About: Kenya
Abundance of wildlife and beautiful scenary
Overall rating
5/5

Kenya is the birthplace of Safari for a reason. There are so many different parks, where you have the possibility to go on a safari. All the parks offer geat game drives and the scenary is beautiful. Even the lesser known national parks are home to lions, leopards, cheetah and so many other animals. So it's worth spending a bit more time and not only go for the most famous parks, especially since Kenya is a little bit more affordable than other countries. We had a super guide for two weeks, who was so friendly and passionate about his job. It made the whole experience very enjoyable.

We had a great safari in Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire and lake Manyara. We saw loads of wildlife, including the big five and beautiful landscape. People were very nice and our guide and people in lodges made enormous efforts to ensure the best experience possible.

5/5

Everything was so well organized. Charles is very friendly. We took a package that included everything starting from airport pickup, drop as well as Safari along with hotel stay and food. Everything was good. He is a very responsible person who is very punctual about everything. Overall we enjoyed our first trip to Kenya and got back with some amazing experience.

Amazing experience with Msangai
5/5

- While many reviews highlighted how great it is to go on safari with Msangai (our experience are totally in line with those reviews) - we believe it's worth pointing out that Msangai can really plan things *beyond* the typical Serengeti safari and create a full itinerary for you. Some people add Zanzibar or they choose to explore other national parks. In our case, we chose to add a day hike in Kilimanjaro (from Marangu gate) and a coffee plantation visit and short waterfall hike in the foothills of Mount Meru. While we enjoyed our safari immensely, we felt like these two other days were also real highlights of our trip. - Our safari guide and driver Mark was exceptional. Thanks to him, we managed to see numerous animals (big and small!) throughout our time in Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and of course Serengeti (incl. Mara river crossing). We also believe his experience really showed in the way he made his decisions during the game drives (where to go, how long to wait, when to move on and switch spots, etc.). On a personal level, he was very warm and courteous. We always felt safe and well taken care of and we cannot thank him enough!!! - It's also worth highlighting that the service feels very personal! Communication during the planning phase before the trip was effective, and during the trip they also stay in touch with you to see how things are, and so on. Erick the founder of Msangai picked us up from the airport upon arrival, and took care of us during the post-safari part of our trip (when we were more based around Moshi) and drove us back to the airport. Lots of conversations and laughter were of course shared during those days. Thanks for the company Erick and we hope to hike with you again someday!

I visited several iconic places in Jonnanesburg and Soweto with Pure Diamond Tour.
The guide spoke English and French and had a great knowledge of the country's history. He was punctual, friendly and educational. I was able to learn a lot.
I highly recommend

I had compared several tour operators and I think this is the most interesting and relevant from a price and quality point of view.

Very good, very knowledgeable, well organised
5/5

I have just finished a 16 day private tour birding in Uganda with Wide Birding Eco Tours with guide Alex Gabiito. Alex has been a bird guide for 15 years and knew where to find all the birds. I saw 416 bird species in total as well as other fascinating wild life including gorillas and Tree Lions. Seeing Murchisson Falls was also a non-birding highlight for me. The trip was well organised, with local site guides included in many locations together with boat trips. I was paying for the more basic accommodation but it seemed more like mid range standard to me and I had no complaints with it. The food was better than I had anticipated. Uganda is a beautiful country, has abundant wildlife and lacks the tourist crowds of other countries like Kenya, Botswana and South Africa. This leads to a more personal experience. Also, due to it's prescence on a a plateau, the climate of the country is very pleasant and comfortable unlike other 'hot' climate countries.

A trustable travel company for your Safari Adventure with safety and enjoyment.
5/5

In August this year, we embarked on a trip to Tanzania with trepidation. However, the careful arrangement of Fahari Safari not only eliminated our anxiety, but also as the experienced guide driver Nathan took us to try different routes, there were constant surprises every day. We watched the wild animals foraging, animals migration and thrilling river crossings. Unforgettable was that the big 5 activities and the lions was walking between the cars up close. This immersive feeling was wonderful. The seemingly arduous journey to Africa is actually a rare life experience and enjoyment of being in nature. Thanks to travel designer Jesse for making our Safari Adventure come true. Highly recommended.

Twiga tours are excellent to travel with providing great comfort and excellent food choices.
5/5

We loved our safari with Twiga Tours. We had an excellent tour organiser in James Cracknell from Windsong Travel and our driver was David who was an excellent driver and provided answers to all our questions even googling to find the correct answer to difficult questions. We would thoroughly recommend this safari tour. We saw all of the big game animals and smaller animals and numerous birds.

A reliable operator
5/5

It was my first time to use Family Leisure Africa Safaris to visit Maasai Mara for the famous wildebeest migration. The planning process was seamless with the operator giving very reasonable prices for my family.
We was picked by Simon, a very friendly tour guide who doubled up as the driver that explained every bit of the journey to us so well and was very patient.
Maasai Mara is my best destination and would not minding visiting every year. In addition to witnessing the migration of the Wildebeests across the Mara River, Simon helped us in spotting other wild animals.
I cannot appreciate the operator more for the above board service from the planning and execution of the trip.
The lodge that we spent at had very clean rooms, great food. The visit to the Maasai village to learn the local culture including their signature dance was spectacular.
I would work with Family Leisure Safaris any day any time.
