An outstanding, well-organized tour led by a knowledgeable and friendly guide
I had a fantastic experience with Balu Travel and truly enjoyed every part of the tour with my group. From the beginning, everything was well organized and communication was clear, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free.
Our tour guide was one of the highlights of the trip. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history, culture, and places we visited, and he shared stories and context that made each stop more meaningful. He was also very patient and always happy to answer questions, no matter how small, which made everyone feel comfortable and engaged.
The team was also extremely understanding and flexible. One person in our group experienced a flight disruption that delayed their arrival, and Balu Travel kindly waited a bit longer in the morning so they could still join us. That level of patience and accommodation was truly appreciated and made a big difference for our group.
What I appreciated most was how easy our guide was to talk to. He created a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, making it easy for everyone to connect and enjoy the experience without feeling rushed.
Overall, Balu Travel delivered excellent service, great value for money, and a memorable experience. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, professional, and enjoyable tour.

Great Day in Amboseli wirh Africa
We took a one day tour to Amboseli with Africa as our guide, he was amazing! He was so friendly, knew so much about the park, the animals and the Massai people. Nothing was too much for him and he made sure we had an amazing time. Amboseli is beautiful, but with Africa as our guide we had truly the best experience possible.

Safari was a great experience for us and we really enjoyed! Peter has been an excellent guide for the whole 4 days and can recommend the company further. Also in lake Naivasha Chacha (Mike) and Moses have also been really great guides.

Very knowledgeable and friendly
We had a great experience with James as our tour guide! Communication with Balu was very easy, they are very flexible with payments and very reliable. We saw all the animals we needed to see and James was very know does on facts about them and would also take us very close to them. Would definitely recommend!

Incredible 4-Day Safari with Balu Travel & Guide Kasaine
Our 4-day safari to Lake Nakuru and the Masai Mara with Balu Travel was amazing. Our guide, Kasaine, was knowledgeable, friendly, and helped us spot pretty much every animal we hoped to see. The trip was well-organized, smooth, and truly unforgettable. Highly recommend!

My husband and I went to Amboseli for a 3 day tour and had a great time! From the beggining the communication went smoothly and everything was just as promised. We had a great time with Carlos; he really knows how to spot animals and I guess we were also lucky to see all there is to see. But I really appreciated that we could talk to him, learn a lot about Kenya and Kenyans and laughed a gret deal. It was a true adventure.

Great tour operator with excellent guide (Shaddy!)
Balu Travel offered us a very smooth and efficient booking process, with clear and easy communication throughout.
On the ground in Kenya, our 4-day safari (Lake Nakuru & Masai Mara) exceeded expectations – largely thanks to our guide, Shaddy. Responsible, professional, and exceptionally knowledgeable, Shaddy knows Kenya like the back of his hand, both inside and outside the national parks - adding interesting stops along the way to the parks. He consistently went above and beyond to make our trip unforgettable, and he certainly succeeded.
Over the four days, we saw every animal on our bucket list – from the Big Five (including both black and white rhinos) to cheetahs, ostriches, hyenas, warthogs, crocodiles, several monkey species, and a remarkable variety of birds. As a Maasai himself, Shaddy also introduced us to Maasai traditions and customs and took us to visit a local Maasai community, providing an interesting cultural layer to our experience.
Overall, we truly enjoyed our safari with Shaddy and Balu Travel and can fully recommend them to anyone looking for an unforgettable safari adventure in Kenya.

Balu arranged a well organized safari trip. Beautiful gamedrives with a excellent guide/driver
Morris of Balu Travel organized a great safari for a fair price. They gave us a choice of lodges and they were all wonderful. He also arranged SGR train tickets for our trip from NBO to Voi station ( can only be paid with m-pesa, not Cc. ). We did Tsavo East, West and Amboseli. Our guide/driver Junior picked us up in Voi, did all of the gamedrives and drove us eventually back to NBO. He is an excellent and safe driver which is very important regarding the challenging local traffic. During the gamedrives Junior positioned us every time in the perfect spot to see the animals. He was very punctual and maintained the car in good condition. We checked all boxes regarding the animal species we wanted to see. All together our safari arranged by Balu was a great success.
