, warthogs. He knew so much about all of the different species and would share facts with us during the duration of the safari.
Barnabas is an excellent driver and he was highly competent at navigating the roads. He was also super punctual and always met us on time and was where he said he would be. We appreciated his flexibility, for example, stopping off at a shop so that we could buy some artwork or starting the day early so that we could maximise our time at the national parks.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Barnabas to anyone wanting to see Tanzania’s amazing wildlife up-close. He is a truly great guide with a great sense of humour.

Smile with Serengeti…Smile
When you travel in Africa forget Europe …this is Africa. Nonetheless all was perfect as per Serengeti Smile plan…we had minor problem during a night stay ( Serengeti classic view camp …in my personal top 3 of African travels ) and it was fixed despite we were in the middle of nowhere …for the rest, you need a good , calm , smart driver who cares about safe driving ( we had it ) …and then , with a bit of luck , you see all you can see…we can’t book appointments with wild animals…
